Oh I really like to see the profile on high profile criminals with personality disorders. Both contemporary and olds school villains like Bundy or Al Capone.
Have you ever ran into a person you believed it was comorbid in? As in a person with both BPD/NPD. I had a very intense relationship with someone who displayed aspects of both. I too, have several traits from both. It seemed like we took turns idealizing and devaluing each other.
I would say I have traits of both, I can slip into a narcissistic head when I at work or social interactions as a way of protecting myself, and I think this can be common in men with mental health since society really doesn’t like us to have emotions. I don’t think it’s possible to have both conditions fully however, at the core, npd is a lack of empathy, I can turn mine on and off, I seem to have more empathy for groups of people rather than in individual interactions. Bpd is overwhelming empathy with guilty and worthlessness, which is not npd. But I agree, heavy traits of both is possible.
