I first met Shaun Whale at a 4x4 show in Brisbane 6 years ago. We got to chatting about Hilux's and met for coffee that night. We went for a walk in the park, talked about wheeling, held hands and watched the sunset. Shaun is an amazing guy and I will never forget that day.
They also didn't mention that the facelift D-Max that is in the video, it has a new infotainment system, it now has 2 dials. It is also night and day in terms of performance improvement.
I'm getting 8.3 ltr/100kms on my 23 MUX mixed road driving. I'm a little different in my needs and I needed the wagon. I have a blind business and can carry 2700mm blinds if need be with rear and mid seats down. Quoting on rural properties and some of our steep driveways near the ocean is best left to the MUX. 3d camera would be nice.
New mux has the larger dashboard display like the latest Dmax or not yet as its behind a facelift revision? Also thought the new Dmax had audio knobs on the radio?
Personaly i think isuzu 4x4s are great but they can be so much better for instance, if they were to add another turbo to their 2025 3ltr version(3ltr twin turbo 4 cyl) front and rear diff locks, and maybe one or 2 more foward gears to that 6speed auto trani the copetition may have some issues 😉
This brand will disappear from our market soon when our Labor overlords 'ute tax' starts to bite, as they don't have any low emmission models to offset, so yeah nah.
Buying a dmax or hilux instead of a ranger is just stupid at this point in time... indont even like ford, but it is undeniable, the ranger is like 1.5 generations infront now
Have you ever owned a Ford? Ford have great ideas, they just don't have the ability to implement them well. The gearbox in the PX1+ auto is the same in the Territory Diesel (a ZF clone) and when I had the Territory, it didn't even last 90000kms before it had issues.

I have both Isuzu MUX and the UTE. For different applications in South Africa. Love Isuzu brand👊
311L behind 3rd row is class leading, I can't see why this is not mentioned,

Eee-suzu ✅
Thanks mate good review... D-Max dropped the ball on the no 360 camera and vented/cooled seats in the new "upgrade "
Is there is a facelift on 2025 MUX in Australia?
Isuzu mux is the true suv out there. 3 ltr diesel is a gem.
I own both, great cars!

2025 MU-X has same dash upgrade as the d-max along with other upgrades that the d-max received.
@@adamtonkin3800 S0 2025 MUX is the same as the 2024 Dmax, that's a shame
@@adamtonkin3800 have they released in Aus yet because all the top spec models I see on display still have the old radio and dashboard?
DONT NEED VOLUME KNOBS IF YOU HAVE STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS..... smh...
@@ChrisDied ah yes, so the passenger can reach over and touch the wheel whilst im driving to adjust the volume.....
These are both available now, so what makes them the 2025 ? Would they not be 2024 as the updated version of Damx was released earlier this year ?
In 2025 “This is not an exciting or dynamic power train” well said 🤦♂️
Who on earth would buy this???
Any updates regarding the recall??
Which recall ? never heard of a recall.
Not sure if I can post links, but it was very recent (yesterday) about a problem with the ECM. Give it a google 👍🏻

Rather push a Holden (Isuzu) Piazza turbo and Holden Jackaroo V6 than drive smoky diesels Isuzu D-Max and Isuzu MUX respectively.

That law would be grandfathered, so its only to new purchases.

My sentiment exactly, hopefully 2025 will bring some Ranger competition.

Need to carry a spare front differential.
Well the Ford needs a spare gearbox and rear differential and probably a few other spares
