This is true country music.
definitely not stoned. Definitely geeked on amphetamines. Amphetamines turn you into a literal rock star so I'm not surprised he's so smooth.
Johnny Cash doesn't get much credit for it but he was a wonderful guitar player. He kept it simple but effective. I love his sense of rhythm and his dead on timing. He was in the grip of his drug addiction during this time but somehow he always came off as professional and performed beautifully. Great clip!!
Im 99% sure he isnt actually playing in this clip, you cant strum up and down the neck like that with 0 change in sound especially not on a hollowbody
Trouble's Afoot you can do that stupid
@@reflexy_3915 No need for name calling. Yeeesh, kids
Watching Johnny Cash & June Carter perform I refer back to the film Walk the Line where ReeceWitherspoon & Joaquin Phoenix portrayed them to perfection...both should have got an Oscar for their brilliant performance...a film I watch frequently...
Man I love Johnny Cash when I was a kid growing up in Louisiana, I loved 🥰 the sound of his voice still do. He was a saved man, that loved 🥰 Jesus. Rest In Peace ☮️ my brother and sister.
I just watched Walk The Line for the first time today, and I felt like looking at some of these old vids of the real June and Johnny. They made a great duet :D
Hello Rose♥️
One of the few songs I don't get tired of hearing. Great song and great duet and couple. :)
He learned all his extraordinary stage moves on the rockadilly road with Jerry Lewis, Elvis, Roy Orbison, and more. For her, June was just a complete natural - in the blood.
They were Made For each other! June and Johnny Cash Legends! May yall Rest In Peace! True Love! June stayed with Johnny Cash through good and Bad times! ❤❤
That was great watching Johnny prancing and sliding around on that stage in those high-heeled pointy shoes. Looks like he had a little extra bounce in his step during that performance.
This man's style is marvelous.
That soul mate sound. Blows me away every time. Law or bust.
Wow, diese schöne Aufnahme. So ein verliebtes , musikalisches Abenteuer für diese beiden und für uns Zuschauer. Danke johnny und june dafür. Singt im Himmel genauso weiter.
I miss them. The memories, the music, the times and more. God bless Johnny Cash and June Carter.
I don't miss them. Everybody dies.
And knowing this doesn't let you miss someone?
+Scott Adkins why are you even on this channel? You obviously aren't interested in this genre
Michelle Baxter Excuse me? Ms. Baxter, I loved the Man in Black. Why do you say this? I do not understand.
+Scott Adkins OK you're trolling. bored and want anonymous confrontation. I'm too busy for this.
Who could give a thumbs down to this? Crazy jerks! June is sunshine! Johnny is gold! Some people don't know good music!

I hit thumbs down. But that's because I had my phone upside down when I did so it was an honest mistake.
Looks like Johnny really was a "long legged guitar pickin' man" lol. RIP Johnny And June
@@ch4rl1e171 whats your problem dude? It's a joke.
Another authentic country woman singer who'd 'up end' most of the girl children performing today. June was a wonderful performer and it shows in this older video. Thanks for posting.
I love Johnny's fancy footwork in those Beatles boots!
Every second of this is perfect... right to the end. This is yesterday at its best - respect from today. Rest in Joy, you two.
Mortal Clown - so true. And that perfection will live in hearts forever.
God I love these two!!! This video makes me happy. The chemistry and the merging of their vocals together, both equally brilliant ❤️ love the way June belts out her lines
@LuluMy love for this song is unexplainable . Needed in fallout . I guess he’s your favorite country musician, Right ?.
Hello pretty how do you feel whenever you listen to this music
An amazing duo! Glad they not only got together, but stayed together!
Its what you call proper love
Johnny Cash was ridiculously cool. No wonder she fell head over hells for this man! Those shoes, that slick suit! That voice! Oh my. Go watch the video clip of Johnny Cash singing "Hurt" one of his last recorded songs. It puts a very rich (and overwhelming emotional) perspective on his life and work. June's in the clip too. She was still there, still so in love with this guy. What I love about the Jackson clip is they are so happy, so full of joy to be singing, to be with each other. Mwah! I could kiss 'em! Thank you, where-ever you two are now.
Kathryn Ash Actually Johnny fell for her lol xD but yes Bother were cool!
love it
forDiXIElanda depends on who you talk to. Word has it she pursued him
Sadly, they are both dead
They’re in Heaven now, forever in each other’s company with the Lord!
When you see these two performing like this, it is so obvious that they are deeply in love with each other
I love this performance!! Never seen anyone play their guitar quite like Johnny does here.
Its balanced range, harmonizing, vocals as such, the combination of Johnny, June that drew me to country 🎵!!!!!!!
Hello dear ♥️
Those shoes!!!! I love the way he's dancing around the stage and his guitar showmanship!!!!!!!
I LOVE HOW THEY SING AND PERFORM THIS SONG
Hello Kay, How are you doing?
June's gonna be flirting in Jackson by the time you get there Johnny. She's gonna float that boat.
I love the way Cash plays the guitar. So much groove and style.
I adore watching these two.. Raised my kids on the greats and now seeing my grandchildren listen to classics like these makes me the richest woman on the planet... God Bless y'all
