Changed to 98 main jet good with stock pipe (lost 1mph top speed over the 100 main jet with 15t sprocket)
Did the 15t to 16t front sprocket change, dropped the RPM's about 500 so 55mph is not red line now, faster 0-50 and faster top speed! Lost something off the bike and tightened the mirrors. I am back in Florida, see elvis?

Another great video thanks. Wish they would allow us in Australia to register these bikes. Would be great for getting around.
That exhaust cover is easy to spot. I lost the little knob off my drag specialties tach once. I heard something hit my gas tank which made no since until I got home. Went back to where I heard it and found it in the middle of the road after a minute or two of searching. I was amazed I found it.
Wow that's a miracle
Gizmo is becoming a star. Over 60 mph is impressive!
Nicely done cheesy
I'd trade my tuned 2020 grom for one of those. Mainly because I have a 250cc engine just sitting waiting for its first fire. But I'm giving it to my son for his 16th birthday in November since he says he doesn't want anything but a bike. Time for me to graduate to a dad bike.
Damn. Nice
I bit the bullet today and bought a KTN 350 exc.... Decent price for the area... Saved about a grand.. Yep, going for add ons..lol
8:12 "That's what she said" Moment 🤣
I have the vader125 gen 2 and the only mods I've done is 17t sprocket and nibbi carb and mine cruises at around 50.i thought the condor would be faster being a 150cc with 5 or 6 gears. Once you upgrade the carb and exhaust and also the spark plug., I think it will do what it's supposed to..
Very cool.. Good for an exit or 2 on the highway if need be.
I noticed that the use only the finest tools such as the Swedish nut lathe on the rear end during the sprocket change.
P S missed opportunity, the shprockets skit from old Saturday Night Live.
Hey Motorcheese , the new bike looks great. But I'm partial to Whitey .
Me too!
love you videos are you doing an exhaust change soon im about to get mine an looking for recommendations
Not sure yet, will be researching soon
Confucious says: "Only after mosquito lands on your testicles, do you truly learn to problem solve without violence."
Makes perfect sense to moi!
Good tweaks on that little ride, you should name IT Gizmo too.
Confucius also say: man with hand in pocket feel cocky all day.
And a woman with hand in pocket feels holy
You think you can do a jetting tutorial, more in depth on what you are listening or feeling for before determining which way to go on size
Sure, I try and explain when I'm doing it. I can try and explain better
Pretty cool bike I just got done rebuilding the xr650l dam countershaft
Bearings went?
@@MotoCheez countershaft stripped where sprocket goes
Oof
Keep an eye a on those sprocket's keeper, last month I ignored mine was in bad condition and forgot to buy a new one and I got rekt on my "hawk" going 60, the sprocket fall off and got stuck between the swingarm and the frame and lock the rear tire completely, loss control of the bike and I fell, lucky for me I was able to control it until the last secs, the bike was fine... sort of, the slider got destroyed the front brake lever too and part of the rear hub gone, only for not changing in time that keeper in time
Damn! Never had one do that! I've lost the keeper and sprocket stayed in shaft for I don't know how long years ago on a TS125
@@MotoCheez you got lucky there then, but better to have some of those keepers on spare and check it out in every maintenance of the transmission, I didn't change mine cuz hadn't one in that moment
The condor is clearly an underrated songbird. But the bike makes nice noises :D
😁 yes
Hey Cheez, on your website you list the rear brake cable as important. Is the stock cable bad?
If they have not changed it, yes. It's too short and will wear and break by swingarm. Have video showing it
Got a Boom Vader, no match for the Condor, but wondered what is a 'safe' rpm to keep under. I saw in video 9k+ here. Anyone other Clone owners want to share experiences?
8k probably. I was in the red until I put the bigger front sprocket
Loctite all damn nuts and bolts on!
I prefer our TV silicone much easier to remove handles the vibrations very good
Can change on bike after replacing the bowl bolts right?
Yes, but it's easier to remove carb. It'll come out without removing plastic
Have you been able to adjust the a/f screw?
Idle mixture? Yeah on last video
I’ve never seen these before. Are they as reliable as a grom? What about parts availability & cost?
They're probably not quite as reliable but parts are easy, most parts fit off Grom for frame, dealers have parts too
Got a question about insuring the bike. I can’t find anyone who does full coverage
I use allstate.
What would happen if I put a 17 sprocket? Mine should be getting here in 2 weeks
It would lower cruising RPMs, not sure if it has the power to go any faster with a 17t. May lose top speed. Let me know!
Hey man.... trying to pick your brain about my carb jetting....I have the bike you sold your buddy the Apollo 250 rx deluxe....and I have a pipe ...I put the mikuni vm 26 on it.....and the stock carb was no good lean pop in low and high rpm after break in ...just garbage so ...it seems to me to be running decent with the installed jet.....just wondering what are your thoughts on the jet sizes
Try a 110 main jet and 2 1/2.turns out on mixture.
@@MotoCheez thank you
My Hawk is getting hard to get in natural when hot. Would you put synthetic in it ? And pulls a little with clutch all the way in but only when it hot .Thanks
Clutch needs adjustment. It's not fully disengaging and that's the reason neutral is hard. If you don't fix it your clutch will be ruined shortly(under1000 miles)
@@infesting Thanks, I will try that, so you want me to shorten the cable some right ?
Yes. Should only have 1/4 play
I think I'm gonna pass on the kpx 250 and go for the kp mini again just don't know If i should grab the carb version or the efi one what would cheezus do ?
If you go with the EFI version you can't do modifications because I Don't think there's any updated firmware. If you do the carbureted version you could definitely modify and put bigger carb etc. So if you plan on keeping it stock I definitely go with the EFI
@MotoCheez thank u bro carb life it izzz 500 bucks cheaper it can go to a kp moto exauhst and a new carb jet kit ect might be able to stretch some bark busters out the deal lol 😆 😉 😀
@MotoCheez carb jetted like my 212cc minibike and the header I think it will spice it up a bit wish me luck man think ima get me a whitey lol💪🏼💯
@angrycruizer2o3 woohoo
Moto cheese, could a dura max 999 cc motor adapt to the trans
What's trans?
do you think a cg230 would bolt to this bike? was almost temped to buy one and drop my older cg engine on it to see if it would work out
Yes! I have a CG250 (230) donor I'm going to put in mine. Looks like it'll bolt right in.
@@MotoCheez thats awsome cant waite to see the results of it, and if possible maybe later on you can do a video of the big bore kits for the cg250 engines
I saw they're finally available!
What's a good aftermarket exhaust to purchase for this bike? Mine will be here this weekend
I made mine, but it's the same as other vertical 150cc bikes
I made my own, never found one that fits only
🔥
Say cheese which aftermarket exhaust should I look into..??? Thanks an advance…
I was told the Lifan Xpro and Venom SS3 pipes fit. Same bike basically
@@MotoCheez ok thank you friend
Do you have insurance on this bike? And if so, which insurance? I have the same one and I’m having a hard time trying to find a place to insure my bike. I type in the vin and it won’t find it or the model of the bike🥴 thanks bro
Yes, I use allstate
@@MotoCheez thanks bro
So changing from 15 teeth to 16 teeth don't you loss torque but gain top speed?
Yes
Do a video on 10k miles on grom clones. Will they ever reach that type of usage. 🤷♂️
They'll get there. I was referring to the hawk style bikes, didn't notice it was asked about the crom style.
Haven't seen a ZS190 at 10k yet. 6kish so far but I believe it'll do it no problem.
Dang… almost
Should go down a few on the rear sprocket.
It's pretty good where it's at now. I think a 17t will fit front. Rear pretty small
I am confused why do all these mods when my stock RPS condor 150 cc goes up to 64mph? i dont see much difference in gaining top speed after you changed Carb, jet, Sprocket.
Have you checked your speedometer with a GPS? These mods absolutely give it more power
@MotoCheez ok ill try that.. also where did u get the sprocket cover from?? My stock sprocket cover wont fit after changing it to 17t..
@omer5321 stock cover fits, have to finagle it a little
@@MotoCheez Thanks for the replies ill try that
I wonder if it would be out of your comfort zone to do a DIY e bike some time? You can use a bike with some suspension and disk brakes to add a kit motor, controller and battery set up on. Throttle grip or thumb throttle.. Motor sizes from 250 watts up to 5,000 watts .
Some guys build bikes that can go up to 50 mph without peddling 😂
I want to do something with an ebike...
65 not bad
What altitude are you?
About 600ft
Ay bro my condor ignition just fucked and wont start anymore no matter how much i turn the key it just wont start anymore. Tried a 4 prong plug and play from amazon didnt work. Any recomendations?
Has spark? Fuel? Compression? Or is it not cranking like battery dead?
@@MotoCheez like the batterys deadb
So you push the starter and it doesn't click or do anything? It could be the safety on the clutch lever, make sure it's a neutral I can't remember if it has that safety or not and it kickstand is up. Did you try jumping the battery or charging it?
@@MotoCheez no actually left it to a small motorcyle repair shop so idk im gona go today and see if he could get it to work with the ignition i bought on amazon or whatever
But if it the starter is not turning the motor over it wouldn't be the ignition, did you try kickstarting it
Hawk 250 motor next?
Soon!
was seriously looking at the 150 condor but after seeing your perf.and it not able to kill the kp150 mini,i am jus gonna go with the raven 250 street dirt bike for the same price
If you want a better Walmart shoe I found the style at Big 5 sporting store its more comfortable then the Walmart leather one
Never heard of that store . I'll look into it
Seems like that all you really need for a bike
Say Cheez can I put a 17 tooth sprocket on it..mines should be here Monday and I’m trying to get all upgrades to mod it out for more speed??
Yes, It's tight to get the cover back on but it'll go You just got to keep wiggling around
@@MotoCheez ok appreciate it
Say Cheez my Condor came in and I think it’s not getting gas from the tank I’m thinking the line from the tank is clogged up…any suggestions ??? All infr would be much appreciated thank you..
@@yugzjones7366 definitely make sure that the tank vent isn't pinched I believe there's a hose on that one If not maybe it is that lid with the key on it. You can open the lid while you're driving or while you try to drain it to see if that is the problem or maybe try blown back in through the line
Pull a hose off that goes into carburetor and see, the fuel shut off is kind of up in there to get to
What performance mods do you recomend
Pipe, bigger carb, sprocket. I'm still experimenting.
@@MotoCheez any links for those items
The only links I have are in the description and motocheez.com and a condor section so far
@@MotoCheez thank you man im gona stay tune i wana make this bike go 70
Me too!
17t wouldnt fit?
It would fit, but too high geared then, doesn't have the power
HI MC,
My Condor shipped on the 30th, hopefully it gets here next week. Anyway, based on Sprocket Calculator's website a change up to 16 teeth should provide a 6.7% increase in speed with a subsequent 6.7% reduction in torque, which it is what I'll be testing since I already have a 16 tooth chainring in my garage. My thinking is that living in flat Florida I probably won't mind the loss in torque as much as I'll appreciate the speed gain.
BTW, ordered the main jet off of your link below. Thanks.
Awesome! Yes, you're correct.
I like the less rpm at higher speeds. Then more power mods the better!
Up
Look at them knobbies 😙
Edit: have you thought about the Lifan KPM for Florida?
I was thinking this bike for Florida when I'm done... I would like to have the Lifan tho
Great job doing that carb without saying the f-word
🤣😂 I may have edited that out
He said "doodoo".
What about an automatic?
You mean like the scooter style?
@@MotoCheez yes
@jasondrobick2363 I do have a Roma 150 in my container up North that I was going to pull out and play with. It's an older one but it looks like a sport bike
About 3 mins 10 seconds in...you say doo doo haha
Uhho
Florida’s Calling….
I'm still here, did video before I left
Live it up bro.. nothing like the salty air!
What about the chocolate cake? ):
😁😁👍 or cheez
Wow, seriously weird,...first watch of this video and I'm seeing the camping trip you took a few weeks ago in minivan with your buddies up in trees, I'm thinking after 10 minutes you already uploaded this a while back, not seeing anything re - (E3) RPS Condor 150cc 16t sprocket 98 main jet, 0-50mph and top speed! I lost something. And as I watch the camping video the "E3 RPS Condor etc" title is showing beneath the video window. Weird
Watched the whole video then tried clicking on thumbnail (E3) RPS Condor again, now watching it. My fingers don't click accurately anymore - paralysis - but that's a weird one!
That is weird
Then there's my hawk 250 topping out at 33mph 😂😂😂😂 fml
Why?! Lol choke on?
@@MotoCheez should the choke be all the way up or down 😂😂
Edit: mines all the way up always
Up is off, so that's goid
That motor is likely made for third world countries that have bad low octane gas. Milling the head and having the valve seats and valves cut with a performance valve job would probly really wake it up.
The CG clone engine is exactly that
