First time on your channel. Just curious, is the desk clock in the background a LeCoultre? My brother had two at some point, and they were beautiful!! One of them, he had completely refurbished. Sadly, he doesn’t have them anymore. They were true pieces of art.
I am wearing my OP 41 in Green today and I think it is an excellent buy for the money. I could sell it for way more than it cost new which makes it even better lol.

Please mention the cost of the watches especially because of the entry level nature. Doesn’t matter if we can afford them or not - thanks for the video!!
As a diver........ no watch with a 100 meters of WR can be called a diver. Yes yes! You may say, “hey, Divers use computers...”. I don’t care, a diver should have at least 200 meters to be called a diver
mountainhobo most watches rated at specific depths don’t actually rate to that. Example, 30 meters of WR is 90 feet technically. Now I know that Several people have discussed that 30 meters doesn’t actually mean that. Most wouldn’t swim in a watch rated below 50 meters. Now we can talk about pressures and atmospheres, but 100 meters would be fine for snorkeling or free diving, but if I were to go below 80 feet, I want at least 200 meters. There are plenty of videos explaining this stuff
Well Fed did say it was a tribute to a 1965 model when dive watches were rated to 100 m. That said, it should have been updated to the modern minimum of 200 m.
Now it’s “Oystersteel.” To be honest Rolex made this marketing change way too late. They should’ve never mentioned 904L so that counterfeiters would’ve never known what grade of steel Rolex uses.
This is a great video. None of which I disagree. Though I'd maybe mention some more like the Breguet Marine 5817, Blancpain Bathyscape 38mm, GO Senator hand date...
Great video! Thanks for sharing your experience and insight. It's nice to see someone with confidence in their opinions, rather than parroting the worship of two or three specific models (let alone brands).
Nice video Fed. I love my electric blue wave dial seamaster, which isn't made anymore, l never thought of it as an entry level though. Bought on ebay, about 15 years ago, $1300. Dude got it as a present but wanted a big screen tv instead and sold it to me, came from tourneu.
When the video first started I thought to myself one of the best entry watches that have the DNA of the more expensive lines would be the same brand you started with the JLC Master Control date but I am not a fan of the Sector dial I would rather opt for the applied markers, but I guess to save a few hundred bucks you can go with the Sector dial.
Speaking of my seamaster, like l said, I've had it since 2005 and I've never had it serviced, because it's never not worked properly. My question is, if it runs good and never been opened, should l go ahead and get it serviced?
So that specific blue model has an 8 year waiting list in new york and similar in other countries, entry price is around 25,000 USD but the after market is around 35,000 USD and going. The company only made 774 watches in 2017 and a few hundred of these models, and even less for the blue model making this an exclusive entry level watch.
I love the Tag Aquaracer. Absolutely think IMO it LOOKS nicer than the Tudor BB and matches the Seamaster. I just really wish people respected the brand more..

What would you recommend Oris vs Longines on a enter level ? I like the Conquest diver but have looked at the Aquis as well. The Longines diver is a bit cheaper.
I appreciate the information because I feel like I got a great intro to entry level quality watches. However, I think based on income, entry level can mean a lot to a significant wide range of viewers. In the end I guess $100 watch $5k or 20k they all tell time? How much ur willing to pay to have a quality piece is entirely up too you?.....enjoyed the vid

Federico and how about the Longines legend diver?
Bought a Timex easy read with indiglo for $26.00 a couple days ago.
I'm happy.
When I ran a search for Tissot reviews this video was suggested but you only used the Tissot brand as a comparison 🤔
This video inspired me so much
What’s up with the Rolex wall clock? Doesn’t appear to be working.
how about a Breguet "7147 vs 5177" in exact same spec white gold white dial? which would you prefer and why?
Excellent choices Fed. The JLC takes it for me, perhaps just about attainable but the Lange is still way too much.
As a diver........ no watch with a 100 meters of WR can be called a diver. Yes yes! You may say, “hey, Divers use computers...”. I don’t care, a diver should have at least 200 meters to be called a diver
I agree on principle. Curiously, ISO Diving certification only required 100m WR to meet certification, so technically it’s possible.
"a diver should have at least 200 meters to be called a diver" -- Why?
mountainhobo most watches rated at specific depths don’t actually rate to that.
Federico
Thank you for all the great videos .
Would it be the same for men's and women's entry level. Looking for a grad present in May or June?
I just found your channel and I love it great job.
4:23 "914L stainless steel" since when is it "914L" and not 904L ??
Now it’s “Oystersteel.” To be honest Rolex made this marketing change way too late. They should’ve never mentioned 904L so that counterfeiters would’ve never known what grade of steel Rolex uses.
This is a great video. None of which I disagree. Though I'd maybe mention some more like the Breguet Marine 5817, Blancpain Bathyscape 38mm, GO Senator hand date...
Entry level watch maker that a lot don’t know about is Raymond Weil. They are the only family owned and operated in Geneve, Switzerland
Great video! Thanks for sharing your experience and insight. It's nice to see someone with confidence in their opinions, rather than parroting the worship of two or three specific models (let alone brands).
Nice review👍
Just recently started watching you. Enjoy your chats. What do you think about “Tufina” brand watches?
Nice video Fed. I love my electric blue wave dial seamaster, which isn't made anymore, l never thought of it as an entry level though. Bought on ebay, about 15 years ago, $1300. Dude got it as a present but wanted a big screen tv instead and sold it to me, came from tourneu.
Great video! One of the best on the channel. Thanks for your suggestions! For Omega I thought you would have mentioned the Deville line.
Harold Sawyer Jr if you’re car runs fine should you keep on driving it?
How much is the AP Journe watch mentioned here? Did I miss that price quote?
So that specific blue model has an 8 year waiting list in new york and similar in other countries, entry price is around 25,000 USD but the after market is around 35,000 USD and going. The company only made 774 watches in 2017 and a few hundred of these models, and even less for the blue model making this an exclusive entry level watch.

I love the Tag Aquaracer. Absolutely think IMO it LOOKS nicer than the Tudor BB and matches the Seamaster. I just really wish people respected the brand more..
I have a 2005 Aquaracer automatic that looks like an AP RO homage. I didn't know about AP back then, but I know why I still like both.
Consider looking at Sea-gull, the quality of the finishing and their value for money makes them difficult to ignore...
omar10213245 CCP watch, therefore no go for me.
Great video Fed, would love the JLC and I think the Oris will be a next purchase for us!
You will be very disapointed with Oris if you are a JLC fan. Oris is no better in quality than Tissot, Citizen or Rotary. Immensely overpriced for no apparent reason.
Can you talk about rado watch why not popular in us
Just wondering why you have never reviewed Revue Thommen, will you be doing that soon? Your thoughts on the brand? Seems high quality. Thanks.
I’m looking to buy a Fluted Bezel for a 116234 watch. Just the bezel. I have the watch. I am only interested in Authentic Rolex Fluted Bezel. No aftermarket
well, entry level cars that are fun to drive
1) ferrari
2) aston martin
3) lamborghini (not so fun)
Managed do you think of Mathey Tissot?
Cool video idea Fed, really enjoyed
Hi love your videos,i honestly love watches and before i spend almost all money into watches i bought Rado,Tissots,Seikos,Mido,Zodiac,Omegas,Tag Heur,Rolexes,Cartier,Chopard,Hamilton,Zenith,Longines and Oris, recently i saw a Vintage Pattek for a good price,so i would love to go into Vintage Watches, somme how they are more elegant they are not over 40 mm and if you put sapphire cristal and you do a maintenance they are just spectacular, sommehow they have more soul what do you think about vintage watches???
What would you recommend Oris vs Longines on a enter level ? I like the Conquest diver but have looked at the Aquis as well. The Longines diver is a bit cheaper.
Hey Fed, what do you feel about the Polaris as opposed to the Master? Similar price point, and definitely sportier. Debating on a JLC.
Gorgeous beautiful watches mate.
