What do you eat and drink to manage stable blood sugar levels while running 26.2 miles? I ran as part of a thirty person team for Beyond Type Run during the 2019 NYC Marathon. This video shares exactly what I ate and drank to keep stable blood sugars.

Wow. I am so glad I stumbled upon this video! I am a 22 year old Type 1 Diabetic (diagnosed age 6) and just started running a couple days ago. I can only make it a mile max right now but this was so so inspiring to me! My first goal is to run a 5k this spring and then hopefully longer ones in the future. Having Type 1 can be so challenging even just running a mile for me so to see you run a marathon with it was so encouraging! You truly showed that there isn’t anything a type 1 can’t do! Congratulations!! Loved the video.

Still can't believe you ran a marathon and that I finally caught you. You were moving so fast - all those avocados. 🥑🍌🥕 Such an insightful video

Having GoPro footage of that final too many miles in Central Park would be incredible. It's this tunnel of fans and friends. Let's make a vow to stick to 1/2 marathons though?!

It can be quite emotional to realise you have achieved something without a low causing some sort of stoppage or pause. I remember being quite tearful when I started Looping as it was able to predict and stop 80% of my low’s during most physical activity. I guess what I am saying is your not alone.
