They put SO MUCH love into this film. The dust coming off Neo during him vs Agent Smith after every punch, it's not a detail you see anymore. This felt so much more real than actual film today
I also liked the dust and asbestos coming off Morpheus when in the first Matrix movie he leaps through the wall to attack Agent Smith so it would provide a distraction so Neo Trinity and the others could escape. That was super brave. Lol. That took heart. The dust in that scene was the best. Also the old bathroom look, the crashing into the walls of it, the dust, the atmosphere, the detail, the intensity of the scene in general, it was done really well. One of my favorite parts of the entire Matrix series.
I love all the Matrix movies but I've always thought the Chateau fight is one of the best choreographed things I've ever seen. So much is going on at once. Almost all of the moves are not just one throw one block, but multiple actions going on at once. And when something lands, the aggressor keeps pursuing. It's a constant ballet of action.
@The One Also Warrior 2019 (Has Joe Taslim). I think that's the only good TV Series other than the one with Iko that had really good fight scenes. Thx for recommendations; the only good thing about the main comment (used to hate negative comparisons like those), is that people tend to share good similar alternatives
Same. Every day after school, my boys and I had a marathon of great fight scenes. Like every fight from Reloaded, the scene from Hero with Donnie Yen, every fight from Ong Bak and a bunch of others I can't remember right now. Those were good times.
Looking back I think Matrix Reloaded is the best of the trilogy. Because you finally really get to see Neo fight. Neo is super powerful and the movie conveys this so well. The problem with Revolutions is that Neo barely fights at all, excluding the epic final battle with Smith of course. Regardless, all three movies are great in their own ways.
I would’ve put Morpheus vs Smith (from the first one) in here. It was the first time we’ve seen someone actually try to stand against an Agent instead of hide or flee He even gave an exposition not too long before (to Neo) that Agents could dodge bullets and no one has survived an encounter with them. After seeing Morpheus completely bloodied and beaten only after a min of fighting and only after a few blows, solidified the Agents as an absolute menace. You realize now that fighting Smith was like fighting the Terminator (which in turn makes the subsequent Neo fight so much more special/impactful)
The interest thing about the first movie is, when Neo and Morpheus fight, Neo's struggling most the fight to get a good hit on him, but when he fights Smith in the Subway, he's almost the same skill level unlike how Morpheus didn't stand a chance against Smith in the bathroom area getting beaten up like hell.
Matrix are those types of movies you can watch over and over again and not get sick of them!!! Ill be watching these well into my late years my go to movie for sure 👍
No 'Burly Brawl' vs the multpile Agent Simths. I knowbthe CGI is a bit ripey but for 'Neo is The One' action it was always my favourite. He goes to town with the metal post.
It's funny you say that, in Neo vs Morpheus just after where it cuts off and they go to sqaure up again Neo is holding a Wing Chun chance before changing it right before they engage. Wish we'd seen more, Wing Chun with rule-bending speed and strength would be a really threating force in the Matrix world.
Really nice compilation. Got me super hyped. I would only switch out the twins fight for Morpheus' fight with Agent Smith in The Matrix, and maybe either Trinity's fight with cops in the opening of The Matrix, or her fight with the agent in Reloaded.
modern day movie action scene uses very close camera capture, my mind always is working to fill and unserstand the gaps when the camera moves. But what you see here is amazing, you can see every move from a distant camera with no extra brain work
@@matthewkolawole1763 not only that, he made his stunt team (including himself) wear padded clothes so that some of the punches and kicks actually hit the target to make it seem as real as possible.

Notice how Seraph is probably the only one other than Oracle Smith that can withstand combat with enhanced Neo without being properly defeated, just hit once or twice.
Fun Fact: The final fight in the first movie with Agent Smith- Neo is performing all the moves Mr. Miyagi taught Daniel in the first Karate Kid (wax on, wax off, paint the house, sand the floor, etc.)
