Is it really that extreme? I just tested myself and without warming up, I could just the floor with my head leaning forward while both my heels were placed solidly on the floor. Just barely, but I could do it. From that perspective, Lu's flexibility doesn't seem extraordinary.
@@DirtyPoul that's not angle dorsiflexion but hamstring flexibility. Maximum ankle dorsiflexion is how much your knees can go forward while keeping your heels on the ground.

He is not warming up his shoulders. He is pretty much done with the workout. Why the fuck would he warm up then? He simply does lateral raises as a finisher for his shoulders.

I don't know where this misinformation about 'don't let your knees go beyond your toes' came from or why it is so pervasive among people in fitness.

Plus remember I said “Lu is stronger pound for pound”. This means that although Lasha is stronger OVERALL, Lu is stronger pound for pound because : a. They can both squat 250kg. But Lu is stronger pound for pound because he has required less body weight to squat the same weight as a much heavier man b. Lu has back squatted 270kg which is almost 4x bodyweight,the most I have ever see Lasha back squat was about 300lg-310lg which is nowhere near 4xbidyweight for Lasha Furthermore: c. How is Lu Xiaojun not the GOAT of his weight class when he was the only one playing (in his weight class) with a 200kg C+J in TRAINING prior to his year off,is a 3x Olympic world champion, and his team mate Tian Tao who is extremely gifted himself,still has never snatched higher than Lu,at the same time being in a higher weight class? Even people from other countries one weight class heavier than Lu couldn’t’ snatch his 177kg WR? You’re probably the type of guy who loves the big guys for some reason.

The Chinese are one of the best lifters in the sport. Especially at the olympic level. Which is amazing in that lifting isn't a popular sport culturally. Most Chinese are not about muscle and building up size. Y:et China produces some of the best (some might say "the best" and cleanest lifters in the world). Any time some joker pokes fun at Chinese guys (who don't lift) should watch videos like this. :) Chinese (China) do things so well. At the world level. Gymnastics. Olympic lifting. Fencing...etc.

This dude is picked among millions of weightlifters in China as the best one. Add around 15 years of brutal training. Thats why we can never be even close to him...

Weightlifters are probably the most mental lifters in the barbell "sport". He probably does not drop it to be annoying, but he's replicating the exact movement pattern to the T that has been ingrained in his CNS removing any variable (putting the bar down slowly) that deviates from his heavy sets.
