In US yeah. Because 99.9% of women dating that old is for money. I do know women who married older, including my sister who married her tennis coach who is older. My sister is simple and my brother in law is simple kind man. I do know that my sister was always having fetish for older men when we were younger, and scared that her older husband who was her highschool tennis coach was exploiting her and his own fetish for younger. It never ceases to amaze me how so many women objectify themselves by flaunting their bodies. On the flip side many men objectify themselves by flaunting their wealth. Then they both get angry because they are treated like objects, when that is what they have represented themselves to be in the first place. Make that make sense.

Consider that an attractive woman likes to be seen as attractive by herself and by people she is close to and cares about. She is often not looking gorgeous so that others will notice her. My GF of 2 years is 30+ years younger than me and her social anxiety results in her avoiding eye contact almost always with strangers - so she does not even notice that about everyone notices her. She does not want to be noticed, but she likes to look good for herself. The "beautiful people" are not as selfish and crazy as the people in these videos. Huge age gaps are not always sugar relationships. Humanity is vast and all sorts of people are with all sorts of other people for all sorts of reasons.

Everyone gets old, choose a kind heart and someone with healthy self esteem. Regardless of wealth. I feel it’s harder to tell when someone is wealthier. And easy to tell if someone isn’t so wealthy but comes off as intelligent and smarter than men you dated who were super wealthy. I never cared for wealth. Financial stability yes. But I’m very frugal and so good with finances. So I just wanted a good man who has his head on his shoulders. I dated lawyer and lived with him. Its was most hurtful experience ever when we finally moved into together. Worse year of my life. I ended up marrying a younger enlisted military man who made much less. He makes alot more than me now but I enjoyed our cheap studio apartment on the beach when I made nothing and he was still young in military. I enjoyed cheap dollar store wine and video game nights. My 40k a year husband was my sugar daddy while I was in pharmacy school. Now, after he got put after 11 years of service. I am or was his sugar momma while he is doing his schooling. He does contract work which brings him alot but I tell him to save. I do the financial metrics and he is good with finances too. So I just say to him to save. When he isn’t working, I say 4.0 gpa for his Engineering degree.

Kind of hard to tell if you are dating one when they hide it well enough. I dated a guy for a year and I thought I had found the guy I'd been searching for my whole life. He was incredibly kind, told me I was beautiful but not in an excessive way. Like blatantly love-bombing. It was like he knew when I needed to hear it. Then he asked me to move in with him, and a month or two later, it was like a switch flipped. His social drinking turned to nightly and to the point where he was sloppy, blackout drunk. Every night. On his days off, it was all day long. He would verbally and physically abuse me for years. The reason I stuck around was because he was great at apologizing and I desperately wanted the old version of him back. Once it finally clicked that he was never that good guy, I left. That's why it sucks to hear "why didn't you leave sooner?" It's not that easy. It's scary.

But I give you this - *only ONE seriously jealous and warped person is enough to influence all others to gang up against an outlier.* This topic would really merit a post from Dr. Grande!
Any deviation from a collective's norm, be it late joining of the group, beauty, intelligence, or work performance, can put one in the crosshairs.
Persons with *very low self esteem* often find solace for their own pain in bringing others down, and by involving the environment the feeling of empowerment becomes even more delicious.
Again, *this is not selectively a female mechanism,* but in my experience women use it more often, because their conflicts tend to involve more subtle scheming, and they can hold perceived grudges marvellously long.
Men on the other hand are more immediate, blunt and "honest" in their enmity, tend to prefer using methods involving swearing or physical strength in conflict situations, but often reconcile more easily afterwards (not always!).
[Myself being a woman, I was always more comfortable with male co-workers, because my own behavioural/ conflict pattern shows more male characteristics (minus the violence :-) ).
I can from the outside understand (= analyse and speculate ;-) ), but not emulate womens' conflicts very well.
This deficit is especially obnoxious when I am on the receiving end of female aggression - bit of an Asperger here, so I work best with straightforward statements as in "I feel pi$$ed off by you" (regardless of justification! but it's something to work on), but not with e.g. passive-aggressive subterfuge, like in "What's the matter?" - "NOTHING...". ]
