The change from B major to heavy riffing in C sharp minor is very stylishly done. It changes the direction of the song - from pretty upbeat and dreamy to very dark - without sounding forced or dissonant. Superb musicians. Overall, it is surely one of their best songs.

    So dry
    Only way to change
    Give yourself away
    Don't be ashamed
    Next in line
    Close one eye
    Just walk by
    In these days
    I'm breathing stone
    Crying stone
    I'll win this race
    I'll leave alone
    Arrive alone
    Love this place
    The lights
    Under this face
    So dry

Sometimes it makes me cry, that I didn't just stop and soak in those years. All in the pursuit of an education, job, money. I feel like I have somewhat wasted those years - just to go back to the mid nineties as a young man and enjoy myself a little bit more. I suppose they call it melancholy.

Yeah 1997 when nu metal owned the airwaves, ironically, faith no more's own sound and influence on nu metal was the same sound who drowned them by the late 90s. but faith no more's king for a day and album of year aged well

This song gives me goosebumps...then the video doubly so. Brilliant filming and editing. How we see something one way and make an assumption only to learn we really knew nothing at all.
