SC is my favorite game, that I don't play. : P
I’ve watched star citizen videos since i was a kid, I recently bought my first pc and with that my first ship. Pretty surreal. This ship reminds me of cowboy bebop for some reason.
I have a couple of those games. I really enjoy playing, um, I mean, watching people play them because my current computer isn’t top of the line.

Things have been a little bumpy as of late but they are slowly starting to finally hammer things out. 3.18 introduced a lot of new tech and as a result a lot of new glitches and bugs were introduced. They weren't able to get enough play testers to test the patch before went to the live servers. But they're slowly fixing it back up. So if you've been having extra trouble lately, fear not, it will not last forever. What ship did you get by the way?

Well I think the reason SC is as successful as it is is for one reason. When CIG actually makes something they do it right. The biggest problem with that is that we have to wait for it.

I really hope 3rd person gets removed from the game at some point. i hate having to use it to land big ships in hangers i can't believe we actually had holographic landing cameras at one point in time but they got removed and never came back.

I think the biggest unreleased ship (for players) is the Javelin. Course its not flyable yet, and when it is Ollie already has one from referrals.
never in any star citizen video have i seen a ship actually passing through a planet's atmosphere. It's always on land or in space. I don't play but I understand that happens and I've never seen it
Watch a stream I guess. It's normal for those of us who play star citizen, seamless travel everywhere, no loading screens. Or watch a full youtube video and not just a short. For example the new StarEngine video gives you a great demonstration of all the base tech in one run.

Wow, you can almost kind of technically fly that🐦 after ... a decade of development. Only another decade and a half before we're flying Bengals.
Took half a decade to develop World of Warcraft, and you can't compare the scale and the technical level between the two.

Then again Starfield is coming out this year and began development around the same time as Star Citizen. Then again, Starfield is a Bethesda game, it will likely freeze or crash the universe--our universe to desktop.

@@heavensophia9382 Starfield is also nothing compared to the scale of Star Citizen and it's single player not an MMO. You would be better to compare it to Squadron 42, the single player campaign that CIG is working on.
Idris is locked behind Squadron 42, it won’t release or get updated in the PU until Squadron 42 comes out

Unreleased means CIG didnt reach the point where they need to cash in on Idris. They still have fully packed hype train to raill through you.
It means it's unfinished. They already cashed in on the F8 that they supposedly weren't going to sell, to meet sales targets for the year.

When the ship really comes in with SQ42 release you won't be able to fly and do everything on your own. By that point, glitching in and stealing a player one will probably also have big repercussions. Now it's "fun", later glitching into ships and bases is on the same level as real cheating for a proper MMO. If you want something, play the game properly. There will be "normal" and allowed ways to steal stuff.
