How to Fix American Standard Toilet Leak | Replace Flush Valve and Fill valve

When the toilet flush valve of the toilet fill valve have issues, replacing them can be an effective toilet repair. We had an American Standard Toilet with a leak in the flush valve. The result was the toilet tank would slowly lose water.
Calling American Standard was a pleasant surprise when they said that their American Standard toilet came with a lifetime warranty. That means all the toilet internals were covered. Once we gave them the serial number found on the inside of the toilet tank, American Standard had everything they needed to send us out all the replacement parts - a new flush valve, new fill valve, gaskets, and even new toilet nuts and bolts for the toilet. The savings was likely somewhere between $35-$60 and the customer service from American Standard was also top notch!

My home has two of them that work flawlessly and have reduced my water usage by a significant amount. Most people that bash AS expect them to work like their 35 year old toilets of the past, not going to happen. They work on a different technology altogether. Add to that the lifetime warranty HouseBarons explained along with good customer support he got from them. What other manufacture is doing that? Perhaps you have an installation problem.
