Nice vid, thanks for sharing! Love that theres still some ST content out there...we're a dying breed XD Looks a lot like my 2016 RR ST.... i have the same Maxton diffuser, CF "ST" emblem in the rear, but I'm sporting the RS spoiler (with "RS" shaved), it really helps with the look..that stock ST spoiler is weak as hell..shame on you Ford! lol......I ended up with the 3071 on my turbo upgrade. I can say while I miss some of the instant sauce from that E30 powered K03 (300whp/420wtq), the power the 3071 makes just keeps going through redline even on stock fuel (I have the hpfp in the garage when my tuner and I are ready to tune for it). I'd say those numbers are VERY conservative, pretty low for that turbo actually. At 317whp, might as well drop in a $1,000 hybrid PowerMax and call it a day lol. Stock fueling can run this turbo to around 360-380whp...with an upgraded HPFP or aux fuel, the 2867 can hit mid 400's. Not as easily as the 3071, but it can do it. The stock block is fine at those numbers, but the clutch will start to have issues depending on the driver above 400whp/wtq. The STs rep for blowing motors is almost all driver...I've locally seen a bunch in our group pop their motors but they hoon their cars like they're stolen..only takes a few LSPI pulls to pop it too.Proper maintenance and monitoring the charge temps and knock will make or break the motor, pun intended ^_^
@@acidynamix understandable... plus the customer can always come back when they're ready and have it bumped up... maybe they dont feel comfortable enough having all that power in another map at the palm of their hands...great power comes with great responsibility XD
Especially on a Turbo that can push well past the limitations of the stock motor. Im running a gtx3071 Gen 2 with a spicy 450hp on stock motor aiming for built motor by the end of the year and next years goal is to try to max out a g25-660 They just took one of the bigger turbos for this set up and made it make barely as much as a hybrid turbo
@@killreaper3 are you running a 4 port aux with that? Im about to tune my XDi35 hpfp in with my BNR3071 and I'm hoping to hit low 400's...already tuned on stock fuel and it is a train compared to the stock turbo, even on E30. But I'm still stock clutch so I'm trying to keep my power under 440whp..and I dont think the HPFP alone can hit 440 without injectors (maybe some RS injectors?)..i just want to break the 400 mark for now
@dham99 yeah it's the 4 port precision rail with 750cc injectors. The limitation I've hit right now is the stock LPFP but could just be because it's the factory one after running 40k miles of E85. About to buy a used motor in the next couple weeks because mine is hurt lol I either cracked the head or blew the gasket but stop leak and k seal are fixing the problem for right now As far as the clutch I've heard it's good to 420 wheel torque but mine is estimated around 400 for tq and the stock clutch is holding up to multiple hard launches and mine has an lsd and some decently sticky tires so it bites hard idk how it hasn't gotten destroyed yet
thats prob the .64/.72, I'm running the 3071 .72 and i love it..slightly slower spool but man that thing is a freight train once it spools up (and doesnt stop lol)
@@blakebritain9787 is that on 93oct? on stock fuel my 3071 hits 28psi at peak, but havent really done enough testing to see that..I'll try to give it a look today or tomorow and see if i notice when its hitting those numbers. I just got it dialed in on my last revision on Friday! I just sent my tuner an email asking about when he wants me to swap in my XDi pump so we can run 93/E30
@@dham99 stock fuel on 91, max boost for now is at 26 lbs typically, but it’s kinda warm right now 😂 you’ll mostly notice it on a datalog. That’s how I got mine. Just got a new charge pipe cause the oem one exploded 😂 so we’ll see if anything changes I doubt it but 🤷🏻♂️
Im pushing my stock st mk3 turbo to its max. On dyno shows 299.3bhp. So extra 2,5k for 17bhp doesnt sound good to me. You can push it to 22psi, with stock engine, stock fuel pump -340 bhp. Engine will live and turbo will.
A stock black 2.0 Ecoboost is good for 400hp before you have to worry too much, stock fuel will only support 370ish That power is about right, they should be able to get close to 350 on E30 if they go that route one day.
Hope you guys enjoyed!!
ST3 owner here. Just commenting for the algorithm. I’m all for ST/RS content🔥💯
Thanks for watching!!
Nobody cares about your trim level brother. Just enjoy the car.
@@runningwildttv3648 I’m sorry if you didn’t get to enjoy the Recaro seats, but maybe you can one day and experience the car better.
Good job. Im almost done my stroker build with rs head swap, g35-900 turbo. Waiting on a few things.

317? That’s super weak, stock fueling good for Atleast 380whp, I feel bad for the owner spending this much money to have stock turbo numbers.

I'd say at most 380whp..but still, spot on. 317whp he should have just spent $1k on the PowerMax and spent the rest on beer or something XD
