- In this video, I cover 20 lesser-known Logseq features. Power users may know some of these, but I hope you find at least one feature that you haven't seen before!

Regarding 9:47, you can make links even faster and easier: you can just write a label or display text, select it, and paste the URL over it. Voilà! It will turn into a link.
That’s awesome! Great tip!
Those are very meaningful and practiccal tips! 👍👏
I'm a simple man. When I see Alan Young upload a video, I watched it, and hit like.
Haha, I appreciate that!
Second that, these are muchneasierbto understand than most
Third.
Youve done a great feature review. I'm coming back to Logseq for task management after trying many other approaches. I wasn't familiar with many of the features you cover. I'm now even more pleased to be back with Logseq . The devs have been doing great things.
Dude! New to Logseq and the first three minutes of this video have been really helpful...
Hello Alan. Great video. I have been using Logseq for a few years and yet your video taught me a few new things and reminded me of a few things I had forgotten. Thank you.
Excellent video ! Nice calm vibe, short and straight to the point.
I think you should mention syncthing as a default sync method. It does not use any 3rd party storage, so you are not breaking any corporate policy.
thx for sharing all tips. as a newcomer this has been helpful 🎉
This is really helpful! Thanks. Looking forward to more videos
Great video and very useful. Thanks for putting it together.
Great video, thank you. Again, I learned a lot. You have a very pleasant voice, too. Please keep up the great work. 😊
I've been wondering what all you can do with this program. Thanks for this quick overview!
man you need to add more Logseq content - your approach is so appropriate
Wow, simple and to the point.
4:55 Geocities! What a flashback
Thank you for this !!!!
Keep making great content
Glad you like it!
Great video. Thank you!
great video! helps a lot! thank you!
I’m fond of the idea of treating Blocks as first-class citizens in Notion. However, Notion feels quite restrictive when it comes to exporting content and integrating plugins. I’m definitely inclined to give this app a shot.
Great video
+1 for the marquee-Tag 😅
Ta for that as there are a few that will be useful for me. 🙂
veryvery useful
I just want to add, I've been using icloud sync for the past two weeks and it has no problem keeping the pages synced when working from multiple devices. If it seems like something is missing though when I first boot up the app just refreshing the graph fixes it. I actually lost date while using logseq's sync feature and trying to sync between multiple devices. So from my experience I would say icloud is more stable.
This is great context to know, thank you!
Thanks. Do you use logseq for long-form notes? If so, how? I keep going back to Obsidian but miss the linking power that is built right into logseq.
I typically use Logseq at work for my daily meeting notes - I find that I really value the frictionless data-entry and journal-focused philosophy of Logseq better for that. For long-form notes, I've used Obsidian and Craft and I like them both!
Cool vidja, Boss! I’m smarter for it!
Do you use Logseq for personal everyday use as well or purely for work? I sit in a similar situation where cloud syncing is not a viable option for my work computer but I have been starting to use Logseq on my personal computer. Do you only use Logseq for work on your work computer and then have a separate instance on your personal devices for non-work?
That’s right! I primarily use it at work, but I do have a personal instance that I use for researching birds (a hobby of mine) and UA-cam topics.
3:40🎉
What makes that little connected line when you select a bullet?
It's a plugin called "bullet threading"
Hi, can we monetize content using logseq ?
Damn. The interface is so clean, but hides true power and features by using open source libraries!~
but Alan what IS that vimeo video @ 5:19 ☠💀
🤭
Liev Schrieber?
😅 My bank account says no

Lesser-known features...?
The most annoying thing about logseq is its plain checkbox is AWFUL. I wish developers fix this :(
While researching macros for this video, I saw someone use a custom command and macro to make better checkboxes - could be an interesting idea to explore!
The # is not a hashtag, it has many names, but it's not a "tag", but may be called a hash sign/symbol (or pound, number sign etc.). A tag prepended with a hash is called the hashtag.
So stop calling it a hashtag.
ATM machine... Personal PIN number, etc., etc. : ))))))
