This is a childhood favourite for me. As a kid, I didn't enjoy eating meat very much but I still loved this dish because of the buns. They are lightly sweetened, fluffy but in a bouncy kind of way. Now I appreciate the melt-in-your mouth pork belly so much more, especially the way the rice coating soaks up all the delicious flavour. It is not the quickest dish, but they freeze well and a guaranteed crowd pleaser for future potlucks :) Save it to your cooking recipe arsenals and get ready for the "OMG's"! :P Happy eating and as usual, I love to see your cooking pictures. Ingredients:
Pork belly 350g
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Sugar 1/2 tbsp
cooking wine 1tbsp
white pepper 1/2 tsp
five spice 1/4tsp
salt 1/4tsp
dark soy sauce 1stp
1 cup of rice
1tbsp of szichuan peppercorn
all purpose flour 1 cup
corn starch 1/4 cup
dry yeast 1/2tsp
baking powder 1/4tsp
sugar 1tbsp

Is there another way of cooking the pork instead of using pressure cooker?
you could use a steamer! But it will take a long time :p just make sure you have enough water with the meat and also in the pot. You'll know its done when the meat is tender. Might take 2 hours haha

I haven't tried that, but I think it's possible! Just keep an eye on them so they don't burn :)

just normal rice is fine! : ) But maybe you can try it with glutinous rice, I've never done it haha. I feel like it'd be a different texture, and might take longer to cook? But could work!
