    Hello Bob, I have been enjoying all the videos, to review what I know and practice new techniques. Could you use the technique in this chapter to make sequin and bead flowers? It would be a matter of stringing them in a pattern?

    Have you ever heard of a bead spinner- makes it real simple and very quick to thread beads on all kinds of threads!!

    • @tambourbeader
      @tambourbeader  6 років тому

      Yes I have one but it doesn't work for anything but round or small seed beads. Not possible for bugle beads of the pendant and drop beads.

    • @lisajarvis2838
      @lisajarvis2838 6 років тому

      Robert Haven it should do- I’ve been able to use it for all shapes and sizes as long as the hole goes completely through the bead!!

    I dont know if you are still doing this but I wanted to know a few things. What kind of material are you using that you can see threw it, and does type of beading get done under the material how do you find a pattern to follow if your working from underneath????

  • @lisajarvis2838

    How would I do these to make them lay flat against the fabric??

    • @tambourbeader
      @tambourbeader  6 років тому +1

      Pendant beads will automatically lie flat against the fabric. Drop beads are designed to be secures only at one end so they can hang freely against the fabric but will also have movement. Drop beads are not intended to stay flat against the fabric.

      Don't give up hope! I am TENTATIVELY planning a trip to the UK in 2019 possibly the fall. Since it will be planned WELL in advance we might be able to work out a class. If you can find a space to hold the class that is free or at least reasonable ( church hall, school, library , leisure center etc) we can probably make it happen. Sned me an email ...rwhave2@uky.edu and I will send you all the information I have about organizing and setting up a class in your area. I think it is a brilliant idea ! Till then tell everyone to watch all the videos and subscribe so they dont miss a new posting.

      Robert Haven my email: ljarvis12@sky.com Oh goody- my local bead shop does different classes so I will ask if you may be able to hold it there but she will want to know all the ends and outs of it all!! Thank you so much for information!! Robert I am having one problem- I’ve tried to order that Tambour hook set of that website you mention in bottom of your videos- but they don’t seem to want to deliver a small single item like that to 🇬🇧 because the P.O. is to much- I was trying to get LB34 Tambour Needle Set with fine#70,medium #90, large #120, wooden handle with brass set screw and instructions for $22.00 from LACIS.com can you please help me pay pal won’t seem to take my details- is there anyway you could purchase this and I send payment to you with my card details please!!
