A first, proper deep-dive into a very particular topic! Ghouls, the Vampire's vile retainers. What role do they have? What powers can they wield? What are the limits to Ghouldom? And what is the worst, most depraved kind of Ghouldom? This story takes place just before H:TP Chapter 4, and will perhaps give some more context to inform it. H:TP Chapter 5 is still in the works, and has made big progress! And, REALLY sorry about NWG EP1, the vacation season and massive technical issues caused it to delay immensely. Maybe the reason Big D is personally tutoring kitten is because he sees himself in kitten before Big D was heavily burdened by his experiences of being a hunter that fought against many supernaturals. Kitten has just fought vampires while Big D is very experienced against many creatures that should have been fataly dangerous to face even once all the while losing loved ones in his many years protecting mortals. Kitten might be his chosen heir not only as a hunter but as protector of his family.
Kitten just has yet to be hardened by experience. We shall see if he can cling to his humanity once he sees the horrifying things vampires do to normal people

What strikes me as powerful is how effectively this audiolog recontextualizes much of what I found almost off about Kitten's behaviour in the Sanctuary raid. D's dedication to the destruction of the ghoul creatures here serves as concern for Kitten when he goes off alone, worried D is going to torture Elise (And considering the omelette, it wouldn't be out of his wheelhouse.) And Kitten's own downright hostile frustration with Grimal... He's distracted. Focused solely on Markus, frustrated with the scale of danger his partner is in, and rocked off his foundation by the implications of *far* greater powers at work than he can comprehend. It makes Grimal trying to reach out to him in the ways they used to come off as harmful to his work. Put another way... Kitten's overwhelmed. So much so he's confiding in the help rather than any of his colleagues for fear they might be the traitorous Ghoul.

I like how you can see a glimmer of the fact big D respects some vampires, when he talks about how some refuse to blood bound their ghouls out of principle .
I feel like he doesn't consider all of them to just be inherently evil. Like Kevin some of them are just victims and then spiral into being monsters as they lose all support.
It has been made abundantly clear that big D believes in humanity above all else and with the interrogation of Kevin it seems he doesn’t mean just being human in body but more in mind as while Kevin is a vampire he truly believes that he can regain his humanity and join them.
I mean, if you could get humanity and vampires to coexist in open society around the world, it would be a huge benefit. Consider Pyotr's old job. An underwater welder. Imagine having Vampiric strength to resist water pressure and to hold metal steady.
Having gone through the entire audio-log, its insane to me how so much of this just, naturally adds up in all sorts of different rad ways. The house's layout, for one, being coolly laid out. The slow search for the ghoul and how each lesson quietly ties more into the mystery. How D's explanations and attitude line up perfectly on why episode 4 was laid out the way it was. And of course, finally a deeper look into Markus and why he's been info-starved. With Markus being probably my favorite character of the family? It makes me only more excited to see whats next for him and the rest. Keep up the great work!!
I'd love like a first person point and click game based around Hunter the parenting i don't know why but watching D and kitten walking around that is pretty fun
As someone with a decent knowledge of the World of Darkness, Big-D's description of the 'True Depths of Evil' is obviously talking about the Tzimisce and the acts of utter inhumanity they perform on the regular. I knew how bad they were but D's descriptions of the things they do to people makes it far more striking. Props to SpeakerD for the superb acting. Also, R.I.P. Kitten's Scones. @@fluffycyborgs well, no. It cost him 99 pounds. it came from the 99 Pound store after all. But we will only know if it was worth the great and terrible cost, once he's been made to pay it..
In no particular order I'm going to go over a few of the horrors Big D mentioned in the True Evil section. The first and most obvious is the work of the Tzimice. They are called the fiends and often the most inhuman of vampires. Their signature skill is Vicissitude. It basically makes them all jacked up versions of Mahito from Jujutsu Kaizen being able to form entire structures and cathedrals from molding and melding living creatures together. They can even be more fine in their touch than Mahito and their victims, God help us, don't perish shortly after being twisted. Next are the blood brothers/sisters where the vampires embrace a group of people but also perform a ritual destroying their individuality and making them one mind utterly loyal to their sires. They are connected and can become one being or send parts of their own bodies to others in their group. There are also the gargoyles made through Thaumaturgy by creating servitors and soldiers by turning and slicing together multiple kindred then binding them to masters or their master's stronghold. It goes on but Big D. is right. It gets so, so, so, much worse.
honeslty makes me wonder why the other vamperis ahven't extemrinated them. they sound like ienvitable breeches. imagine if they take too many people making a catherdral and it draw attention and they find something that makes john carpenter THING look like a functional life form.
@@taddad2641 I need to double check but in most cases, the reasons vampires dont try to remove the most vile versions of themselfs is very simple in most cases: - They view human as cattle, so why should they care? Aslong the masquerade isnt broken, its usually fine. - Sometimes trying to remove a group just leads to more problems and most vampires clans are alot better at navigating the modern world then others and can easly make the attacker look like their breaking the masquerade. Theres likely other reasons going on but I could be mistaken on alot.
I love the callback to the first audiolog which was about preparing kitten for the interrogation and now it’s about preparing kitten to find the ghoul.
It's definitely a good way to include the audience since of the family kitten knows the least out of everyone besides boy so we feel connected to the story through his ignorance.
Sad to say any creature can grow less phobic of anything it survives three times or more. No matter how actually deadly. There's alot to be said for the realisation that you are not your brain, you're allowed to know how brains react and treat yourself better in knowing the limits. Never fall prey to the stigma of social ignorance. I hope for the best, no matter how tricky to pull off irl.
Anyone else have the feeling that Krakus's screaming, ditch digging, gunfire, etc throughout these episodes is going to be significant at some point? I wouldn't be surprised if he's being attacked regularly or something.
"True Depths of Evil" As someone who's played as an archetypal Tzimisce both as a player and a Storyteller, I knew exactly where this one was going, and boy does Big D describe the horrors of the fleshcrafters flawlessly.
Yeah, Tzimisce are up there when it comes to being just wreatchedly vile, especially considering their clan's culture of fully embracing the inhumanity of vampirism.
@@XanKreigor I once had a small Sabbat group of Tzimisce who literally just LARPed as Cenobites an ran around torturing people. This was amusing because this was a game of Demon, and our Scourge didn't take too kindly to them mucking about and perverting the flesh of creatures they helped shape. Needless to say they were almost all wiped out, and the last survivor literally had a change of heart upon seeing what he (semi-correctly) thought was an agent of God sent to punish them for their wrongs.
Ok. So Markus is a mage, and he accidentally summoned either a malfean or worst, the wyrm, when he was a kid. No wonder he gets beaten all the time, he is still paying his debt to the paradox.
Markus's power being tied to the Wyrm makes sense with the bar scene. It wasn't sheer coincidence that blacklaw's drink was expired. Markus subconsciously wills it with the wyrm's power of decay.
D completely dodged the suggestion of anything about Horse, and spoke carefully until the conversation topic had shifted. He knows _something._ That's comforting.
I mean if he's a mage. Horse is almost certainly his familar. As What horse has done is 100% within the realm of a Mage Familar. Plus Big D mentioned making a "Deal" With him in the episode about horse. And seems to treat horse with an immense amount of genuine respect. Which is very important for a mage to do for their familar. A mage with an unloyal familar is a mage who won't survive for very long.
So I looked it up and Big D was not bullshitting about the wrestling thing. Apparently in classic WoD there's a wrestling federation that's just vampires like. It's just vampires and the masquerade doesn't exist because they have the plausible deniability of kayfabe. i am so fucking mad (affecionate)
SpeakerD, holy crap. You pulled genuine pathos out of the sideshow that is Big D and stayed inside his characterization to do it. Alfabusa et al, I was moved to find out this big brass section of a man was a truly caring parent, not just an absurdly successful(immortal?)Hunter nutjob.
With how…passionately enraged Sir D is listing the many different ways the world of darkness can mold the body and soul to torturous depths, it’s a brimming example of why there are no “Retired Hunters”. Only ones who have either died in the hunt, or passed on with the passage of time.
Funnily enough, in the old pre-5E Hunter books there was an explicit mechanic that let your PC go out in a blaze of glory. In fact, the max level/endgame Edges were basically "Talk With Your Storyteller Before You Buy This So They Can Implement It Into The Story Better. Also You'll Probably Fucking Die After Using This" story-breaking powers that 99.9% of the time ended with the PC removed from play.
"fear the old in a career where men die young" is possibly the best quote for hunters for that exact reason lol if you're a vamp and you see a hunter with grey hair you are probably fucked

I am not even 5 minutes in, and I'm already beyond touched that D straight-up vows to protect Kitten as long as he's under this roof, after admitting that being a hunter's not a comforting life. That's what real family does for each other.
This gives such insight into both Big D and Markus. For a while we have been wondering why Big D has been keeping secrets from Markus and this explains perfectly why he HAS to keep things away from him. Markus is smart, but nearly as smart as he thinks he is. And he is proud. That is a deadly combination. He wants to use tactics and tricks that show off how clever he is even if they impractical or have huge drawbacks. Hence the stakejacket example that Big D gave. Dorn immidiatly pointed out the obvious issues of the stake jacket and that a gun would be way better. But Markus doubled down and insisted that it was a good idea despite being beaten to a pulp. I can totally see Markus experimenting with Vitae or even magics in attempt to gain an edge despite how obviously the risks out weigh the rewards because he's convinced that he that he'd be the one who could figure it out. If you tried to explain the dangers to him he'd insist that it wont haplen to him. That the only reason the countless others who tried before him failed was because they werent as smart as he was. Hed be the mathematician who goes to the casino convinced that he will beat the casino because he's got a 'system'. The next thing you know he blew 50k at the black jack table. Markus cannot know about these things. He cant be trusted. And the best way to keep him safe is not to let him know.
Not unless he saw someone he genuinely respects as pretty much an equal or even superior to him in intelligence and integrity be exposed as a ghoul themself, and that they too had the hubris to believe they could master ghouldom, only to ultimately fail miserably and become truly damned and wretched.
Yep. I mean just think about the episode where Pyotr broke free. He immediately thinks to get outside since pyotr is an ambush predator, a good idea on paper, but then immediately and without any forethought, jumps from a two story windows and shatters his ankles. Frankly, if pyotr didn't want to embrace them, Markus could have easily died that night. He has hubris aplenty, and that can definitely damn him, most likely literally considering what he contacted.
@@Logamer-tn6db I'm glad you brought up the window incident because it perfectly shows how his impulsivity and tendency to get tunnel vision gets in the way of his intelligence and his ability to think ahead. Like Markus, you live there. You know that its a straight drop down. What did you think was going to happen? Unless you're a trained acrobat who knows who to fall, you are going to break an ankle at best. Also let's say you do get outside, what was going to be the plan then? You're outside at night in the country side where you have way less cover from Pyotr and all you're weapons are inside the house. At least inside you could hunker down and make a Killzone forcing him to walk into a barrage of bullets or leave before the sun comes up. But out there he has even more angles to come at you. He gets so caught up in his first idea and is so convinced that its gold that he doesn't pause to think it through.
I know this has been said ad infinitum, but I want to bring up the team's incredible narration and dialog skills. It is truly inspirational how your stories go from lighthearted to harrowing in a moments notice without feeling the least forced about it. While I'm aware the setting helps with it, your way of tackling it is superb. I really enjoy these stories you make and hope to see more of them as I can feel the great passion you put behind each entry. Kudos!
Markus being chosen by the Wyrm explains how his destined rivalry with the HTS version of Leman will come about. The Wyrm is the ultimate enemy of every Werewolf.
There's some potential there but iirc the characters in HTP are quoted to be their own unique characters Yes the case of them being successors to who we knew in TTS is bavkable in A LOT of ways but I just recall hearing that statement a while back

Speak for your own pack friend. The world fell to it's current state because of an abundance of the Weaver, not the Wyrm. For life to thrive there must be both growth and decay. Life and Death. Chaos and Order. We need both forces, Weaver and Wyrm to achieve some semblance of equilibrium if Gaia is to be revived. Are we capable of doing that still in our weekend state? Unclear. But the only path forward is to let not just humans know of the true struggle but to rally with agents of both the Wyrm and the Weaver so we may form a united front. A world where just one sides win is the end of all things.
That's actually a very interesting contrast The Emperor witheld information from Magnus because he didn't care Big D witholds information from Markus because he cares too much There's something poetic in that
@whiteeye3453 Handing out grand edicts and acting like a warlord instead of a father is not working to curb the arrogance of his sons/tools, it's working around it to achieve his own goals despite them.
1:30:14 god I love how raw D went with this. The insanity gone and just what seems like utter dread at the knowledge of what knows, and is waiting for Markus
I love the new format used here. The text boxes are amazing, easy to read, and remind me of a visual novel / video game. Also, the addition of having the camera 'follow' the characters around, showcasing the house in a more 3D aspect, is very cool.
I have genuinely been rewatching everything HTP for like 3 weeks straight since my breakup and it kept me going. This actually made me smile for the first time in ages because I have been religiously checking whether there was a new upload
Big-D talking about Horse mercing a ghoul and eating it if it’s made of plant, but given that horses eat lizards like chocolate bars and baby birds like popcorn do y’all really think he’s wouldn’t eat a ghoul-rat or thirty?
"Look at these beasts. Abnormal, spindly legs. Balding, spotty hide. Curved, abnormal backs. Ears like skin flaps, eyes too big for their skull, snaggled teeth, and this constant nervous shivering - when not snout deep, lapping at that accursed spill!" Hate to break it to you, Sir D, but thats just a straight-up Italian Greyhound. I would me willing to accept the snaggled teeth coming from Ape, but dental issues are also typical among small dogs. If they are the size of a standard greyhound, that's definitely from him - but I don't think you would mistake it for a rat in that case.
You know, my personal theory on D is that he's just a regular man, no changeling or Mage or anything. That his eccentricities are simply the result of an ordinary person seeing, doing and simply SURVIVING more than a person was ever meant to. And his whole speech in the True Depths of Evil section is making me more convinced of that reality than ever. If anything, at this point I think turning out to be something more than an ordinary man would be to the detriment of his character.
I think he's imbued because it makes the most sense, it's not like hes any less than a normal man, but it would cover why he's been around for so long.
I definitely think there's at least something supernatural going on with D. He's always managed to get conveniently taken out of the equation in fights. Our only real feat we've seen of his strength is that he is capable of ripping a car battery in half with his bare hands.
11:28 I work in the ER and once had a patient who was in a fight and bitten on the hand so deeply that the other guy tore out a chunk of flesh. The patient, upset by this, "Injected crack into the wound, as well as into his elbow when his arm began swelling and changing color."
@@GlareanLiebertine Considering the fighting (tells us who he associates with), the grievous wound and crack addiction, he was likely so out of touch with reality that he probably did believe that it would help in some way. Speaking of the Club Head and Ground Keeper, I made a fun discovery about a month ago. Turns out the mini golf place on the drive up to our family cabin in MN is Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf, exact same name as the one in HtP. I checked their website, and while they don't have a location in Britain, they do have one in Massachusetts. South YARMOUTH Massachusetts. If i ever stop at the location in Brainerd, I'll ask them for the story behind the water
I like when Big D and Kitten talk about the supernatural things of World of Darkness. This helps introduce new fans to the franchise just like how TTS helped introduce new fans to Warhammer 40K.
Also, in 40k lore, Emperor is rather confusing and his morality and actions could do better with explainations, rather than either a POV of other characters or Aaron Dembski Bowden being himself. Big D on the other hand is actualy genuinely good, hillarious, tragic and caring man, whom while we never saw beat a vampire so far, doesnt mean he is incapable, as he has knowledge of most creatures, family history with a lot of people, and most of all, compassion with those that lost humanity. Big E was always like "Humanity good, everyone whom doesnt follow my principles sucks", but Big D is seen to have compasion and understanding, we see this when he talks to Kevin, and feel how genuine he is. Big D, despite having utter hatred for Vampires, also wants to help them restore their humanity, make a world where they can coexist and not have to fight one another for any reason. And in a twisted world with creatures beyond the scope of imagination, having someone look into the abyss and scream from top of his lungs "Come and kill me, I yearn for this" expecting either a worthy death, or Triumpfantly standing over the carcass of the void, is beyond refreshing
This might have been one of the best HTP episodes to date. Loads of backstory, helping us better understand Marcus and BiG-D´s inner workings. The voice acting by SpeakerD was fucking amazing. Stellar job, lads. Stellar job.
I have never felt as connected to a fictional character as D blanking on the name 'cordyceps'. I struggled on that string of letters for literal years of my life!
I found it very ominous (although unintentional) that the track that plays when "This makes me want to-" "Do more?" is called *More Than We May Ever Know*, as if Kitten may in fact do more than we may ever know by the time this is done.
@@bthsr7113 I was about to say "No. That rate of fire is much too high." Then upon investigation I noticed it was the sound of either two lower ROF guns(which would fit the Goose's armaments but doesn't fit the sound) or an MG-3 AND something with a fire rate closer to an M-60 or M249. On balance I still lean towards it being an MG-3 with a second automatic getting involved. However it's possible Door has the altered the firing rate of the M-60s also. At the end of certain bursts you can hear the second gun with it's slower rate. I cannot tell with certainty if it's Kräkus returning fire.
God...daaaaaamn....the emotional delivery on D... I started tearing up at 2 different points. If only Markus could witness seeing him so worried for him. Ok so the story takes place in 2006. Markus was 12 in 1988. This means Markus is 30 years old. Meaning the Clown Party happend earlier that year. Neat!
Oh jesus wept. Markus made contact with an OTHER? No wonder Big D wants to start him out with the dirt. Hell that whole thing explains Big D's EXTREMELY VARIABLE AND EXCITABLE ATTENTION!!! Nothing walks away from an *Other* in it's true state with any kind of sanity intact.

@@taddad2641 I need to double check but in most cases, the reasons vampires dont try to remove the most vile versions of themselfs is very simple in most cases:
- They view human as cattle, so why should they care? Aslong the masquerade isnt broken, its usually fine.
- Sometimes trying to remove a group just leads to more problems and most vampires clans are alot better at navigating the modern world then others and can easly make the attacker look like their breaking the masquerade.
Theres likely other reasons going on but I could be mistaken on alot.

Especially with what we find out later.

Idk if it's the Wyrm, it might be the Abyss. Like, the one Abyss, the Grandmother

If i ever stop at the location in Brainerd, I'll ask them for the story behind the water
Its call Brainerd?!!! like brain-nerd?.
@@manuelescuderoberdino3470 It's pronounced more like brain-erd, but yeah. Not like you'll find a ton of brains there anyway
@@Bgh583 Paradox isn't one for silken gloves though.
This is a Ghoulish video
“Imagine giving a gorilla the powers of a double-gorilla”
God D never fails to entertain
"Imagine a WHALE!... i dunno how that'd work but just THINK about WHALES for a second!!!"
This might have been one of the best HTP episodes to date.
Loads of backstory, helping us better understand Marcus and BiG-D´s inner workings. The voice acting by SpeakerD was fucking amazing.
Stellar job, lads. Stellar job.
I only just realized the sound effect accompanying Kitten's questions is the Bloodlines' journal update sound. Nice.
Thanks, that was driving me crazy not remembering that.
I must admit, I find the fact that the release date of Team Fortress 2 is now a major plot point to be deeply funny
I have never felt as connected to a fictional character as D blanking on the name 'cordyceps'.
I struggled on that string of letters for literal years of my life!
"He made contact with something...other."
Tzeentch: *I'M ABOUT TO DOUBLE DIP THIS SHIT **_LET'S FUCKING GOOOO!!!!_*
Big D: Markus you fool! You’ve breached the bounds of copyright!
why did i hear that in tzeentch's voice fallowed by his skeletal like laugh.
I swear I could hear TTS Tzeentch laughing the whole time.
*gurgles mischeviously* (oh god why the fuck is it so horrifying)
I found it very ominous (although unintentional) that the track that plays when "This makes me want to-" "Do more?" is called *More Than We May Ever Know*, as if Kitten may in fact do more than we may ever know by the time this is done.
yeah I was watching the track names like a HAWK
"Things are starting to click"
Said as whoever's firing that mg-3 stops to reload. Nice.
probably door, now that im rewatching it.
Are we sure it wasn't an M-60? Door did mount a pair to the bus.
Jesus
God...daaaaaamn....the emotional delivery on D...
I started tearing up at 2 different points.
If only Markus could witness seeing him so worried for him.
I feel like if Markus was shown that scene
A few words and a hug would mend allot.
I mean, I was convinced D was prepared to unravel reality itself to protect Markus.
My hope is that with the cameras and mics in the basement Marcus might hear a recording of this conversation qt some point. Tho knowing this series it'll be far too late by then
@@TPaether well the Achilles heel in that is:in the interview with chapman, D confirmed that "markus does not record anything for posterity"
So unfortunately no recording would be saved, unless he changed that at some point.
The part that hit most strongly for me is hearing the conclusion to the tale of Rozalia.
It gave hope.
Good god, this one gave me genuine actual shivers. It felt like I was holding my breath for the last 20 minutes. Just the argument between two of my favorite characters (god they're all my favorite characters, aren't they?) and the clash between doing the right thing, and doing the *right* thing. 15/10 lads. spectacular work. I am vibrating.
Ok so the story takes place in 2006. Markus was 12 in 1988. This means Markus is 30 years old.
Meaning the Clown Party happend earlier that year.
Neat!
its always wierd to think kevin is the youngest member of the group outside of boy
Oh jesus wept.
Markus made contact with an OTHER? No wonder Big D wants to start him out with the dirt.
Hell that whole thing explains Big D's EXTREMELY VARIABLE AND EXCITABLE ATTENTION!!!
Nothing walks away from an *Other* in it's true state with any kind of sanity intact.
so what IS an other?
The warp
@@aaroncurley5117likely something similar to a Great Old One
@13legomania from quickly googling its an 'aeon' that represents the abyss
It's actually friendly but the abyss itself and the insanity it causes is what makes it dangerous
So definitely not that nerd Tzeentch
@@aaroncurley5117 Im taking this as some sort of lovecraftian horror creature, utterly indescribable and an encounter if you ever survive will leave you altered forever.

I hope Anton is ok...
oh you utter CAD.
"we will save them ALL"
*WELL AFTER RELEASING THE VIDEO QHERE GRAMPS GETS SHREDDED*
I just realized, if they order the playlist in terms of timeline, this'll have to be placed before that episode
from D's optimism in thinking he can save the ghoul to the cold hard reality that someone has to die
To be fair, it’s very likely that Fatigue was killed by a Garou, not the ghoul. So in this case, saving them all (from the ghoul and blood bond) is still in effect.
@@atpsoldat6108 to be even more fair: If even a single werewolf wanted to kill the acranum, it would be extremely easy for them. Sure, if you can outwit them you at least have a chance of getting out in one piece (approximately) but to actually defeat one? Even high ranking Vampires would consider that a tall order, not impossible, but extraordinarily dangerous
@@Kaarl_Mills Bear in mind that Fatigue was himself a hunter of the Fera. He may be dead, but he might have left some goodies laying around that someone could use to put down something as menacing as a werewolf.
@@rokkraljkolesa9317 Am I alone in thinking that makes the his reaction to seeing Fatigue's hit harder. That quiet "no", considering this takes place at best a couple days before that scene, and based on what we know Fatigue was someone D at the very least respected, possibly even considered a friend.
So basically, Markus is Anakin. I wonder how he feels about sand?
More like Magnus, extremely powerful and dangerously naive and cocky with his openness to dark powers.
@@quesocoatl21 On one hand, extremely accurate.
On the other hand, Anakin funny.
The better question is how does magnus feel about sand?
@@gatordragon6140 probably not great, since most of his sons got reduced to the stuff.
@@sirmemealot1839 now I just imagine Magnus on his knees ugly sobbing hysterically with sand falling through his fingers while Tzeentch is just like "Stop making a scene"
By the way Bruva your voice over of Big D was KILLER. The emotion you put into the character, specially when speaking about his kid is just perfect. Also the rest of course, I love the eccentric im-crazy-cos-i-know-too-much vibe you give him :D
A discussion comes before the battle commences
A king with a paper crown and a kitten discuses lore and knowledge, what wisdom and lore shall be useful like Chekov’s revolver.
Hey that crown is at LEAST cardboard. He got it at Burger King.
Mr. Smerples joining the family CONFIRMED
He found that forever home. Or its to keep kevin happy, because kevin genuinely is attached to mr smerples and his remaining humanity
Gotta say, the switch to a navigable 3D environment lends to the overall tone of this episode quite well. The buildup of suspense only to be paid off with such a chilling reveal.
Marckus... saw the Wyrm.
And the Wyrm saw Marckus.
That is extremely not good.
I mean... I'm pretty sure he's fucked. It's only a matter of time before it makes a move. And I don't know if knowing or NOT knowing what it is makes it more dangerous for him.
Doubt it was the wyrm. Probably the things the nephandhi worship
@@setsunatenma9467 Isn't that also the wyrm? I'm running my own mage game and from the naphandi book the worm and what they fall too seem pretty much like the same thing.
I thought this all was still paralleling Warhammer, and what Markas saw was the equivalent to the Great Hunger, or the Tyranids.
@@turidrowned It still seems like it when it comes to Magnus/Markus' fall. The entity he contacted (from what it seems like) is the equivalent to a chaos god (but rather than A it'd be the world of darkness' THE big bad called the wyrm) It functions as a mix of the nids and chaos where it embodies chaos entropy and destruction.

Anton (Big Ds "lost" son) - Angron (Big E's damned son). Calling it, Anton is damned...a demon is possessing Big D lost son's body.
Him being a slave to the fae is pretty Angron-esk as well
Anton wasn't lost, he's simply one of the sons we have yet to meet. The lost son's name was not mentioned, because it alone invokes incredible grief.

Assuming Anton is the son that was sent to the Fae, he’s probably still a thrall. I don’t know much about WoD, but I think there’s a big gap between demons and Fae. His name is probably just to be an allusion to Angron, being a son of D. Just a reference by having a character with a similar name and bloodline, not a complete copy. Again assuming Anton is the lost son.
