Fantastic. This is the video I have been waiting to see for the past five years. 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for all the good information ❤❤
You're welcome!
I only wear a sleeve. It works for me.
I was initially diagnosed with meniscus tear but after MRI, turns out to be bone marrow edema contusion. Quite confusing, but yup, now my 5th week starting to fix my walk after of several weeks of limping.
Do you have videos on information about medial meniscus tears explaining the symptoms etc? Thanks
Here's our Meniscus Tear Playlist. Hope you find it useful! ua-cam.com/play/PLkRW4ITRa6bBoSPVCyM1kNZLpKVjITvYK.html
Would you please also discuss Bone Marrow edema injury? I think the pain can be easily diagnosed as meniscus tears but surprisingly, it is different. Thank you in advance!😊
You're correct - the pain can feel very similar. I've added it to the list.
Yes please. I have been suffering with bone edema in ankle. Been 15 months now.
What do you recommend after meniscus surgery for returning to sports?
It depends - if your rehab has gone well and your physio is confident that you're able to do all the moves without issue, you may not need a brace. But if you still want some support, I would go for a soft one like this geni.us/sCjsdoS
Does a partial medial meniscus root tear need a brace? If so, which type would work best, please?
Hinged brace for serious
Soft brace for less serious
It really depends on how unstable your knee feels. In most cases the soft braces are enough - I might go for a soft one with some supports on the sides. Like one of these: Dr. Brace: geni.us/tL7A2fm
What about an osteotomy operation? What type of knee brace should I use? I still get some swollen sometimes.
It is likely best to check with your doctor what they think is best - they may have a very specific brace that they find is best. You might benefit from an unloader but only if the osteotomy is in a specific area.
Hii I am runner. I have medical meniscus injury about 2 months before . I had watch your physiotherapy video . I feel good now for walking and running. But my question is can I run with miniscus tear. Please guide me. I am very nervous about it .
It is usually OK to ease back into running once you've completed your rehab and your physio has told you that your knee has recovered enough to do so.
