Your favorite band's favorite band
Facts
True
My favorite band
Idk if Steely Dan really listened to Faith No More LMAO
Unless it's King's X. The unsung heroes of half a decade.
Mike Patton genuinely haves no fucks to give. Voice of an angel and a demon.
He is God
Exactly 🎉😂😂😂
Angel Dust was such an amazing album. Every song was so catchy.
Head and shoulders above the output of pretty much any other metal/rock/country/jazz unit out there...
"Album of the Year" much better. I like "Colission". and "Stripsearch" with "Last Cup..." sorrow
One of my all time favorite albums.
Faith no More 2024 forever . . .
Faith no more was definitely a one of a kind band I love their music
whats your favorite tune?
Me to bro
TOP 3 for sure
“But when he lost his appetite, he lost his weight in friends..”
This lyric gets me every time.
I heard the video cost nearly nothing to make lol
One of the best music videos ever made.
alot of morons
around here
dont understand
it was made to
look amateurish
on purpose
they just complain
about it
Simple but effective 😀😁
Right in the "so bad it's good" hall of fame with "Queen of the Reich". 100% worked out (on both videos) that they punted the budget with "A Small Victory".
When they ran out of cash after Midlife Crisis. This is sublime ❤
I like music
3:25 his strap came undone on keyboard accidently and trying to pick it up before he trips on it! All these years...I JUST realized it 😂!!
The two girls and a boy are soooo freaking cute! I’m sure they were having the time of their lives! I hope they are well and happy today!
I know every word, grunt and sigh in this album.
This band is just unique! Can't be copied.
They are the best.
Incubus did a pretty good job, I think.
I'm afraid we will never experience a group so raw, melodic, innovative and beautiful. I was lucky to see them live on the From out of Nowhere tour in sala Canciller, Madrid (for many years now missed). Mike Patton, what a brutal shocking awesome performance.
Mr. Bungle
@@maovslandlords9244 Fantomas
Trent Reznor with Atticus R., NIN, How to Destroy Angels; Deftones, Les Claypool and Prinus, Dillinger Escape Plan, Tool and APC and Puscifer, Between the Buried and Me, Every Time I Die, Coheed and Cambria…I think there are some damn fine creative artists and groups out there. Mike Payton is god. But it’s not monotheistic.
The melodic key climb just blows my mind ever since I heard it when the album dropped. Faith was so good at melodies
💯 many of their songs gave me goosebumps, they were masters at atmosphere and melody. Roddy's keyboards played a big part!
Amazing musicians, that's to be said also for the melodics to be so good.
Roddy ftw
Angel Dust is such an amazing album and FNM such a great band. I cant speak of the high level of creativity this album has to me. When this came out it sounded like nothing around and still.
Oh my god I must have gone through ten dollars in batteries just listening to that album on my walkman to and from school every day when it came out.
I fucking love Faith No More!!!!!!!
Jim Martin is the only guitarist I've ever heard that could make a Les Paul sound like a Fender. Amazing.
this sounds like a fender to you?
This was my favorite album in high school, and Mike Patton is still probably my primary influence as a singer, yet I never knew this video existed until today. Fun stuff.
Wow!! Seriously....!! Glad U found it.
Maybe because they just recently uploaded it.
By the way, this is the non-explicit version:
ua-cam.com/video/bN7Ono0MUDY/v-deo.html
(I don't know what's the difference though!).
How could you not of known this video existed if you were such a big fan?
@@mikemontemurro8088 My EXACT thoughts hahaha
Come on how does this not have millions of views? It's absolute perfection!
catturd has 2.5 million followers, and elmo skum has 184 million! I'm glad this has less than a million views, and half of those are surely from just a few thousand fans listening to it over and over again!
@@TheFatAndTheFuriousI’ll make it a mission of mine to help it reach 1 million
It's an epic track. I was a kid at the time and it was very funny that they made a deliberately shitty video for it. The fad of those days was to spend millions and be dumb and pretentious like Guns & Roses.
I just realised I'd never commented on my favourite track / video of all time. This is a goddamned masterpiece. Every time I get a new pair of headphones, stereo equipment etc this is the first track I play. Every time I move house or buy a new car or change job, this is the first tack I play. It has everything. Alt rock, soaring synths, great bass, guitar and drums and some of the most cynical lyrics you'll ever hear sung in half a dozen styles. If you want to know what the early 90s felt like, this is it. At first the subject matter sounds at complete odds with the music, but it's the knowing glance from the band to the switched-on audience that earned these guys lifelong fans. Listening to Easy FM while the world falls apart around you and looking for someone like-minded to get angry about it with you. I scoured a pre-internet world for my eye-wateringly orange Reese's Peanut Butter Cups t-shirt and I still wear it to this day. This is a goddamned masterpiece.
your comment made me feel something .. i barely feel anything anymore, so thanks!
This is absolutely perfect. Well said.
Did anyone else get that feeling that you didn’t want this song to end? Holy smokes
My friend and I have listened to it Like 5 times tonight lol
Too funny! 😅
Да согласен!

English?
I back to back this song
This is one of the greatest music videos of all time, not even kidding, everyone's having such a good time.
Always felt that this track had such a melancholy sweetness to it... really evocative. Excellent!
Of course it does. Angel Dust is all about playful contrasts, aggressive/sweet etc..
I had the same age of those kids in 1992 and Faith No More was one of my favorite bands. Good times.
Yup I was 12 at the time .Those kids are our peers lol
Our culture peaked in the 90s.
the 1890s - before the FED and their banker's wars
Now everything's ruined
@@TheFissionchips1890s was the literal height of colonialism
@@gymonstarfunkle136 actually you will find that Rothschild's occupation and exploitation of the world is much greater now than it was in 1890. Judeo-masonic-communism had begun to destroy Europe long before Europeans had the opportunity to leave the barbarian world light years behind.
@@gymonstarfunkle136 i smell communism on your breath. eww
I just had this mental image of a studio executive telling the band, " you guys are too static on stage. Have you ever tried moving around more?" And this video is how they responded.
This album was their best. Saw this tour as well.
The real thing and angel dust got me through my teens and high school fo sho, and beyond now in 2023.
Me as well, I’m not kidding!!!
Oh my gosh, this video is the beat all end all of environmental loveliness! Everything's ruined! Hello, yes... it is! x
Now everything ruined is comforting in a delusional way. Best sound track for life
Jim looks like he is having way too much fun!
Easily has become one of my favorite music videos. It's so goofy/fun/random. Plus it describes my life perfectly
This song is great, but this music video is just...flawless.
I still miss big Jim… never the same without him. ☹️
After all these years this always puts a smile on my face.
These old videos were made with good spirit and humor, loved watching those teenagers having fun performing in this video :)
Possibly the best rock band of that era.
THE best.
The pinnacle of rock music. All we've had since then is a bunch of cookie-cutter bands that you could swap players, and they'd still all sound the same. I blame Coldplay, Hootie, 3 Doors Down, and any 00's crap that sold 30 million copies... Remember Creed? Maroon 5? Damn, we've been punished! 😉
@@slartibartfast4511 precisely my friend. Throw nickelback in there too lol
...or ANY era!
The best band ever
How am I only seeing this for the first time in 2023, the hell?
Great tune, fun video.
I now want a Reese's
I feel like they blew their entire video budget for Angel Dust on "A Small Victory" with all the weird bondage WWI stuff going on and then were like... okay, how about a green screen and some stock footage?
Hell...even Jim Martin is having a blast in this video, and that's saying something!
Love Jim's guitar solo at the end
I"m pretty sure that this is my favourite FNM video.
Gimmie day BASS! Tht Snarly as F, bass! Patton and crew were/are amazing!
This may be the greatest video I’ve ever seen.
Got 0 airplay. Had to see it forever years later
Faith no more is always on my playlist. Beautiful music
they need to upload these videos in HD. All these early 90s videos were recorded on film so it can be done.
most likely converted for television transmission which was 480i in most places iirc
Not this one. The bad green screen and all around (intended) cheap look indicates it was likely shot on tape.
And then you have their "Real Thing" era videos where footage of the band was shot on film but the effects (like the text in From Out of Nowhere) was video generated. Making an HD version would be futile unless you painstakingly recreated those effects AND recut the original film elements (assuming they weren't thrown out) to match the final cut that's stored on tape.
@@garaschneider4808 True but Like " A Small Victory " or " Midlife Crisis " and the music videos from Album of the Year for sure could be done
@@garaschneider4808 now everything's ruined
The looks of Johnny depp the voice of Sinatra. Mike Patton was my big male crush of the 90s.
He's a million times sexier than Depp.
Not gay, but I had a kind of mancrush on the man, and still do. I'd be scared to meet him in person for fear I'd say something stupid - and I surely would.
Head and shoulders above their American contemporaries. Timeless gold. Hilarious video too.
I just watched this video again after listening to the song a million times. It's pretty apparent they're mocking the whole idea of video, but had to put one out for the label. FNM and punk forever.
I’d say Jane’s Addiction were up there with them, but otherwise yeah I agree
I saw them on a double bill with Jane’s addiction. It was absolutely the most awesome concert ever and best time I’ve ever had. Mike Patton is God.
Mr. Martin is one of the finest metal rhythm guitar players ever, and that includes Mr. Hetfield. Martins "chug" is one of a kind aint nobody got that tone. Just orgasmic. I wish Mike and Jim would have gotten along, love them both.
100% agree. I believe FNM lost a part of their sound when Jim left. While there are songs on later albums that I thoroughly enjoy, there sound was never quite the same after Angel Dust.
Angel Dust is such an amazing and perfect album and for everyone who didn't know this song now you did and think about where it all goes wrong. Mike is such a genius Faith No More for ever!!!!!!!!
why does Mike get all the credit? He's amazing on his own right, but so is the rest of the band.
@@rollotomassi4768 of course every single band member got his own place in the decades from Faith No More and there are a lot amazing musicians! its not Mike alone.
I was 23 when this album came out. Was a huge FNM fan and banged my head along to the anthems in the album, but didn't really get it until maybe 10 years later. I'd say that might apply to the older work as well.
@@wordup897 i was 15 1992 when angel dust came out but I also listen to introduce yourself one year before on an private party and at that moment FNM got me as fan !!!.
Agree
Pretty much my favorite music video ever, still after all these years! This really shows the whole band working together to subvert industry and fan expectations and totally not taking themselves seriously while promoting one of their best songs in a catalog of best songs. Even Jim Martin is having fun here. This video always makes me laugh and smile, plus I still rock out to it in a major way when no one else is home :)
Best song on Angel Dust for me, great stuff.
this album has literal inifinite reply value and always has a way of feeling fresh, but familiar to me, not many bands I can make such a claim about something they made. fucking masterpiece, start-finish.
The best Faith No More album!
i always love faith no more
im 90's generations butlove it
When it comes to this band I know Jim Martin is an underrated guitarist. But I forget just how good they all are.
yeah budy !
they're just so damn badass I don't know if anything compares, maybe The Cure
Wish Jim had stayed
@@wordup897 killing joke sure does!

Criminally underrated band
Underrated do u think so they were fkn HUGE in UK 🇬🇧 & I'm from a tiny village so the must've been massive everywhere & so they shud be
Underrated? No
Unpopular?yes
You can hardly even tell they used a green screen.
thats the point

low budget
crap
@@heyitMeMcFlyunfortunately thats the 90s for you, great music, wonderfully cheep videos.
Whaaat? Did they??? 😎
I was baffled as to where they found such a gargantuan turtle to chase the band.
i know, technology is scary.
So happy. x
My favorite Faith No More song
That just simply shreds and sarcasm 101 ❤
I will always love 😍 this band!
So happy
I really love it because, well, Mike Patton is so funny!
I love how everything is ruined now
El mejor tema de la historia .....por lírica ....por armonías .....por potencia.....por voz ......por riffs.....por sonar como suenan.....gracias a la música por esto.
Sii
I miss Jim so much!!
My favorite music video from the 90s.
Yesterday is today.....great memories and now here we are!
Big Jim Martin now a champion pumpkin grower
Intro riff is so powerful.
Thank you FNM your all of your heart, you have meant so much in this little life, God love you!
One of their best tracks ever I reckon
best clip ever produced!
There was a time of the path. Even this day....its real
One of the best songs I´ve ever listened in one of the crapiest videos I´ve ever seen. Epico
This makes me so happy
WHY CAN I ONLY LIKE THIS ONCE?
Still probably the most expensive music video to this day
One of my favourite songs when I feel bad.
Actually I love Thrash Metal since 1986 but Faith no more was/is still one of my alltime faves.
A lot of their songs are thrash metal.
Faith No More is thrash metal at times
Ill bet they had a blast making this video. So cheesy its good!
We did!!

A beautiful ditty leading to a Malpractice...
When the eventual movie about Sam Bankman-Fried comes out, I hope this song is in there somewhere.

Only the best album from the best band lineup of all time. And this is one of the best songs on that album.
I still get chills listening to this after all these years
Best song ever) Always keep myself on the bright side
Faith it!
Always loved this track. So much to it. Killer tune. Faith no more were so underrated
