Fantastic song, they don't make them like this anymore! Nicolette looks gorgeous with full make up on, yet her obviously huge character shines through as well. The singing is perfect with a lot of power. I think the late 70s was when pop was at its summit. Before then the tech was not up to the performers (Beatles) after this the performers were not up to the tech (Ed Sheeran)

Bruce Powell And it sucks that they both died at such a young age. Damn that sucks. They were both might purdy too. And they both could sing might purdy, too. I didn't even know either one had died till I did a google search, cos I hadn't heard from them in a while & wondered what became of them. You know how some stars just fade away without so much a whisper. That's what I thought about these two, till I discovered what really happened. And it sucks, I don't mind telling you. So damn young too. And I didn't even know that Jerry Reed from those Smokey & the Bandit movies had died, till I did a google search for the same reason, cos I thought Jerry retired or something cos I hadn't seen em on TV of late. And imagine to my surprise when I learned he had died. Come to think of it, he wasn't that old either. Go figure.

I loved this song since I first heard it, and always used to hear her name announced as the singer, but NEVER realized how drop dead gorgeous she was!!! Growing up before internet, youtube and etc, if you didn't happen to catch people like this on talk shows, or go to live concerts, we often lived our whole lives without ever knowing what many of these artists actually looked like. What a beauty, and such an amazing voice.
Yeh what a beauty. In other vids she does not have full make on, which shows her more down to earth, but she obviously had an awesome personality. This comes through in this vid also. No wonder Neil Young and Andrew Gold had romantic interests in her!
couldn’t have said it better myself! I’m in my mid-50s now and I cherish UA-cam so much because I’m able to revisit a lot of these performances that I missed out on because I was too young or didn’t have access.

Her voice and natural beauty were stunning.
Lexy h lexy yes she is so fine and her 🎶
You said it!
I fell in love with her soon as I seen and heard her song and seen what she look like
Wow shes beautiful
This video shows her looking older than she had ever looked before.im guessing this was filmed pretty close to her death?
Magnificent Masterpiece from the very beautiful Nicoletta, great music & memories of life, R.I.P eternally in Heaven
No way this lady is gone. Oh my God wanted her to sing in his heavenly choir. I just saw song this on you tube and then saw this live version.. What a great great relaxed singer. LB October 2021
How many songs today have a flute solo? Still love you Nicolette in 2020!
I can't quit replying and posting I've already spoke about her so much and what I said was very pleasing to her if she's listening up there and her family and I'd like to say a little about the guy playing the flute and the sax that's Talent that's not a computer enhancing it, that's not tricky music it's Talent saxophones are in lots of songs and I love to hear them they have a place and lots of music and I agree how many can actually play those things that good.
this is one of my all time favorite love songs,, feel that emotion, makes chills all over.. this was music... Love the 70's
I love her amazing song too I grew up listening to this song. She's the most beautiful thing ever
She kinda reminds me of the late Laura Branigan for some reason. Both great talents, & both gone way too damn soon.
Well said, I agree.
Go figure.
I agree
Both gorgeous ladies...God bless them.
Yes I also think of Laura Branigan when I think of Nicole as well. May God rest their souls.
Great song from the amazing 70's.When music was music.. Drums, guitar, flute, sax... What an awesome time to be a teenager. It was a blessing.
preach
The power of Linda Ronstadt, the controlled rasp of Bonnie Tyler, The beauty of Sheena Easton. She really had it all... gone too soon like Karen.
You hit it right on there
Well said, if you’re referring to Karen Carpenter? She was also such a beautiful, talented lady. Another one taken so soon!
Yep.. Karen Carpenter. Probably my favorite female vocalist ever.
Justaguy913 totally agree..

This is one of those songs that makes you feel good. Rest in peace Nicolette
One of my favorite songs - and what a Great Singer and Performer! She looked so gorgeous here and I love the passion and the endearing expressions that she put into this performance. She was a beautiful girl with a great voice who left us way too early! RIP Nicolette - I know I speak for many when I say We Love You and We Miss You!
RIP Nicolette.Sadly gone to soon.
Love this song. She had a beautiful voice. Rest easy Nicolette Larson.
Holy shit she looks so young in this video! WOW!!! Heavenly woman singing with a heavenly voice!!
Que música linda relembrando meu passado no fim da década de 70 e anos 80 todinho, melhor época de músicas disco pra dançar e ouvir...ótimas lembranças.
Ah the 70's. Not much else to say.
Love this live version - awesome flute / sax - thank you Nicollete in heaven 😇😇😇
I was in high school the first time I heard this beautiful song by the beautiful Nicolette Larson. I'll never forget the sad day I heard on the news that she passed away, I was so broken-hearted. Her music is TIMELESS. I love her beautiful voice and music so much, she's a true beauty and making music up in Heaven for GOD and His angels! 🙏❣️😇🎶

What happened, sweet woman---you left without saying goodby.
We miss you.
Drop dead Gorgeous.
My exact words.
Every guys Dream Girl.
couldn’t have said it better myself! I’m in my mid-50s now and I cherish UA-cam so much because I’m able to revisit a lot of these performances that I missed out on because I was too young or didn’t have access.
Wow…I love reminiscing like this ❤️🩹💯
2021 São Paulo - Brasil!. O mundo já mudou e ficou uma droga, mas a música quando é boa; é eterna. 💗💗💚💛💚💛
