Why can’t I have you as my doctor?!?!? You are so helpful and my current doctor openly tells me she wasn’t taught this stuff so she doesn’t know and wants to pass me around to other doctors who also dont know .
Not to be a contrarian but I have always had less than half of what I "should" have, around 20 grams of protein a day yet all those bloodwork numbers are normal, I'm healthy, around 100 lbs and need no medications approaching 60. All glory to God.
You should be doing more than 8lb dumbells. My 3 year old could lift that weight. I'm older than you and do far more. You will need to up it to keep strength and fitness into old age . You will also need to add weight/ resistance training for all areas of the body, chest, back, shoulders, legs, glutes ( ex PT instructor) therefore, you will need to up your protein intake
On a whole food plant based diet for years, also a postmenopausal bodybuilder. I make sure I get extra protein, like 150 grams a day. I feel much better since I've been doing so.

A high fat, low carbohydrate or zero carbohydrate diet will help. Mitochondria produce more water when converting ketones during the energy conversion process than with glucose. It is also significantly more inflammatory when converting glucose to ATP or heat than ketones.
Look up Salt Sole (pronounced so-lay) drinking this in water helps the water get into your cells so it can hydrate you where just drinking water does not. First and foremost thank you so much doctor for uploading this extremely important informative life saving video. Doctor Jason Fung recetly uploaded a video that contradicts the traditional belief that someone engaged in weight training needs 1.6 to 2 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight, as this is considered the optimal amount to repair micro-damage through protein synthesis. In contrast, a sedentary person typically requires just 0.8 g per kilogram of body weight. He explains that 0.8 g upto 1 g per kilogram of body weight is sufficient to build muscle and anything extra ingested protein turns to glucose and stored in the cells so body utilises even even little amount of protein most effectively without having to take so much protein It is the only video uploaded on his channel on UA-cam that recommends the most little amount of protein needs to be taken while here on youtube vast majority of muscle building videos explain that those who train need to consume even upto 2.5 g/kg of body justifying it referencing to various studies
Dear Dr. Sung, In a recent video it was said that milk and dairy products are not good. What about whey protein? Can I take it to meet my protein needs? Or which Protein should i Take? instead of meat?
As a senior ( above 70 ) - In my observation; assuming other negative factors are not prominent- it’s more important to adopt regular exercise than to have a protein rich diet . . Protein intake and “helpful” supplements are the #2 factor
Some IF or even extended fast-ing can remodel gut biome fixing some brain fog issues if their related to gut. Taking fish oil(cod liver oil is best) for epa/dha is huge for brain health too.

Maybe you have a low stomach acid. That is why the doctor recommended apple cider vinegar or betaine HCl to digest meat well, and absorb iron, folate, B12 etc. the food we eat. That is why it is also recommended to choose the fatty part of the meat
Maybe I will try hydrochlorid acid after my pregnancy, but apple cider vinegar makes my acid reflux so much worse. I have histamine issues, so fermented staff makes it worse.
@@kadimetsamagi6417 I agree with that, people with acid reflux for years and try apple cider vinegar for the first time or so, makes their stomach upset more. (Which also happened to me) So I started with betaine HCl, after that I'll go with apple cider vinegar before the meal. If you're suffering with histamine better not to eat fermented foods or foods high with histamine for a while. Wishing you good health and pregnancy ❤️❤️
I came to the comments section to thank Dr. Jin W. Sung for using the metric system in this vid. Then I found your message. I hope you realise that the US, Liberia and Myanmar are the only countries that are still using the imperial system. The rest of the world is on the metric system.
@JM888-m1q it's mostly my higher self or my guardian angels...9 times out of ten I can prove the truth I speak too. The rest comes from intuition. Too much protein reduces your bodies ability to heal itself from the training. Give it a research. I used to consume loads then I reduced it massively and healed in 3 days like usual. I put on 13kg of muscle in one year so that's 1.2 kg a month. Ronnie Coleman whom took steroids only put on 1kg per month. He spoke of this himself.

I think I have digestive inflammation 😮 What to do if I can’t digest apple cider vinegar ? I always end up dehydrated it dries out my skin.
Try taking a pinch of Celtic or sea salt when drinking water to absorb the water into your cells. That should help with your hydration.
