Agreed, this is what the castle should have ended up looking like. Honestly I like how you can build in fallout 4 and I hope they bring it back in fallout 5 but I also feel like the npcs should also do some restoration even if it takes much longer then when players just pull everything out of their ass.
This series feels like how the Minutemen questline was always meant to be played, it’s just the base game systems were too limiting to really let people stretch their creative muscles and *actually* build full functioning settlements. The dream of rebuilding the wasteland is alive, excellent work

Syncing your building placements to the music is honestly so satisfying. Looks like a very organic build as well, like it was already in the game, not player-built. I love what you did with The Castle! In my playthrough, my philosophy when rebuilding the castle was to have a bunch of typically smaller yet more vertical buildings that were crammed together within the walls themselves (though of course leaving space for the pre-existing paved paths), in an attempt to maximize density to have it feel like a proper settlement rather than _just_ an HQ. It had a bit of a shantytown look to it.
I mean Fallout 4 isn't a roleplaying game in the first place which is why its hardly a Fallout at all so why should you roleplay in a game not made for it with no roleplay in mind?

@@elite_enfield34 In my most recent playthrough's build of Dalton Farm, I set up a little railcar-hut Minutemen station, that housed three "Minutemen" who were settlers I brought from the Commonwealth and equipped with Minutemen gear.

Truly beautiful. I love your style of building it's lore friendly and fits in with the game, many people build structures that don't fit or look too well put together for the wasteland but you know how to make it work. Amazing! I've always wanted to do a huge castle build, but my PC can't really handle it after a while. I wanted to have it so inside and on the walls is the military base while the courtyard is a VERY well guarded shop/trading area and outside the walls is a more residental area with a docks around the back for water purifiers, fishing areas and boats that take you to Spectacle Island, The lighthouse and Far Harbour. Next time I try and tackle the castle I will undoubtable come back to this video (and your other episodes) for inspiration!
I feel that the more "well put together" builds would fit a more civically minded General, They are from the pre-war after all, if they know what they're doing they can make some rather sturdy settlements.
When I played this years ago, I spent nearly the entire time building large, lived in settlements; but I never build anything THIS grand. Simply extraordinary! Well done.

In the (almost) decade that fallout 4 has been out, this is one the best series of fallout I've seen. I love lore, I love building and I love lore-friendly building. The thought process is incredible, the editing is fantastic and I would love to see how you approach other survival building games or city builders!

Have just found these videos, and your channel, I gotta say that your editing have vastly improved over the course of this series, as has your building if I'm honest. I like that while the building of the settlement id the main point of the video, you still include other aspect of Fallout 4's gameplay, as well as adding your own story to the commonwealth. I really like how snappy you edit combat, it reminds me of how Project Zomboid YTber's edit their combat, which I am a huge fan of. Looking forward to the next episode of this series, keep it up man.

Amazing series so far! I can't wait to see what more you do! It'd be really cool if you eventually did something special for every settlement. Places like Spectacle Island could become whole cities while smaller settlements like Tenpines could be specialized buildings/waypoints. I remember in my last Fallout 4 playthrough I turned Tenpines into a Tavern/Inn type of place for travelers.

I like how you incorporate lore accurate available resources into your builds. I think the same thing too and always think about how they have thicket excavations in the north of the map, and prefer to build using that style of stone where I can.

great video, really liked the cuts that allign with the background music, but the details you put into the settlement where astounding.
Amazing series so far! I can't wait to see what more you do! It'd be really cool if you eventually did something special for every settlement. Places like Spectacle Island could become whole cities while smaller settlements like Tenpines could be specialized buildings/waypoints. I remember in my last Fallout 4 playthrough I turned Tenpines into a Tavern/Inn type of place for travelers.

I like how you incorporate lore accurate available resources into your builds. I think the same thing too and always think about how they have thicket excavations in the north of the map, and prefer to build using that style of stone where I can.
