I was wondering if you have considered using the power tags plugin. It looks like inserting templates but faster.
I have looked at it in the beginning but will play with it a bit more. One of my main issues till now was that adding properties means I lose the ability to auto complete them and hope there will be a workaround for that.
Great video many thanks fot share, how do you create the table?
Easiest way to make table is a simply query and switching on table mode. Mostly use that with properties that I want to group/collect.
Say I make a property sleephours and mood, so what I do is add those to pages (usually journal) with mood:: good sleephours:: 7.5 and then I make a query saying like {{query (property mood)}}. That only looks for the mood property but if the sleephours is always next to it, both show up in the table.
Bonus, query to show up if either option was set - {{query (or (property mood)(property sleephours))}}
How did you create a table query to list all the books? Also, do you know how one can create a query that only outputs the block, and not the whole page? I am trying to list all blocks that have #wisdom or #idea in their name. Appreciate your help.
Thank you. How can I have one template in the Journal on every day, without doing that manually? Thank you.
The steps to get that to work is making a journal template and adding it's name to the config file in Logseq, in settings there is an edit config.edn button and the journal entry is on line 21
If it's still tricky, hit me up on Mastadon or Twitter DM's and I'll send you a quick recording.
Not really on topic for this video, what is a good approach to store my LogseqNotes? I would like to store them somewhere on a cloud (onedrive or Google drive) so I have my notes available at work,at home, or on the go (android)...
While logseq sync is the most hassle-free. I still recommend syncthing to keep notes on multiple devices. Usually with a backup solution like idrive
