Bruce and I are very similar. Very low self esteem and social anxiety and was preyed on by horrible people. I am ruined financially, but at least I'm still alive. RIP Bruce, you deserved better.

Bruce was too nice, too trusting & unassertive to deal with such a monstrous psychopath. Thank you Dr Grande for helping people learn of these cautionary tales!

This is so sad. Firstly, He’s wasn’t ugly at all, what the heck, he had great hair, friendly smile, tall build, looks aren’t everything but this certainly wasn’t true and it prevented him from finding someone who would actually value him. He seemed like such a great guy. It makes me so sad when people destroy people’s self-esteem so far that they can’t see themselves as they are.

Feel sorry for Bruce, he genuinely seems like a nice guy and sadly he met a monster

The tragedy is that his high school bullying convinced him that he was ugly. Based on his yearbook photo, he was going through an awkward stage but he was hardly beyond the pale. Mind you, bullying is always less about the victim's actual traits and more about the bullies' cruelty and desire to dominate. If he hadn't been tormented like this, or if he'd had access to counseling to help him deal with it, he wouldn't have become easy prey for the likes of Rebecca. 😢

Here's a sad example of a man who had a brilliant mind, but yet lacked understanding of human nature, and the ability for people to be deceptive. It's too bad Bruce didn't understand his own self-worth, as there were many women out there that would've loved to have a caring and supportive man like him. RIHP Bruce.

Sad how she gaslight him and took advantage of his hard work and loyalty. I wish he had some friends that he could fall back on.

In the wedding pictures he’s actually way more attractive and out of her league then she ever was! such a bummer for him, he didn’t deserve this crap

I know this is very shallow to say, but she was like a 6 that thought she was a 10. The profound level of narcissism, entitlement and lack of empathy it would take to use and murder someone who was a mild/harmless person. He could have done better than her and it’s sad he lost his life.

It makes me really sad when a very vulnerable person meets a monster and are unable to walk away from the BS.

Parents, teach your children about manipulators and narcissists from an early age, so they can avoid people like this.

I can’t tell which is more infuriating; her non-stop BS, or his unwillingness/inability to call her out on her obvious lies.

This case always infuriated me. From the bullying he suffered as a kid to the monster who killed him, he has been victimized his entire life. He had so much to offer the world

The two best days of my life…The day my son was born and the day my divorce was final. Lol

Bruce was not a bad looking guy, he just felt that way because of the bullying. It definitely leaves a lifelong deep wound in more sensitive, good hearted people. He deserved and could’ve done so much better.

Hearing this case hurt my mind and my heart. Bruce sounded like such a decent human being who fell for a complete monster that resulted in his life being sadly and brutally taken.

Everytime I think I made mistakes I see stories like this and realize that love is where we all make mistakes. You think you’ve heard it all and then you see one more story that makes you shake your head.

Poor guy, just yearned to be close to someone, believed her lies due to his lack of experience of intimacy and belief in love.. so so sad

So let me get this straight. She told him she would falsely accuse him of molesting her son, yet he still thought there was hope for the relationship? Wtf is wrong w some people. She is very evil and he was very ignorant.
