Ive watched a few of your vids and hell yeah man, you guys are doin exactly what we the Certified UA-cam Mechanics™️ wants and needs. The visuals are extremely good, the verbal dialog is PERFECT by keeping the chore front and center of the conversation. Plus, the main dude could be Andrew Santinos stunt double😁.

Every video you do is well informed. Thanks a lot!!! I do have a couple of questions. If my rear axle seal is not leaking, would it be ok to just reuse it? Second, I am going to replace my backing plates. What is the torque on those large nuts holding those on? Or where can I find the torque specs. 2001 chevy silverado 2500hd. Thanks so much!

for future reference, never reuse the seal. it won't live through removal. ALWAYS replace

If that little clip falls out when does it matter if you don’t put it back in?

why skip over removing the bracket from the spring/cable behind the backing plate? thats what i came to this video for and you skip right over it.

Why did you not CLEAN with BRAKE CLEANER the inner parking brake drum because it has lite oil on it to keep it from rusting and i didn't see you adjust the parking brake??

Why the heck would GM decide to make the parking brake so complicated to change the pads? To remove the axle to change brake pads is ridiculous. I know gm did it, like most things so people have to go to a dealer or garage to have pads changed and then while your doing it mine a well change all the seals and clips and whatnot you have to remove to get to the pads .
