    • @PWR6MAN

      In almost every case of bullying, the bully is a much larger kid than those he bullied. I was bullied in HS by a kid who was 6’3”, 230 lbs, while I was 6’0 165. During one of our football games (both teams 5-0 in Conference, and playing for Conf. Championship in last game of the regular season) the “bully” forgot to go in on a special teams FG attempt, and it was blocked. Coach was furious and went on a rant about the kid, ending with “if you weren’t big, you wouldn’t be shit”!! The truth was finally spoken by someone with authority!
      My point: most bullies are bullies because they are physically much larger than their victims, and they bully because they don’t think there is any chance they’ll be harmed due to being so much bigger. I fucking hate seeing that happen to much smaller kids. They typically don’t stand a chance in hell of protecting themselves, unless they utilize a weapon of some sort - and therein lies the problem with the smaller victim trying to level the playing field the only way they can. Then THEY get in trouble…

      My daughter got suspended for pushing a boy down. They were going into the school in the morning and he shoved her out of the way. Teacher saw this and did nothing. He then pushed her back again so his buddies could walk ahead of her. Again, teacher saw and did nothing. He started laughing at her and she calmly told him if he touched her again she’d take him down. He laughed at her and she told him she’s got a brown belt in Tae Kwan Do. He says “oooooo” and shoved her again. She took him down. SHE was sent to the office and suspended for excessive behaviour. They called me in and said She’d be suspended for 3 days. “How would you like to handle this?”
      I said, first im Going to high five her . Then I’m going to treat her to lunch and a movie.

      That’s a good mom! My mom always fought for me. I was bullied by this one kid so much, I swung back and immediately got detention for it. My mom came to the school and said, “you’re not keeping him here for standing up first himself. I’m taking him home!” When that same bully started attacking me over Facebook, my mom took the evidence to my principal. He said, we cannot prove it’s him from the Facebook posts alone. She claimed BS. She’s then went to all of my schools “Zero tolerance for bullying” signs and ripped them down 1 by 1. They asked her why and she said, “well clearly you tolerate it when it happens to my son, so I don’t want you lying to the rest of the students here. You don’t fight bullying, you protect it and punish the kids who fight back.” She walked me out to the car, and the guidance counselor came back and told her how courageous that was, and that the principal was the kind of guy that ignores bullying problems hoping they’d go away. I’m the last of 5 children, so bullying wasn’t new to her and she said, “I’ve dealt with this for 4 other kids. I’m tired of hearing that situations will get dealt with and then they never do.” After we left, she got me McDonald’s.

    I was bullied terribly until started lifting weights at age 16. Worried my son would too. Somehow he was big, strong, no fear, scary. Some little skinny kid told him he was in his seat at lunch. The kid's very big friend just said, "i wouldn't do that if I were you". By junior year h.s. he was 6'1", 260 lbs, bench 300, squat 600, dead lift 525, football captain. So proud when he told me he makes sure no one bullies the special kids.

    When I was a freshman in high school, I would get bullied, harassed and beat up by the same kid, daily. After about a two months of this going on, nearly everyday, I finally lost it. Out of nowhere, I jumped up on the lunch table he was eating at, in the cafeteria and I proceeded to field goal kick his face.
    I ended up getting suspended for 3 days but when I told my parents what had been going on and why I did what I did, they told me that they understood and they weren’t mad at me.
    A couple weeks after my suspension ended, that same kid was kicked out of school for bringing a knife to school. Everything worked out for me but I’ve always wondered if he had brought that knife to school with plans of using it on me. 🤷‍♂️
    Thankfully, I didn’t have to find out and I never crossed paths with him ever again. This was the worst bully interaction I have ever experienced.

      Jesus... I'm sorry, mate. I'm so thankful your parents understood though. My own mother defended the bullies. When we seek our own justice as kids, when we get it, later on we regret it. It's so sad that adults don't intervene like they should. Just expel kids and never ask questions. Anyone who fights is the villain, regardless of circumstances. It's never that black and white.

      OfficialGrantFisher Unless it’s the streets. If someone is getting up in your face, take them out before they have the chance to pull a knife out on you and kill you. You don’t know what they have on them. 9mm pistol? Maybe. A razor sharp hunting knife with a fuller/blood groove in it? Maybe. Sometimes you can’t be nice in the streets, and who’s to say that you’ll see the punch coming and react before it lands? For the purposes of self defense, I studied Muay Thai, boxing and Kali. However no crystallization or martial art can make you a perfect fighter. Human fighting is very complex, but relies on 3 main factors. Those are the 5 senses, strength, and adaptability of the fighter. The reason Bruce Lee told people to flow like water is to make them revert away from a crystallization that someone may have thought was perfect and learn how to defend oneself properly in any combat situation against any person. If he’s a boxer and has a guard up, throws crosses, hooks and jabs, start using leg kicks on him and wait for openings, or use open handed Kali entries on him if you can see the punches coming. Throwing fast and frequent punches to the head can disorient the attacker and let you move in for more powerful, brain damage inducing blows if you’re in the right position, for the punches, I’d just use fast jabs to the temple, and quite a multitude of them, and rattle their brain around for a bit with those punches. You could also use weapons such as desks and rocks to fight as well. Taking a piece of red iron pyrite to the teeth of the person might just be necessary if he’s got a knife and you’re rolling on the ground with him.

    One of my friends used to come to school with black eyes. It wasn’t from other kids, it was his old man. His dad was an asshole sober and even worse drunk. Used his son as a punching bag. In sixth grade he took his own life with his father’s shotgun. 12 years old. It was the mid 80s. I’d like to think that can’t happen today but it probably still does.

    I got picked on alot when I was a kid, then I became tired of it. I was jumped by 3 kids in 7th grade at recess. I was bleeding, but I was the only one standing. Half of the school watched it. You can only be pushed so much. All because I was skinny. Yes, you heard that right. I was skinny. Back in 1992, you would be beaten for that sort of thing. It wasn't my choice. My dad was a p.o.s. so there wasn't much food for me. He wouldn't work. I remember getting beat up by him that day because I received a suspension for fighting. He beat me alot up until I turned 18. Then I turned into Statham. I haven't spoken to him since and I've never been beat up since. I want to always be nice to everyone.

    • @loganblackwood2922
      @loganblackwood2922 Місяць тому +2

      I understand, mate. I was scrawny, averse to fighting. I got bullied, pushed too far and then I pushed back way too far. I bullied my bully. I even got cruel, started to ritually humiliate people that had it in for me. My father wasn't the abuser though, it was my mother. I realised eventually I was taking out my abusive upbringing on other kids tormented by their abusive upbringing. Momentary satisfaction was great, the hate and self hate that followed years later, it wasn't worth it. When random people say be the better person, it sounds like "be a lil beach" but, I think back more appropriately was don't be a person you wouldn't respect. Hope things are good for you now, brother.

    I was bullied all throughout elementary and middle school. Then in 8th grade, I was getting pushed around by two kids and I just lost it. Speared one, got up and started wailing on the other. I ended losing the fight in the end but held my ground. Then when I reached high school, I joined the wrestling team and started lifting weights and whenever someone attempted to bully me, I didn't back down and eventually no one messed with me ever again.

    • @ajregalia1334

      None of there are great ways to deal with bullies
      If you're a maybe 50-60 lb kid going up against someone twice your size and weight you don't win that fight, and 1 grown man taking on 5 other grown men his same height and weight is make believe. Lastly assaulting a person at their home, threatening their child, and explicitly name dropping that it's because of a person that kid bullies will just land you in jail. And the very second you're in jail you can't protect your kid from that bully who may now want payback for what you did to his dad.
      These are meant to appeal to emotion and wish fulfillment

    • @ModeratelyAmused
      @ModeratelyAmused Місяць тому

      @@ajregalia1334 i'm talking about the directors intent. like for example, the third should be obvious that the dad traumatized his son more than the bully ever did. so i was just pointing out the first two that weren't so obvious.
