This is offensive to Benihana. You should be using day old rice. Eggs were over cooked. BURNT. The onions could have been chopped more finely. There was way to much butter. The butter is usually infused with the soy sauce and the a few drops of toasted sesame seed oil. Love the griddle.

Eggs are way over cooked. Add some fish sauce with the soy sauce and use oil to cook instead of garlic butter, garlic butter is for flavor. Whatever garlic was in that butter is burnt to a crisp.

The eggs tho..probably could have been last or close to last...then again some peeps like overcooked eggs..I got the 36" blackstone..man you gotta get that one..its awesome for space which was probably the issue with yours. Good eats either way man!
That grease drain hole at the left bottom has been bothering me from the beginning of the video. No way anyone can make a decent fried rice with that thing ready to swallow anything that comes near. Blackstone should figure out something less bothersome.
in all actuallity..everything is lvl as long as you make sure your surface is lvl.. only thing that goes in is what you put in it..have a 17 inch that i use inside on top of stove,, use the stove vent..works very well
Why don’t you look at some of the other videos on how to cook fried rice. The restaurant doesn’t do it like you just did....there’s looked better. Looks like you burned some of it
Having made their fried rice 20 times now. I can tell you with full certainty, that this far from the recipe than you can get. It takes 10 hours to dehydrate the rice so it can absorb the flavor and garlic butter. Hot rice will not absorb anything. Since it still has water in it. Plus the secret to their garlic butter is lemon, room temp butter, a little lemon, and Kiko man soy sauce. Good luck
I’ve made chicken fried rice now probably 50 times. I’ve cooked for a crowd of 30 people, and this is most definitely not even close to how you want to prepare this dish. Safflower oil is one of many secrets to the dish. I think this is better suited for entertainment. Like instead of a “how to” Just say “I am making chicken fried rice”
This is the dirtiest cooking area I've ever seen! Please, wash your wall, your table, sweep and mop the floor and if you have to put a quick coat of paint around so it doesn't look like you're cooking in a public bathroom.

I am a Benihana chef and your technique is ok for home chef`s, but I wouldn`t cook it like that at my work.
