I definitely want to keep this art of Tambour Beading alive! Your work is exquisite, Bob!
I already shuttle tat, knit with size 100 thread, spin, make socks on an antique circular sock machine, sew my clothes and more.
I just saw you on Stitch to fit later on this fall I will sign up for your class you are amazing
Aw thanks there will be another episode that will air in early 2022. I am hoping to resume classes in 2022 . Too risky right now with the virus surging again.
Mr. Haven, will you do a class in New York? I would love to learn your techniques. I know there's a hotel near me that have nice venues. Marriott Hotel in Astoria Blvd is one of them.
Hello Bob, Would you consider making a video on making fringe, like you demonstrated in class all those years ago :-)? Perhaps I will be able to come back for the advanced classes now that I have been practicing for a few years. :-)!
Thank you for sharing
Thank you so much for upload new video of your creation, its so much help to me 😘😘😘
you are very welcome indeed! My goal is to spread the knowledge of the technique to keep it alive!
@@tambourbeader I hope it'll spread and last forever 😄
Thank you for this video! :) can you show how to do the whole circle with the stones as well?
There is an up coming video to accompany the chapter on STONES that will go into that process. Stay tuned
Don't you upload anymore? :(
Dear Mr Haven. I have followed your work for a long time and am now going to make a freestanding frame. Previously I have used a hand held embroidery hoop. I remember a lot of details on your website but can't find the information now. Has it moved? Thank you.
Sadly my old website is on its last leg . The software I used to create and update it is no longer supported . However send me a message on my Bead Embroidery and Design Studio facebook page and I can get you all the info you b=need to make a very useful tambour frame as well as a folding stand to support it.
@@tambourbeader That is very kind of you. I really appreciate your generous response.
Thank you. Merry Christmas...
any advice on a needle that pivots in the handle? It keeps moving and then of course snags because I can't see it well
If the hook is moving out of position the set screw needs to be tightened to hold it in place
Nice
Thanks
Is there any classes for Canada soon?
YES! Oct 5-8 at the Fashion History Museum in Cambridge Ontario Go to my Bead EMbroidery ad design Studio Facebook page for details
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Do you have a class on the internet
I don't offer internet tambour instruction as I need to be able to watch students' hands in real time and close up to correct and prevent mistakes.
