Hello dear, how are you doing over there now and I Guess you're a good country MUSIC lover?
There will never be another singer that can Hank William, Sr. place. He is the best.
Hello Claudette. Your comments are very interesting to view. Hope you're good?
Shout out to my one time beloved who used to sing this to me. Always a place in my heart for you, and those sweet memories.
My Dad LOVED Hank Williams.
RIP Fred Amundsen (1928-1993)

I'm going to blast this song aloud when I get a vehicle!!!! Amen 🙏🏼
Thats what im doing
Get a hot rod Ford!
it's not, you're keeping it down and think of other people.@@Dqoral_Music
Rae brought me here, and I am so thankful. May her dad rest in peace
Hank does it faster than the record with a short steel solo, but it still sounds great. He has 2 Texas Troubadours playing with him,Billy Byrd on guitar and Jack Drake on bass and of course Don Helms steel and Grady Martin on fiddle. What a lineup.
Bob wonders: Louisiana Hayride or Grand Ole Opry? Other?
@@donnabrandmeyerrobertdavis2426 Kate Smith show. March 26 1952
@@donnabrandmeyerrobertdavis2426 Yes Kate Smith show, made to look like a Grand Ole Opry type show
I thought that was Billy Byrd due to the Bigsby guitar. Those were new and pretty rare. Chris Scruggs plays a beautiful replica.
I noticed that this version is a faster tempo than the record. I love both versions! The song is great either way.
A life far too short. Hank and Buddy Holly, we will never know the full extent of their greatness.
Just before Elvis, there was Hank
True.
That is the song my grandpa used to sing my grandma when they were courtin' back on the early fifties that's the best that's the original
Hello how are you doing today 😊
He had a hard and short life. Another legend done in by the bottle. Thanks for the tunes Hank, rest easy
Done in by his spina bifida, and he self-medicated cause that was all he could do !

I'm a 13 year old boy and I love this music. It's so much better then new "modern" music. This is awesome
That was exactly what I was thinking, and I am 10.
and iam 21 , my name is Joe i come from Indonesia... i love this music than Rihanna boobs....
Wtf
William Erl this music is good as well but just bc you hear a song from lil pump doesn’t mean all music from now is bad... ever heard of Tupac?
im 17 i love this stuff too my playlist has well over 18 hours of just older country with a little new country mixed in
I’m 61 years young, and my Dad used to sing this to me anytime I asked him, for 11 years!!!!!
Miss you Dad, thanks for 11 years of wonderful memories!!!!!!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I played this for my dog, now he's cooking steak in the kitchen....
😂😂😂 Nice Joke
best comment here!!
😂
Awe, me too! My boy passed over 10 years ago, but the song always brings me back to me singing to him in the kitchen while cooking. Miss that Boston Terrier!!!!!
Hey Vito, could you do me a favor ?😥
One of my favorite residents died of covid today. He always called me sweet petunia and gave me hugs. One day before he was sick he was singing this song to me while i was getting him ready for bed and i went on youtube and turned it on and we sang and danced together ❤
I'm sorry hon.
Peace to his soul
Sorry for your loss. How sweet of you to find the song for him on youtube.
Aw.... He gave you some special memories....
Ha isnt that what Popeye says
Sometimes it pains me when I see a cheesy 80's song (and I love cheesy 80's songs) with 100million+ views and then I see Hank with a few thousand on some of his best. He was a rock star before there was rock. One of the most influential and accomplished musicians in any genre.
he made this song just a couple years before rock was invented by elvis
and one of only two humans to be awarded a Pulitzer Special Citation as a songwriter!
Elvis stole rock and roll
DANIEL REYNOLDS 40’s... you mean. Died in 52
Thanks to youtube to make me from Saudi Arabia watching a classic from 53 like it’s today
What an ART mister Hank❤️
White and southern with extreme soul. I'm black and absolutely love this guy. Hank jr inherited his talent.
Hello how are you doing and how is the virus situation going so far over there
This is tops, (dope) in your vernacular. This is what we should all do, learn cultures instead of criticising. Respect.
what a timeless classic ,this tune and hank williams .arent we lucky to be able to enjoy this master.
I talk about COUNTRY music often - - THIS IS COUNTRY MUSIC!!!!! RIP Hank knowing you were very good!!

GG Allin showed me this song & it’s been our song since.
There was a time when music like this was possible and Hank Sr was the man to make it. Hank's gone and the time is over.
What. A Talent ahead of his time
Hi Sharon.....😊
What a beautiful voice good memories I love this song. How are you Sharon ?

@@sharonpratt229 Nice to hear. Where are you from ?
My grandmother was Country--old time religion; no dancing, no alcohol, no playing cards. My earliest memory of her is her singing along to "Hey Good Lookin' " She was not dancing, but she was moving around around her big Kitchen, cooking, to the radio.
Hank is the King. The charisma in this video was contagious. He died so damn young.
I Guess you're a country MUSIC lover?
His voice is beautiful and soothing
❤❤👂👂
Hank Williams! What a great writer-performer. I learned to appreciate him after living in Houston TX for awhile where Country music is everywhere. Hank's music always lifts my spirits. God bless him.
Adm jhon
I love this. He was one of my Dad's favorites.
Hello how are you doing
My father courted my mother with Hank Williams. I remember my father and my mom's sister's husband used to jam to this song. My dad was an accordion ace and my uncle played a funky country guitar. They would sing a beautiful harmony to this song and my mom and my aunt would dance around the living room. Such a beautiful memory.
The Godfather of rock 'n' roll and all other genres of music. To me the best singer, songwriter ever!
I Guess you're a country MUSIC lover?
@@JamesSmith-yg1io Yes I am and to me Mr Williams is the greatest ever. I recall whilst growing up here in Australia buying his old yellow and black 78's and his ten inch albums. If you listen to 'Why Don't You Love Me' that to me is the first ever rock 'n' roll song. Incredible songwriter and then Bob Wills of course with Patsy Cline and Ricky Skaggs. Plus our own stars such as Slim Dusty. Reg Lindsay, Buddy Williams and Jimmy Little..
@@happyolddude yeah that's true, same here I grow up listening to country songs. Where are you from if I may ask?
