Your shed is just big enough, and heating a small space is cheaper :-D One of my neighbours had there set fail on them, i thought back lights but i don't want to be married to that set for every fault. (i'm sure you understand). So i said nothing (So hard for me to do). The set was about 6 years old so they had there moneys worth. Now they have a smart tv, lots of junk and features that they will never want.
I am a retired tv engineer , a friend has just asked me to have a look at his Panasonic tv , took the back off guess what it is a Vestel . He said was dead so he replaced the mains plug fuse with silver foil (he is a farmer all fuses are replaced with foil just in case) and it went bang so I told him he had killed it , when I removed the back the psu was live but the set is dead I expected the psu to be nuked but it lives so I have taken it home to investigate ,wish me luck. PS do you know where it can find a manual for it. Regards Steve.
