    Hey everyone! I’m sorry about this confusion but I missed this mistake around 6:10. When I’m talking about eating enough protein in a day I mix up lbs with kg. You should eat around 2 grams of protein per kg body weight total in a day. And around 1g protein per lbs total in a day. Thanks for watching!

      in dietuppläggning är superbt! Det gör mig dock klurig på varför Alex hävdar att han käkade enbart "kycklingbröst, ris och broccoli" dieten och skulle ha lidit så extremt mycket när han deffade?
      Ditt dietupplägg är ju genialt. Ingen extremtdiet utan en fokus på kalorier mer än specifika makros, fokus på "wholefoods" och bra råvaror. Led Alex för ni var tvungna att cutta av hans kalorier extreemt mycket för att hinna deffa till inspelningen?

    I'm glad you mentioned how much he hated the cut...when he said he was ready to cry, lol. I was wondering about the rice and potatoes, but now I see that that wasn't the diet for the cut....he'll never forget it, I'm sure

      You can easily eat potatoes and rice and get lean. Just don't overdo it and don't forget the training.

    Also, finally someone educated with protein...you don't need 300g of protein when you bulk...it's much less because of the carbs.

      This is a really good question. I herniated 4 discs in my back over a year and a half ago and had one surgery in December, and another on the same disc in January when it re-herniated twice as big as before. After spending most of the year and a half in bed, and with the injury that affects every part of my body I move, it has been SO hard to lose weight. I also have 6 kids and my life is crazy!

    I loved it!! Very interesting, I had many doubts about some name foods, but I searched them and problem resolved 😉. They were oatmeal, nut butter and finn crisp. I was impressed about breakfast, 🙈, for me is too much 😅. Definetely my favourite snack is finn crisp, mash avocato and salmon (like you express: Yummy !😋)
    This is the program to gain muscle mass, right? I will be waiting the diet and maintenance cycles 😊.

    Could you do a video on diet for cutting muscle mass? I was a swimmer, and I still, even as a woman, years later, naturally put on muscle easily (I have broad shoulders, V-shape, etc.), but I'd like to cut mass and get a "thinner" build, but still fit, without losing strength. So: athletic builds who want to be fit, but less muscular?

    I'm blown away by how normal his eating was. I mean rice and potatoes and red meat i was surprised. I like this trainer. I mean I could never eat that much but he seems sincere and keeps things less bland. I'd just throw in more spices.

    2:55 - 1g of protein is 4 kcal(Calorie) / 1g of carbohydrates is 4 kcal(Calorie) / 1g of fat is 9 kcal(Calorie)
    So that means:
    175g of proteins is 700 kcal/C
    440g of carbs is 1760 kcal/C
    160g of fats is 1440 kcal/C
    For a whopping total of *_3900 CALORIES A DAY_* - at his size, weight and physical activity _(with the aim of bulking)_ - that makes sense

    I enjoy walking everyday, sometimes I walk 25,000 steps a day.
    Do you think 25k steps a day is too much if I'm trying to build more muscle?
    Tarzan was running 10klms a few times per week and you asked him to stop.

    I bet the hardest part for Alex was to skip the lagers 🤣. Thank you Magnus for sharing this information. Back when the movie was released the only thing the media wanted to know was about this demanding training. In some very old interviews Alex mentioned that he has a “fast metabolism”, that he always had trouble gaining weight in his youth. I was wondering if that presented an extra challenge for the Tarzan training? Thank you.

    This is the second video I've watched where you indicate a 40g protein shake for snack. Is that however many scoops of protein that will equal 40g protein or just 40g of protein powder? Awesome videos btw.

      40g of protein. Thats usually around 2scoops (depends on the size of the scoop) Most scoops are about the same size though. Check the label!

    How long you have to wait after breakfast or any meal of the day to work out? I can’t do before breakfast because I have no energy I need to organize my day because it’s not like I can wait 3 hours so I need to organize if I wake up early or what can I do same at night thank uuuu

However given their time frame putting him on some crazy higher calorie high protein to build, then crazy restrict to cut. Faster maybe but that's why you see his pics after he's got some chunks. Guys like Ryan Reynolds and The Rock maintain year round so instead of having to do the crazy bulk cut stuff they just have to focus on adjusting food and what the role requires physically. Not taking some skinny dude and pack a bunch of muscle on ASAP.
      Hope that made sense.

      The more experienced the lifter/athlete the harder it becomes to do both at the same time. Beginners can do it and recomp fairly easily though.

    The macronutirents that Alexander consumed when buildint according to this video should be approx 4000 cal. per day (or more) unless I am calculating incorrectöy.
    However in several interviews both you and Alexander speak about 7000 calories/day during the bulking phase. Like this one at 3:37

    Therefore I am curious which one is the correct daily intake measured by calories? In my world 7000 cal/day would quickly give Alexander a truckload of fat to carry around since it amounts to 21 000 extra calories every week when comparing to the 4 000 calorie plan as shoen in this video.
    Must of course also add that you do a tremendous job with your clients. Keep up the good work Magnus.

      He said that on Colbert. If you go back and watch it you can see he's being sarcastic and are having fun more or less the whole interview. But boy have people taken that seriously. Take it from me, He did not eat chicken and broccoli al the time. Thanks
