I was in HS and MTV promoted this video a few week ahead of time. I called off work at the grocery store after school to watch it! This is my favorite album of all time. Angel dust...
I was lucky enough to see FNM live in 1998. I was on a student exchange in Spain and they were doing a gig in the city where I was staying. Just pure luck that I got to see them because being a kid from Ireland I never thought that would happen. Great band, and Mike Patton is awesome!
They were ahead of their time; especially, this album. The Real Thing was really good as well, but does have a late 80s/early 90s vibe to it. Angel Dust was amazing!!!
When I bought angel dust I was also reading the "dark tower" books by Steven King. I would play this album over and over while reading those books and I know I came close to discovering a new world.
Angel dust came out when I was going through puberty. I use to put it in the CD player on repeat when I went to bed and made my life so much better at that time. Angle dust is so crisp and clean. Love that album
Linkuto It is also about losing as well. Overall I think it is about the basis of people being manipulated through forms of competition and how this competition can bring out both the good and evil traits we have.
I thought it was more to do with not actually winning and letting down a father with high expectations who wanted to live vicariously through his child.
It doesn't matter if I sit down and play this song, or if I walk into a room that this song is being played mid-tune: I will ALWAYS know the EXACT word to lip-synch to, DRAMATICALLY. This song is simply etched into my DNA since 1993.
If you truly give them a chance and listen to every FNM song, even their covers.... musical arrangements and with Mike’s vocal rage and range: utter brilliance!!! 👌🏽 I still love and appreciate them very much. They are to me, the epitome of musical geniuses.

Underrated band, underrated song, underrated music video. "Epic" isn't the only thing they did, nor is it their best, in my opinion.
Lmao... uhh...wut..? What in gods name are you talking about 😂🤣 is this sarcasm or irony..? What is this comment??
@@bustersales6921 iykyk. But if you don't, you... Uh... Well, you don't.
One of the best albums of all time
This song is still relevant.
I´ll always wonder why Mike Patton is so underrated. Unless he becomes mainstream someday (obviously not)....
TERRIFIC voice, great artist.🫶
Mike Patton doesn't care about being mainstream.
I watched video croissant on VHS over and over as a youth. Amazing times.
Hell yeah 😎🤘
I was in HS and MTV promoted this video a few week ahead of time. I called off work at the grocery store after school to watch it! This is my favorite album of all time. Angel dust...
One of the greatest bands EVER.
only one million? fuck this world!!!
Love how this soft focus, high budget, epic video was followed by the one for everything's ruined
MAN! The melody of the chorus/guitar is just perfect, its like glued to my mind
When I bought angel dust I was also reading the "dark tower" books by Steven King. I would play this album over and over while reading those books and I know I came close to discovering a new world.
I see you remember the face of your father! But, alas, the world has moved on.
thats that
Lol I was reading Lord of the rings when listening to this album. So many memories
Mike Patton patrimonio dell’umanità 🤘🏻🙌🏻
Closer to god - NiN and this song 💖
Angel dust came out when I was going through puberty. I use to put it in the CD player on repeat when I went to bed and made my life so much better at that time. Angle dust is so crisp and clean. Love that album
Amazing album. Mike Patton is out of this world gorgeous in this video 😍
Everything about this is perfect.
can't believe this is the first i've seen of this. I've been listening to this album for more than half my life.
Same here. I used to think I understood what this song meant, but after seeing this video, I'm more confused.
I loved this video as a teenager.
(This album is truly timeless.)
They just played 2 new songs live this month!
Linkuto
It is also about losing as well.
Overall I think it is about the basis of people being manipulated through forms of competition and how this competition can bring out both the good and evil traits we have.
I thought it was more to do with not actually winning and letting down a father with high expectations who wanted to live vicariously through his child.
i love this band
Fantastic song.
He’s so gorgeous
It doesn't matter if I sit down and play this song, or if I walk into a room that this song is being played mid-tune: I will ALWAYS know the EXACT word to lip-synch to, DRAMATICALLY. This song is simply etched into my DNA since 1993.
The main guitar theme in this song is simply a balm for the ears!
ANGEL DUST is one of the best albums ever made and Patton is a phenomenal vocalist. So many nu metal frontmen owe a huge debt to him………
Superlative musicianship and vocals! Bravo! Bravo! FNM❤
If you truly give them a chance and listen to every FNM song, even their covers.... musical arrangements and with Mike’s vocal rage and range: utter brilliance!!! 👌🏽 I still love and appreciate them very much. They are to me, the epitome of musical geniuses.
One of my favorite songs from the 90s 😊
THAT was music.Thanx I was young back then. Todays music sucks BIG time.
