Ty so much for this info doctor. I lost a baby to preeclampsia in 2021, and was surprised to find out i was pregnant again this year.... Needless to say, the fear struck me, and for a while, i was unable to enjoy the blessing at all. I'm now in my third tri and struggling a little with my BP some days. And i came across your videos when seeing what else could help, and they hve been much help. I also send them to my family & friends who also have HBP or A-fib. Please continue to do what you do and keep watering us 😊 God bless you & all who read this. Thanks again.

First time following this site. This physician seems very legit to me. No hyped dramatic claims etc. I felt as though I was listening to an actual lecture, I took notes for my own reference to inform my nutrition and determination to not need
medications ….by intentional nutrition to support positive overall health. At 74/I do not require any meds, tightening up my nutrition to keep it that way
This is somebody I would consult ….and I am very picky. Glad I stumbled on to
    his site….Subscribed

I'm glad to see so many doctors finally catching on. My Doc taught me this in the early '90s! She was considered a quack and even investigated by the FBI for giving false advice! Now things like NAC, Mag, COQ10, chelation, and H2O2 therapy, among so many others, are pitched by every good Doctor! Way to go, Dr. Braun Dallas, Tx! I don't know if you are still out there somewhere. But God used you to save my life!

So many of those foods high in magnesium are so high in OXALATES that it can cause kidney problems, joint and muscle pain and other health problems. Foods high in oxalates: spinach, almonds, chard, chocolate, buckwheat, sweet potatoes, cashews, hazelnuts, cassava, chives, peanuts
K2 is also available from the Japanese food Natto or as a supplement from natto.

I’ve been watching dozens of these videos, but this one in particular I found the most informative. Dr. Jin not only provides detailed information, but his technique of delivery allows non-medical folks to easily understand the mechanics behind magnesium. He clearly explains the dose rate under various conditions. Now I’m less paranoid about taking this stuff. I also like that he also addressed the mixing the magnesium types, and the half-life of 1000 mg was helpful to know.

Thank you doctor for your detailed explanation of the different magnesiums and thier usage. I started with AF and chest pain. I started taking magnesium a tri combination . I asked my cardiologist if magnesium would help my condition but she just poo pooed it and didn't really comment. I was listed for a stent valve but carried out with the magnesium and my chest pain reduced quite a bit. I still attended for valve insertion and the doctor there said it wasn't that bad so obviously it must have been working as i had been in agony before the magnesium. I don't understand why the doctor didn't anser me when i asked her about taking it. I am now taking magnesium Glycinate and am sleeping well. Thank you so much.

I usually take glycinate on some days and citrate on the other days so as to avoid the dependency of citrate on bowel movements. Also as you rightly suggested, on some days the supplement is avoided as the mineral stays in the system for more than a month. A combination of foods rich in magnesium (not dark chocolates) should also be considered with good sun exposure and moderate exercise and a good sleep with home made food is all someone needs to stay healthy. When taking Magnesium orally, and in order to maximize absorption (and to attain a high level of benefits), is it generally best to "take it with food" (or liquid?) - - and if so, how much and what kinds of food and liquids? Take it with a healthy fat? In order to attain the best bio-availability and utilization of the different forms of Magnesium, especially the pricier ones -- such as Magnesium L-Threonate. Best to take magnesium supplements "away from" certain other supplements, or "along with" certain other substances -- in order to maximize optimum absorption? Thanks!

One source of magnesium deficiency, which oftentimes doctors don't even realize to tell their patients, but is the very first warning that you hear when you see a PPI commercial (like Nexium) on television, is a magnesium deficiency. Mine manifested as very severe premature ventricular contractions. I thought I was having a heart attack. One week on magnesium and a CoQ10 supplement, and problem was solved. Never had another PVC again. PPIs change the acidity of the stomach, and this inhibits the absorption of minerals and vitamins in the stomach. As we get older, we have enough problems with vitamin deficiencies like B12 and magnesium.

Thank you Dr. for much needed information as most Dr’s are too busy and overwhelmed so it’s hard to take the time to inform their patients like you’re doing and it’s easier to write prescriptions. My issues are with hypertension, anxiety, constipation and depression so it appears as though my magnesium levels are low. I will have bloodwork done to confirm. I truly appreciate your patience, videos and general help. Thank you so very much and God bless you and your family. ❤❤❤

Query please: When a particular RDA dose of Magnesium Is recommended, is this referring to Elemental Magnesium or the overall dose of its particular form? Eg. A Magnesium Glycinate tablet is indicated to be 500mg; but contains only 90mg of Elemental Magnesium.

I am looking for a magnesium supplement that will help me with sleep, as well as digestion. I currently take magnesium oxide, but I was told magnesium glycate is best for sleep, and magnesium citrate is best for promoting bowel movements. I would prefer to take one form of magnesium rather than three different pills is there such a thing? Does Mag glycinate aid in digestion as well?

That was very helpful in understanding how to use the various forms of Magnesium. I Take Mg Taurate to help with BP, IR, migraines, sleep & constipation along with Garlic & Choline to help absorption. Also an occasional foot soak in Epsom Salts. I was using Mg Glycinate but have since been using Glycine powder alone as a sweetener which works really well. It is about 1/3 as sweet as sugar and since it is an amino acid it has no BG effect. Constipation has improved considerably since going Carnivore as it seems to help with motility w/o the loose stool issues.

Ive been taking MG Glycinate -- 400 mg a day and sometimes 600 Mg. I went in for an EKG for surgery preop and I had a first degree AV Block. The EP said not to worry but suggested my supplements may have caused the reading.

That's what I'm afraid of also. People taking magnesium willy nilly. Excessive serum magnesium can trigger torsades de pointes, which is a cardiac arrhythmia that can cause a fatal cardiac arrest. I wish these doctors would tread carefully with magnesium supplements.

    • @donmulder8061
      @donmulder8061 Рік тому +2

@@jblair8746 I don't know. That's why I'm asking. I've never had such an EKG reading before. A 1st Degree AV Block is essentially a prolonged PR interval where that part of the sinus rhythm is slower.... beyond 200 milliseconds so in a way the EKG was calmed in that sense.
