They’re both serious narcissists. It was inevitable that one of them would also be both a narcissist and a psychopath. Plenty of sugar babies murder the sugar daddy for the inheritance if he makes the mistake of marrying her. They’re built for each other.
Regardless of wealth. I feel it’s harder to tell when someone is wealthier. And easy to tell if someone isn’t so wealthy but comes off as intelligent and smarter than men you dated who were super wealthy. I never cared for wealth. Financial stability yes. But I’m very frugal and so good with finances. So I just wanted a good man who has his head on his shoulders. I dated lawyer and lived with him. Its was most hurtful experience ever when we finally moved into together. Worse year of my life. I ended up marrying a younger enlisted military man who made much less. He makes alot more than me now but I enjoyed our cheap studio apartment on the beach when I made nothing and he was still young in military. I enjoyed cheap dollar store wine and video game nights. My 40k a year husband was my sugar daddy while I was in pharmacy school. Now, after he got put after 11 years of service. I am or was his sugar momma while he is doing his schooling. He does contract work which brings him alot but I tell him to save. I do the financial metrics and he is good with finances too. So I just say to him to save. When he isn’t working, I say 4.0 gpa for his Engineering degree.
Kind of hard to tell if you are dating one when they hide it well enough. I dated a guy for a year and I thought I had found the guy I'd been searching for my whole life. He was incredibly kind, told me I was beautiful but not in an excessive way. Like blatantly love-bombing. It was like he knew when I needed to hear it. Then he asked me to move in with him, and a month or two later, it was like a switch flipped. His social drinking turned to nightly and to the point where he was sloppy, blackout drunk. Every night. On his days off, it was all day long. He would verbally and physically abuse me for years. The reason I stuck around was because he was great at apologizing and I desperately wanted the old version of him back. Once it finally clicked that he was never that good guy, I left. That's why it sucks to hear "why didn't you leave sooner?" It's not that easy. It's scary.
Getting into a relationship with a massive gap in power is always scary. Because if they have darkness in their heart, you will have a terrible experience
Yeap... It's tough to get into any other kinds of relationship than the ones that are highly tilted towards one side when your only strength is a form of facultative parasitism.

Any deviation from a collective's norm, be it late joining of the group, beauty, intelligence, or work performance, can put one in the crosshairs. Persons with *very low self esteem* often find solace for their own pain in bringing others down, and by involving the environment the feeling of empowerment becomes even more delicious. Again, *this is not selectively a female mechanism,* but in my experience women use it more often, because their conflicts tend to involve more subtle scheming, and they can hold perceived grudges marvellously long. Men on the other hand are more immediate, blunt and "honest" in their enmity, tend to prefer using methods involving swearing or physical strength in conflict situations, but often reconcile more easily afterwards (not always!). [Myself being a woman, I was always more comfortable with male co-workers, because my own behavioural/ conflict pattern shows more male characteristics (minus the violence :-) ). @@jakestroll6518 Plenty? Don't be dramatic! We know a very few cases especially compared to men's crimes against women!
It's scary.

In my opinion, regardless of the relationship arrangement they had and if this was a sugar daddy situation, no one deserves to be mistreated like this. Most commenters seem to be blaming the girl. I don't really understand why. The bruises look pretty real to me.
We live at a time where so many can barely make it. put food on the table, let alone pay the monthly rent/mortgage payment. A "Staycation" if a family is lucky. working 2-3 jobs, little to no benefits, etc.

Sadly the lesson to be learned is that if you happen to be female, young & beautiful, I really hope you are smart. Otherwise you might end up in these situations. As for the guys - the first guy was likely a bit stupid - the second guy was a pos who deserves to be in prison.

I’m glad the Dr. explained pretty privilege, a lot of folks have no comprehension or understanding of it. I had a first row seat to the mental upset of a colleague when she reached a certain age and lost her beauty, people treated her different, the world suddenly became a different place, the world that regular people know as normal.
There is a flip side to it, though.
Less attractive women gang up on attractive ones in workplaces.
Maybe Dr. Grande will discuss that phenomenon.
@@bluecollarlit Ah yes, mobbing of outsider Bonobos by insider Bonobos in collectivist settings.
There's an old saying:
"A beautiful woman 💀 twice".
@@bluecollarlit Not necessarily true for ALL, or exclusively women!
But I give you this - *only ONE seriously jealous and warped person is enough to influence all others to gang up against an outlier.* This topic would really merit a post from Dr. Grande!
I can from the outside understand (= analyse and speculate ;-) ), but not emulate womens' conflicts very well.
This deficit is especially obnoxious when I am on the receiving end of female aggression - bit of an Asperger here, so I work best with straightforward statements as in "I feel pi$$ed off by you" (regardless of justification! but it's something to work on), but not with e.g. passive-aggressive subterfuge, like in "What's the matter?" - "NOTHING...". ]

Don't forget about MLB Pitcher Trevor Bauer who was wrongfully accused and ruined by a skillful sociopath that had someone beat her up. Some people will go to great lengths to get a multi-million dollar settlement.
Right! That woman deserves to be under the jail!
Bauer invited the disaster into his life. He knew what was in play. The crime is mutual, although he was exonerated for the accusation of violence.
The crime consists of the dangling of status in dehumanizing relationship prospects. The crime is self-importance run amok.
