    Quick freeze tip: wrap your mason jar with wet paper towels before setting in the freezer. The paper towels freeze and act like a cold blanket for the jar so you can reduce the freeze time. This tip also works for quickly cooling warm drinks like soda, beer and bottled water.

      Jennifer Hope Tinker -- Do you find that allulose is sweet enough? I bought a Monk Fruit sweetener once and found it flat. Horrible let down.

    Made this and it was delicious! My new favorite icecream! I used allulose for the entire recipe, and used a stand mixer to whip up the heavy cream first to a soft peak consistency, then added the prepared pecan mixture to the whipped cream and used a paddle to mix the whole thing together! The icecream came out perfect!! Thanks for sharing!!

      Ohhh I’m gon try that... did you happen to use the two different sugars ? Cuz I used swerve only cuz I didn’t have the other sugar and it came out too soft !!

    I’ve tried so many of your ice cream recipes. My husband said this is his favorite by far. And since I heard about allulose keeping the ice cream soft, I use it in all of your ice cream recipes. One more thing, shaking in a mason jar is hard on my aching joints. I use a hand mixer. Thank you so much for always sharing your knowledge and recipes. 😋

    I made this and the vanilla. I used Allulose in both (swerve for the butter pecan) not sure why, but the butter pecan came out very hard and needed to be unthawed for half and hour. The regular vanilla came out nice and creamy right out of the freezer. Both are delicious. Thank you so much. I was able to enjoy cake (mug cake) and ice cream on my birthday!

    Thank you, this really is a great substitute for ice cream, I don’t use sugar or sweeteners but I followed your instructions exactly and it’s too sweet for my taste, but I’m simply going to make more minus the sweeteners, mix it together and enjoy! Your instructions were very easy to follow and the end result is 100% yummy!

    This is AMAZING! For the pecans I used half Lakanto and half BochaSweet and for the ice cream I used half BochaSweet and half an allulose blend because that's all I had. It was so soft and creamy. Absolutely delicious! I don't think I'll ever buy ice cream or use my ice cream maker again. I used my mixer and mixed the cream to a soft peak consistency and then put it in a square glass storage container for easy dispensing.

    I do not have any pecans, but I have a bag of walnuts. I will make it with that and add a teaspoon of
    maple flavor instead of vanilla. Can not wait. Also, here is another tip, do not watch this at
    night or you will be hungry! Stay healthy and happy.

    Made this morning and it is delish!! I used two drops of stevia extract to add to the heavy cream. I also used two tablespoons of confectioner’s sugar instead of three. It was just right. I can even cut back on the stevia next time. I also used a jar that housed jelly bc i didnt have a mason jar. Texture and taste was perfect and tasted better than store bought. Thank you for this recipe!

    Just delicious and does stay soft enough without being rock hard. It is the first time that I have used Allulose. I usually buy Rebel but this is just as good and a lot less expensive. Of course I had to make a double batch.

    I made this ice cream today. Instead of vanilla extract, I used maple extract. I used 3 squirts of Syrlo syrup in heavy cream mixture. It was so good. Thanks. It tasted better than the store bought and it was cheaper to make.

    Just made this yesterday and went to try it today and WOW I am VERY happy with this recipe! The spoon went into the ice cream with ease right from the freezer! Has a sweet creamy lucious flavor too!! A KEEPER!! Got an variations on this one I can try???

    I found laying the mason jar on the side so the mixture is thinner and able to chill through faster ( and stirring once after about an hour or so) allowing it to freeze very quickly (2 ish hours) vs 5.

      @@debi6079 with a coffee grinder. You can use the coffee grinder with salt as well. I grind my garlic salt to have garlic powder when I am out of it.

    I made this yesterday and it’s taken me a full day to come back here to review it!!! THAT’S how long I’ve been eye rolling and toe curling for 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. My non keto hubby took a taste, closed his eyes and threw both his arms up in the air saying “ holy fuck!! That’s 100/10” my kids had a taste and love it.
    I placed the rest in the freezer thinking it’ll be a hard mess today! Well I dunno how but it’s soft and perfect and even better than yesterday. How the heck is that possible? Btw we have regular ice cream in the freezer, I made this so I can have what I thought would be sub par ice cream while the rest of the family eats the good stuff! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣boy it’s the other way round!!! When they finish their tub, I’ll be making keto ice cream in the house for everyone.
    Thanks so much for this recipe. It was my first time making ice cream ever. I used an ice cream machine- threw in the base ( heavy cream mixture) and then tossed in the butter pecan mixture after about 10-15 minutes when the ice cream began to set/thicken. I also doubled the recipe.

    Edit: Just to note: kids weren’t around when hubby tasted it and hubby doesn’t cuss very often!!! Yes! It was THAT good

    I made butter almond, and I only used 2 Tblsp. of allulose, and it was plenty sweet for me. I also added 1/4 tsp. gelatin. Yummy!

    Thank you so much for the tip on allulose! I have a Breville ice cream maker but always had the ice cream freeze rock hard after putting away the extra despite the fact that I always make the traditional base of creme anglais. But with allulose, it stays as creamy as store-bought stuff. Thank you! 😁

    I use maple extract, heavy cream, melted butter and sugar of choice. Pour into dish, put in freezer. 2 hours and done.

    I couldn't get it to double in size so it ended up very sweet. Too sweet honestly. But what a treat! I'll try this again in the future! Maybe try a cold jar next time? This is a keeper! One thing I miss the most about keto

    Timely since I just received some butter pecan extract in the mail today from Amazon. I must admit that I never use a Mason jar and my ice cream always comes out delicious and I've never had one last for an entire day yet.

      @@justtheanodelay1119 I use what is like a large coffee cup, broad but not tall that I got from the dollar store. Works great. I don't shake it but use an immersion blender, a mixer, or just a spoon. Also, this is great used before it's really hard by adding some milk or almond mike and making a delicious shake.

    Quick, instant sorbet: frozen sliced bananas blended with frozen fruit (strawberry, raspberry etc...) Job done 😉💞
