Not sure whether other people ha e commented, but you could add later of sweetener at the end and use a blowtorch to burn it, it then becomes creme brulee!
Hi! Thanks for your suggestion! I know it can be done with regular sugar. However I think Erythritol won't burn that easily. Just like when I melted it over the stove at the beginning of this video, the Erythritol just melted into liquid, it just won't caramelise at all. 😂
Not a lot of keto desserts? Look on UA-cam got keto desserts from 2020...people are becoming more creative with the keto ingredients. And thank you for this recipe
my older children back in the day would grab it from the baby foods isle . and eat / also liked the blueberry buckle ......lol i dont know f its available any more but sure was good .
This is very nice, very easy to make. I'll add more sweetener the next round as I like my pudding sweeter. Thanks for sharing your wonderful recipe! ❤️❤️🥰
Hello there. I’m learning a lot from you. I’m on a keto diet for about 1 1/2 mos and I can say that i like all your keto recipes and I’m gonna try them all, promise. Thank you for sharing your recipe they are very much appreciated. More power to your vlog. 😘☺️
Monk fruit sweeteners are mostly erythritol. It should work fine. If you have pure monk fruit powder, it would be too sweet, and have an unpleasant taste. Allulose or Bochasweet would work.
@@innping1606 I haven't used Almond Milk, and I won't since I try to be a pure locavore, but Almond Milk is so different in terms of chemistry and texture that it feels like it might not firm up. That's why I asked for a report from someone who was going to try it lol
Hi! I've tied to make this recipe with Sugar and It seems like whenever I try to pour it into room temperature cream it solidifies? and doesn't mix? how can I make them mix? Sorry, I am a beginner at baking. Also how long should I be melting the sugar? and can you pass on any tips about melting the sugar?
Hi there! By right, there shouldn't be such problem at all with normal sugar. If that's the case, u may try warming up half the amount of cream and just stir in to dissolve the sugar. Then you mix in the rest of the room temperature cream. Hope this helps! 😉
Stevia is much sweeter than erythritol. If you used the same amount, you probably wouldn't like it, it would be way too sweet, and have that strong stevia aftertaste.
I tried to follow this recipe exactly but the taste is so eggy. Almost like sweetened scrambled egg 😅 where did i go wrong? probably needed to use the yolk only instead of whole egg?
I'm not sure how "eggy" yours turned out. Perhaps you can try other brand of eggs in future? Most of the friends who tried this recipe find the "egginess" acceptable though. Anyway, the main ingredient for this is egg and it should taste like that filling for egg tart. 😊
Beautiful aesthetics in the video! However, this is not a pudding, this is a custard or a flan. I bet you are using the British terminology for sweets. Just wanted to inform you of the proper name as I enjoyed the video.
Hi I made this receipe. I followed all the same steps but it came out very eggy taste and it even looked eggy on the top layer. Plz tell me what am I doing wrong
I typed in the search bar "easy keto egg pudding" and your video came up. Thank you for this simple and easy recipe.
Do give it a try! 😊
Can this not be heated in a sauce pan instead of baking?
Thank you for taking the time to write out the information in the description. Great video!
You are most welcome! 😊
I love this simple recipe and the cute music! Nice that you share tips for someone who has no oven haha, happy weekend to you and your family! :)

I wonder if any sugar substitute would work ?

Great! Like it! :-)Thanks for sharing! Kind regards
Look yummy 😋
Nice music 🌸
Thanks!
mine always just tastes like mushy scrambled eggs
The texture or the taste? Strain the mixture through a sieve to ensure smooth silky finishing. Also, cover top with a foil when baking or steaming.
What size ramekins?
Vanilla essence sounds like imitation vanilla. How about if we use real vanilla extract, what would be the quantity?
Are u talking about liquid vanilla extract? If yes, 1/2 tsp will be good. 😊
@@innping1606 thank you 🙂
Is it possible to replace the erythriol with monkfruit-sugar?
Yes I use monk fruit equal 1/4 cup or 4 Tbsp.

Could you make the whole thing in a big bowl was gonna use it to make a trifle
Hi! Sure you can! But i guess you will need a long time to cook.
do sugar alcohols actually caramelize?
it doesn't look like it
No. They don't.
I can use coconut milk as well?
Can use monk fruit sweetener?
Sure!
@@innping1606 thanks
Will it still taste delicious to use almond milk instead 😅 thanks!
Yes! Of course it will taste good too!
Please report back with your almond milk results. Almond milk is so different from cream, it's barely more than water lol
@@priestesslucy you mean u used Almond milk and it didn't firm up? Or are u referring to the taste?

@@priestesslucy Ic... I'm sure it's not a problem in terms of firming up cos this can be done with normal milk or even plain water!
Have you tried using an Insta pot ? If so, cooking time? Thanks for the recipe
Sorry, I have no idea what is that.
Sorry my phone changed the word. Insta Pot for cooking instead of the oven.
Easy! Thank u!!!!
Could I use coconut milk (from a can) instead of the cream?
Sure!
Why not fill cup after they are put on tray
That's a very good point! Sometimes I just didn't get to think that much cause I have to film the video at the same time. 😅
Yummy 😋👌
Thanks!
Hi, may I know what is heavy cream? Is it whipping cream?
Yes. Heavy cream and whipping cream are almost the same. Both can be used in this recipe.
谢谢
@@alicengaifong Most welcome! 🥰
Can Stevia be used as sweetener or Erythritol has a particular purpose here?
I have not tried any other keto sweetener other than Erythritol. I guess it should be ok. Perhaps you can give it a try. 😊
What about added flavors like lemon or lime?
You may add any flavors to your liking! I have tried adding coffee too and it's yummy!
Yum yum 🤤
😊 Thanks! Do try out this recipe!
@@innping1606 I will thank you so much 😊
Hi. How do you make this in air fryer or microwave?
Hi! Nope. I have not tried using those to make this pudding before, but I'm sure it is possible! 😊
Great recipie~ What is aluminum foil used for? Thanks!
Hi! Thanks! It is to ensure a smooth surface on top of the pudding and also to prevent water from the steam to drip into our pudding.
I know this is random, but I love your hot pads!
Can I use whipping cream instead of heavy cream ?
Sure! You can! 😊
Will powdered Swerve work instead of melting the granular?
I have not tried with powdered swerve but I guess it will work as well! 😊
@@innping1606 why melt the sugar substitute?? Why not use a liquid substitute sweetener?
@@creinicke1000 U may certainly use that! It's hard to get liquid ones here in Singapore. That's I have to melt them instead! 😅😅😅
Does this recipe only gives 4?
Yes. Exactly 4

can i use allpurpose cream?
I have not tried using that myself, but I think shouldn't be a problem as long as its sugar-free and keto friendly if u are on a keto diet.

Can I use mini silicon molds instead of ramekins for a nice design after flipping ?
This recipe is slightly softer. Not too sure if it will be firm enough to come out as a whole without falling apart.
