- Great Wall Tank 300 safety test
The GWM Tank 300 was introduced in Australia in December 2022. This ANCAP safety rating applies to hybrid variants.
Dual frontal, side head-protecting (curtain), and front row side airbags are standard. A centre airbag to prevent occupant-to-occupant interaction is also fitted as standard. Autonomous emergency braking (Car-to-Car, Vulnerable Road User and Junction Assist), a lane support system with lane keep assist (LKA), lane departure warning (LDW) and emergency lane keeping (ELK), and blind spot monitoring (BSM) are standard.
The passenger compartment of the GWM Tank 300 remained
stable in the frontal offset (MPDB) test. Dummy readings for the
driver and front passenger showed GOOD protection for all critical
body regions.
The front structure of the GWM Tank 300 presented a higher risk
to occupants of an oncoming vehicle in the MPDB test (which
evaluates vehicle-to-vehicle compatibility), and a 4.00 point
penalty was applied.
In the full width frontal test, protection of the driver dummy was
GOOD for all critical body areas. Protection of the rear passenger
neck was ADEQUATE, and protection of the head and chest was
WEAK.
In the side impact test, protection of all critical body areas for the
driver was GOOD and the GWM Tank 300 scored maximum points.
In the oblique pole test, protection of the chest was ADEQUATE,
and all other critical body areas were GOOD.
The GWM Tank 300 is equipped with a centre airbag to protect
against occupant-to-occupant interaction in side impacts, and
it provided GOOD protection for the head of both front seat
occupants. Prevention of excursion (movement towards the other
side of the vehicle) in the far side impact tests was assessed as
GOOD for the vehicle-to-vehicle impact scenario, and ADEQUATE
in the vehicle-to-pole scenario.
In the frontal offset test and side impact tests, protection of the 10
year dummy and of the 6 year dummy was GOOD for all critical
body regions. The GWM Tank 300 scored the maximum possible
points in each of these tests.
The GWM Tank 300 is fitted with lower ISOFix anchorages on
rear outboard seats of the second row. Top tether anchorages are
available on all seats in the second row.
Installation of typical child restraints available in Australia and New
Zealand showed most child restraints could be accommodated
in most rear seating positions, however the Type E booster seat
could not be correctly installed in the centre rear position.
The bonnet of the GWM Tank 300 provided a range of MARGINAL
to GOOD protection to the head of a struck pedestrian over most
of its surface, with WEAK and POOR results recorded at the front
of the bonnet. The front grill showed GOOD results for the pelvis,
while the bumper provided a mix of ADEQUATE and GOOD
protection to pedestrians’ legs.
The GWM Tank 300 is fitted with an autonomous emergency
braking (AEB) system capable of recognising and reacting
to pedestrians and cyclists. Testing of this system showed
ADEQUATE performance in forward pedestrian test scenarios.
In cyclist test scenarios, the AEB system offered GOOD overall
performance.
The GWM Tank 300 is fitted with an AEB system that is active while
reversing, however performance was unable to be demonstrated
in test conditions and no points were scored.

As a previous car salesman myself for Isuzu, Chevrolet, Opel(Vauxhall) and Mazda. I must say China's automotive industry is progressing at a rapid rate. They are starting to knock every area out of the park. Rate they will be regarded as the best in the next few coming years or so.
Copying, stealing design and use of substandard parts in cars is not progress, don't get swayed by looks, looks like you support CCP child labourers.

There's problems in each and every country. Your country most probably has human trafficking, corruption etc. I have friends that work in China. They work with Chinese colleagues. Everyone earns a salary, everyone has cars or bikes, a home etc. Same like your country.

They see a market that makes money and do the same. Happens everywhere. China is starting to excel in a lot of different markets. Rightfully so because they are a huge country. I think that Chinese manufacturers should make vehicles with Western design parts that are easy to get in our countries, so that if the brand goes bankrupt it is very easy to get spare parts. They need better vehicles that are cheap to buy, I think they should continue manufacturing ultra cars ultra ultra cheap to produce like the ones now but that work better in the third world, with a gearbox, that can climb very steep slopes without destroying the engine, segment A, B, C monocoque with ultra-slow gearbox and ergonomic inside, I also think that manufacturers should take advantage of many market niches, there are many products that are really needed. I think that simply the product to sell should be better better better better better. CHINESE engineers should come here to South America to notice the bad and very inclined roads that exist even in the cities. 1.Manufacturers need to listen more to potential buyers, in the videos they should put links to EASILY send proposals and suggestions to the manufacturer.

It looks pretty good, it withstands the crashtest, the price is good.

Too high consumption for 2.0 petrol engine. About 15-17 liters per 100km in the city.
And I write it from Russia where petrol is rather cheap and it's price is about 0,6USD per liter.

Очень круто! Главное чтобы было и надёжно. Цены на авто летят в космос и менять авто как раньше каждые три года скоро будет только привилегией 1% людей. Так что с гарантией 5 - 7 лет на Танки они порвут рынок внедорожников в клочья, чего им и желаю. Главное чтобы цена не сильно отличалась от заявленной.

Супер! Единственное что всегда интересно было в тестах экстренного торможения, как автомобили себя поведут на скользкой зимней дороге, а не на сухом асфальте?!
И так понятно как. Все зависит от сцепных свойств конкретных шин и реального состояния покрытия, но ни одна электроника пока не учитывает сцепные свойства авто с дорогой. Так что собьет. Но скорость снизит и последствия будут все же менее фатальными, нежели без этой функции

I have lane-assist on my new car, and hate it, as it takes control from me pulling my vehicle to one side - so I switch it off each time I drive it. If you can’t drive a car and keep it under control and within your lane you shouldn’t be driving ANY vehicle.
The only reason all the driver assistance tech is installed in cars is because governments legislation says it's required for 5 star safety rating. China aimed at Australia for this vehicle and the safety tech is in legislation. You notice the ANCAP tests in footage.

I think only thing required and which I observed is all the test is for front and front seat, the back passengers airbags only once. Not much test for back passengers and back rail test is not shown with force.

@@nevoobrazimiy есть оригинал, а есть подделка. ncap оригинальный перестал пускать на тесты китайские тачки, т.к они не соответствовали уровню безопасности, по этому китайцы придумали свой тест, чтобы ссать в глаза и уши наивным покупателям. Китайцы если что, тоже ровняются на европу и своего у них по пальца пересчитать из современных технологий, просто довернули и подешевле сделали, как и этот авто копия ford bronco
@@roomslaver8628 незнаю про инфу что перестал, я видел тест омода и тест достойный, возможно китайцы сами не хотят марать реноме машины низким количиством звезд при том что это не будет свидетельствовать однозначно о том что машина небезопасная, условия на нкап жестче но китайцам нужно сохранять конкурентное преймущество цены перед брендами которые могут себе позволить ориентироваться на ncap. Китайцы правильно сделали что организовали свой тест, люди могут всё в нем посмотреть и решить для себя стоят ли какие-то дополнительные критерии евротеста того чтобы сразу отбраковывать китайские машины.

Аварии на дороге показываю очень слабую прочность и стойкость повреждениям китайскими авто. А эти тесты походу проводятся с особыми экземплярами - "подкрученными".

У паджеро меньше звезд. Начал разбираться. Почему у паджерика больше повреждений после всех ударов. Скачал доки. Выясняется. Паджеро тестировался на скорости 65 км. А танк на 50. Вот и весь секрет заездочек... Все куплено. Я давно заметил как разные организации пляшут под дудки тех, кто больше бабла занесет. Оон, обсе, теперь эта хрень. Тьфу. Продажный мир.
