Even when they fed them bread, it was soaked in that painful hot sauce. The prosecutor asked her if she would feed hot sauce to her dogs as punishment and she acted horrified and said of course not. But she clearly believes it was okay to do to her son? One of the saddest abuse cases I've every heard of. I don't understand how someone could be so cruel.

This reminds me of the Gabriel Fernandez case - where the mother & her boyfriend got custody of the 8 yr old boy for the welfare $$ & then tortured him to death in front of his 2 half siblings cuz they assumed he was gay (he had lived from birth with a loving gay uncle). There was a whole Netflix series about that case. I am curious to see why poor Timothy ever came under the care of that disgusting woman who happened to have given birth to him. As with young Gabriel, the people who did so meted out his death sentebce

When someone has intense disdain for somebody for no valid reason, then they have no problem with inflicting cruelty upon them. The cruelty usually isn't extreme physical abuse as in this example. It is often psychological or verbal abuse, but it is deliberate cruelty, nonetheless. This is a common trait with highly arrogant and narcissistic individuals. They enjoy being cruel and they get a thrill at seeing the distress they cause.

until USA government didn't decide to get every minor visited by a doctor (both physically and psychologically) at least once a year, MORE if they are homeschooled, these monstrosities will happen again and again. And if you think it's impossibile to check children so often, well, in Germany they do it, and if the minor is a baby they do even monthly, for the first years. I mean EVERY newborn, poor or rich, doesn't matter. If for some reason the appointment is missed, they come to knock on your door and check the whole house too.

But you know, It's never caused me to restrain and torture a child. Not a valid excuse and it's actually more infuriating that she'd throw people with PTSD under the bus trying to use it as one.

My own mother was like this, but to a much lesser degree. She and my 2 siblings hated me. My mother resented me and was disgusted by my existence. The 3 of them were extremely cruel to me. I cut them all out of my life when I became an adult. I am sick over what this poor boy had to go through. His life was an absolute nightmare. Put in ice water for 9 hours. He ate a 2 pound bag of frozen nuggets he managed to get ahold of because he was starving to death - yet she mentioned that in court to demonstrate that he was somehow "bad". I hope the other prisoners make each and every day of her life a living HELL.

After she dragged Timothy from the ice bath into the closet, Her last words to her son she killed was, "you owe me an apology, and you don't need your mouth open to breath dummy" (as she turned his head to the camera with her hand over his mouth)
And Timothy took his last breath.
Shanda really shocked us all (I know this family personally, was there at their wedding, and was close family friends with her husband since I was born)
She lived a double life, and is a true abuser. She shouldn't even had Timothy in her care, being her parental rights were relinquished in Oklahoma years prior. She was only allowed supervised visits. There is so many details that didn't make it to trial. Like the video of what i described above, and the dynamics of the household. I hope they take care of her in prison.

If they are able to stay in their same life and get away with it, no guilt is to be had. Not saying that people don't feel guilty at all, as I've known some people who are in prison from doing some horrible things and have a lot of time under their belt and they found God and genuinely feel guilty and are making a hard effort to change themselves and their lives before they get out and also help others change their own life around. No. It’s disgraceful that you are trying to shift the blame here. It’s the people who did this’s responsibility. She did and hid this. I’ve seen as many cases of crazy/evil/sadistic women who will destroy everybody around them, and it’s about time we acknowledge that. The lack of that truth here allowed this. I can almost guarantee that he did everything he could do, and that he probably had no idea about the boy’s ultimate condition. If a man showed up to take his son back, he’d end up in jail and the kid would be no better off.
The courts back the mother, no matter what they do or who has custody. Go watch the documentary, “Dear Zachery” if you want to know how these things play out.
Stop defaming, shifting blame onto a man who had no way to stop this, until you have evidence. The cops and courts won’t do anything.

As for her teen son, I lean on the massive amount of research over decades showing an undeveloped prefrontal cortex, inability to properly understand, consent, make decisions, or apply logic in someone under the age of 25, and particularly in the teen years when the area of the brain controlling the need for acceptance is at its peak.
He wasn’t an accomplice; he was another victim. Imagine for a moment a stranger abducted two children and forced one to torture the other. The threat here is withdrawal of love, potential loss of his home and quite possibly his life- as he was very likely threatened with, ‘you want me to do it to you instead’.
This boy couldn’t possibly have understood and far from jail time, I believe residential hospitalization under grounds of severe trauma and abuse would be appropriate.

I can't believe this poor child lasted this long, a little illness would have finished him. I can't imagine what a sad, hopeless existence he had.
I'd have to say yes to murder. What on earth was she trying to do otherwise? I'd maybe believe she didn't want to kill him because she enjoyed it too much!
I remember when that other boy was found in the home locked in a room, that, the awful thing is there would be other children out there, behind closed doors, suffering in similar ways. I wish this was the last case, but I'm sure there's more to find.

Animals very much do hurt their own off spring. Real life isn't Disney.
You would have to spend like no time around animals to believe something like that.
Most animals are adapted to kill off some or all of their offspring in tough times to increase the chances of survival. It's just how it is. We're supposed to better than our baser instincts.
Does are known to not let one fawn suckle so the other has a better chance of surviving. They'll even eat the dead fawn after it starves to death.
Rats and other rodents are well known for eating their offspring.
That kind of thing being so common in nature might even be where people get it. It might be why it's so common for people like this mother to mostly target one child.

    • @louwinters508
      @louwinters508 4 місяці тому

Where the hell are you getting this information from. Animals do and often kill their young. They often let them die if they are weak or kill them. And male animals often have to be chased off away from their young by the mothers to stop them from killing them. This behaviour is often seen in predators. bears, Felines and Dogs.
Their instincts are telling them to do this.
They don't want to torture them. It's just instinct.
The want to torture and control and harm is a human thing.
