It's hard to find companies who truly care about their employees. I'm just glad to see you thrive and make no excuses. You'll make it on UA-cam for sure, man. I'm subscribed.
People have gone through this for years. Get up, dust yourself off and start looking. This probably isn’t the last. That’s life! You will get through this!
It’s not the same at all. People used to have jobs for years. They had benefits. They had company pensions. It’s not the same today. So many jobs don’t have these.
Not many people can do what you are doing by living in your car but you are motivating some of those who are falling into the same or similar situations to not lose hope but to look forward and be strong minded. Thanks for sharing your journeys.

That happened to me at my last job. I was there 13 years. I drove in at 4:30 every morning and made coffee for all of the people that worked there. I did IT work, Web Design and development as well as the print work they needed. I would leave at 5:30 and sit in traffic for over an hour every day. I did my job at one point AND rah a virtual reality project with three hires for over a year. And in 2021 I was told over zoom I was done. They even made me sign an NDA because of what I could say about how terrible senior management was. But, I loved my work and many of the people I worked with. Now I am in forced retirement. Because I am 67 I never get passed the second interview for a job. Don't be fooled thinking that if you try to look and be younger that younger people will want to work with you.
Why don’t you just retire and enjoy life? I am 58, just want to work for 2 years more. Life is short, you don’t know when you are not able to enjoy it , must be hurrying up 😂
I was forced into retirement at 67 also. It’s taken several years to find out how to fill my days because I always prioritized work over everything else. I didn’t know how to have a life outside of working.
Aw thank you I appreciate that! I enjoy documenting it! Feels like a camera crew is following me around Do you like the video without music or with music?

I've been going through this the past month it is a emotional toll but one day at a time and we rebuild and then probably again in life at 60+ it gets harder to rebuild but surviving and keeping positive as I can go with the flow is what's getting me through the tough time. Your young and on applications having worked at Tesla I think is a positive for someone to hire you.
50-60 years ago used to be a smart decision to be loyal to a company because there was a thing called Job security, pensions and great benefits and the pay was fenomenal. We are working now to eat, pay bills, mortgage or rent and maybe save a buck by the end of the month with little to nothing in your 401K
401k are a ripoff unless you have zero unsecured debt and enough cash to last you about a year. it's a trick to get the middle class to put money into their passive income schemes.
The thing is... Now a lot of people would be happy for an opportunity to work to eat, pay bills and have a shelter. 😢😢😢 I'm close to being immobile, in the middle of nowhere (third world country) where average paycheck is 300-400 bucks, but 1 room apartment around 25 m2 costs 50.000 bucks ((( Bank interests for mortgage is around 15-18% and prepayment around 20-30% of apartment costs is obligatory. I'm scared to death 😢😢😢. One thing that makes me little bit calmer is... Thanks to God, I don't have children to take care of. Otherwise we would just die.
Was let go from another auto OEM (not tesla) and also own their brand car. Speaking for myself, they didn't care about hard workers :/. Good to see you are doing well, I have yet to land on my feet. Thanks for sharing inspirational content

Fascinated by your drive to do what you have to do! I too own a Tesla & would do the same if I had to. Think about this phase of your life in this way…I am saving money instead of giving it away for “stuff,” I do not have to clean a big house or mow the grass. I am free & living an adventure that many will never know! That’s not homeless man, that is living full force!
Bro you are awesome!! I've lived in a little pup tent in a campground while building myself a sailboat in Holland to save money. Once I finished my boat I moved on and it was like living at the RITZ!! I then sailed it around Europe and down to Africa where I sold it and came home to New Zealand and built a new one ( took me 9 months full time) after roughing it again moving onto my new sailboat was once again heaven. Now after many years My wife and daughter have a home which we build after roughing it again in a caravan for 3 years. I guess what I learnt is that life can be a great adventure and even though I have settled down now I'm forever great full to have some unbelievable experiences while not being tied up in the rat race . Maybe it's time to throw caution to the wind and travel to somewhere different and grab those life enriching experiences. 😬😬 All it takes is a slightly reckless attitude and WHAM!!
I guess life can be like movie, like you I was am still are very fit(cycling and Zwift) I'm extremely grateful for my health, You will look back in the future and be very proud of how you managed and I have no doubt your learnt resourcefulness will enhance your life in the future. You’re doing great and have my full support. 😊👍👍👍
Aw thanks for following the journey! I really appreciate you! Its the crazy ones that truly change the world haha
As a nurse, it's easy for us to get a job anywhere. Seek a career that you'll always find no matter where, such as in the medical fields. Good luck mate.
Unless you say no to 100% effective and safe treatments...
but many nurses are barely making ends meet with high house rental costs.
I really respect your transparency. I'm a 34 yr old woman in LA and own an auto mechanic and body shop, and it gets all the loyalty I'll ever be able to give any business, and I don't treat my mechanic like family -- I see him AS family. It's hard to find companies who truly care about their employees. I'm just glad to see you thrive and make no excuses. You'll make it on UA-cam for sure, man. I'm subscribed.
Aw appreciate the support! And that’s awesome you own a mechanic shop!!
People have gone through this for years. Get up, dust yourself off and start looking. This probably isn’t the last. That’s life!
You will get through this!
Thanks for the encouragement!
What are you gonna say if doesn’t get through this? Like if god forbid he passes away living in his car?
It’s not the same at all. People used to have jobs for years. They had benefits. They had company pensions. It’s not the same today. So many jobs don’t have these.
@@capo4ever334 Well there’d be nothing to say because he’d be dead so words wouldn’t matter…
Not many people can do what you are doing by living in your car but you are motivating some of those who are falling into the same or similar situations to not lose hope but to look forward and be strong minded. Thanks for sharing your journeys.
I don't know why I enjoyed this video so much -- just watching you go through your peaceful day. Good work/life balance.
Glad you enjoyed it! Should i do more videos like this?
@@NicoMurillo Yes please, it was AWESOME...and I normally never watch stuff like this! 😊
This was a very well put together video. It took a lot of effort to get all the angle shots, so clean, steady, and well organized. The mood of the activities was spot on showing you moving forward in life with steady determination and focus. I was impressed with this video and wish you the good fortune you deserve. Keep up the good work and you will be found.
Thank u! Yeah it took awhile to gather all the angles and being creative with it
I respect everything you did and your UA-cam videos will benefit you greatly. Take care.
It's your life; you don't need someone's permission to live the life you want. What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything? Take chances, make mistakes. That's how you grow. Keep going. You’re doing great. 👍
I love that! Yea so many people saying this is wrong or what im doing is a mistake and people even calling me a “bum on the streets” but i know in my heart that its the right decision and i have already saved about $3,000 in doing this

The new American dream
Life is awesome glad to meet another car dweller! 🤝
Omg. So long thats. 😪 sad
I’ve been living a house all my life. It’s a true American dream for me.
@@VuQuang1973
Actually, that should be. And not just for America. That it is such disarray in the overall system running the states to where many more Americans are losing.. versus thriving, is the point. The American dream shouldn't be for anyone to have to resort to living in/out of their vehicle unless it is for roadtripping or leisure. It's obviously nightmarish to continue to make attempts at gaining/maintaining a good quality of life and continued reroutes and detours ( whether by government/political agendas and/or big companies). Still, here some of us are. Still with the true American dream despite. Making the best of our situation as best as some are able.

Ooh maybe i should film this more
i think your video is relatable to a lot of people with how our world is starting to work.
It's been an interesting journey.
Life is short, you don’t know when you are not able to enjoy it , must be hurrying up 😂
AT 67 YOU SHOULD BE ENJOYING THE LAST FEW DECADES OF YOUR LIFE, NOT WORKING FOR ANYONE
I was forced into retirement at 67 also. It’s taken several years to find out how to fill my days because I always prioritized work over everything else. I didn’t know how to have a life outside of working.

That cookjng arrangement is kne small accident away from big damage.
Get a small table so you can do this outside
Yeah you can get one of those foldable TV tables with short or long legs
totally agree, the base to hold the pot is way too small and unstable, not to mention the environment (inside that car) is already not proper to that cooking setup, hold my breath watching him move it casually with hand while the fire is on, bro for your own good we hope you consider this
Not an ev guy but that tesla is freaking clean and extremely low key. You could fit like a glove in an upper class area. Nice set up. I call this luxury homeless. There is no comparison from this to living on the street and begging for scraps. Best of luck bro.
I lived out of the back of my 4Runner for two years. Spent a lot of time at the library and the gym then I’d go to the Walmart parking lot at night. I look back on those two years with fondness. There’s a sweet freedom that comes along with it.

Hi i admire your independence , strong survival character , take care all the time and God bless you !
REALITY of Life in the work place. EVERYONE is REPLACEABLE. Lot of people do not understand becoming an emotional victim. Self early Corporate retirement, I’ve seen long time dedicated employees serving 25-50years who were forced retirement or be laid off disappearing under the wood work. Your vid shows you have your 💩 together getting thru the road bumps in Life. Best of Luck💪😎👍👍⬆️
I'm impressed. Stay your own course. Don't use that savings from the house. Save, invest and plan. Good job.
50-60 years ago used to be a smart decision to be loyal to a company because there was a thing called Job security, pensions and great benefits and the pay was fenomenal. We are working now to eat, pay bills, mortgage or rent and maybe save a buck by the end of the month with little to nothing in your 401K
Lets change the game! Get out of the rat race
Exit the matrix!
401k are a ripoff unless you have zero unsecured debt and enough cash to last you about a year. it's a trick to get the middle class to put money into their passive income schemes.
The thing is... Now a lot of people would be happy for an opportunity to work to eat, pay bills and have a shelter. 😢😢😢
I'm close to being immobile, in the middle of nowhere (third world country) where average paycheck is 300-400 bucks, but 1 room apartment around 25 m2 costs 50.000 bucks ((( Bank interests for mortgage is around 15-18% and prepayment around 20-30% of apartment costs is obligatory.
Sorry to hear about that..don’t give up don’t give in..there’s always an answer to everything
first time I've ever seen a Tesla door opened like that, I'm gonna have to try it. Good luck with things, and I'm glad you're investing everything you've saved so far!
Wow sounds like ur life is a movie! I aspire to be like you friend! Travel, experiences, and enjoying our time on Earth
I guess life can be like movie, like you I was am still are very fit(cycling and Zwift) I'm extremely grateful for my health, You will look back in the future and be very proud of how you managed and I have no doubt your learnt resourcefulness will enhance your life in the future. You are a true winner 👍👍

Nice, that’s a great goal. Minimalist lifestyles don’t require that much cash. We need a lot less than we think.
I work as a pharmacist, and our working conditions in virtually all settings are pretty miserable. And there’s no joy or purpose in western medicine. Its fee for service, get you in/out, bill your insurance, have a nice day. No education or prevention.
I’ve considered a much more drastic lifestyle change. Homesteading in Alaska solo. I’ve had moments where I’ve almost dropped everything and done it. Workplace and general culture here is not appealing for many of us who value things beyond the material or superficial.
You can have whatever you see self having, in your mind. Set intention and see it no other way. Keep putting in effort and tend well as possible to self care. You will get what you want and need. Keep the higher self mode rolling along. Be in daily gratitude for anything you do have. It lifts you higher than most anything else can. Look at it as a test, that you see self acing.
