Well guess who is going to buy more bits that I don’t need
lol well it's just so tight in the tool box look at it.
Same
I use the best bit, which is produced in Japan.
Gene I use all Japanese tools.
Always lookin for bits, 15 different sets, and always need the only one missing
By the way just wanted to say thank you my aunt happened to be over my house a few hours ago and I showed her last night's video and the part where you mentioned my grandfather being a pilot in World War II but he was my hero and it basically almost brought tears to our eyes just wanted to say thank you and my aunt my father's sister obviously we're so happy to hear that
When he hung the driver on that long bit... I decided to go get the set.
The bosch impact bits can do that as well
Lukie4ever Bass I want to get the Bosch impact driver so I can share batteries with my drill and jigsaw but I will get the makita bit set as the video just blew me away!
@@lukie4ever Makita Impact XPS bits are Nickel coated, so they don't rust, while Bosch's are just black phosphated. If you work outdoors...
This set is the answer to their old gold bits that were under-sized and cammed out constantly, almost like they were for a different screw standard. This set is for exact US specs now. Very impressive, I'm super happy with my set I've been using for a few months now.
One word: MAKITA! 😎👍
Makita is high class and high quality!
@donkey ass reviews and do's same still have two corded drills from the 80's, will still out power anything out there!!
Like the new bits so far; & really like the way the bits come out of case easily....even if wearing gloves.
So far, happy, & hope will continue to stay that way w/ these bits.
Cheers✌🏼
Pretty impressive. Never seen anything quite like that before. Good job Makita.
As a Canadian, thank you for calling the square driver bits Robertson. 👍👍
That stuff at the end is AMAZING! When my Dewalt bits are spent, I'm buying these.
Excellent presentation of an excellent driver/bit set. Cracked me up when Vince just stopped talking.... you know it must be good if Vince just up and stops talking. It was so dramatic. hahhaa
I probably have 20+ bit cases of different brands but now I need just one more
I bought these because in the past I have stripped and broken many bits and screws using impact drivers or high power drills in diy projects. These are truly incredible.
I'm gunna have to check these out. Been a big fan of their gold tips.
I'm glad I found your channel. Great stuff. The Project Farm channel did a test on multiple sets of driver bits.
Wow! Love this review! Thank you.
Just picked these up! Amazing set. Priced right as well
Man i love your reviews and content need that set
dude, I love your personality it makes these videos that much better! I don't know how you didn't mess up not one of those screws when you aggressively onto the 2 x 4 you're a beast!
The T25 bits do grip really well. Thank you for the video!
Good video!!! Great singer, with deep and wide voice qualities!!! That's why you have got the great show on web - great technical info, great humour, great vocal capabilities...
wow i know what im trying next. Thanks for sharing!
I know this has been mentioned on TTR before and I corrected then and I guess my comment was not heard but 2 sheets of 20 gauge steel does not equal the thickness of 10-gauge steel.
2 pieces of 20 gauge steel is the equivalent thickness of 14 gauge steel.
20ga is 0.91mm
14ga is 1.89mm
10ga is 3.41mm
so you can see one sheet of 10 gauge would be much closer to 4 sheets of 20 gauge
You were serious Jason? I thought you were pulling my leg!! 🤣🤣 thanks!
@@VCGConstruction all good! You know I love you and all of your vids. And I hope you know my reason forstating this is not for the purpose of correcting you it's more for the purpose of people watching the video not to accidentally get the wrong information. Thanks for the video!
Come on cuz, we appreciate you helping out! You know I don’t have all the answers, and always look to the #VeryCoolGang for help!
And regular 20 gauge steel is not true 20 gauge. That's special order.
And framing with true 10 gauge is not fun. Factories like to use that kind of stuff.
I love your videos 🙏 keep it up, thanks a million!
Awesome.....its about time😀😀😀thanks for all your vids.
“Cut all your 18 gauge by hand” i just went through that hell a month ago and wish it upon no one 💀
🤣🤣👍🏻
Try 16 gauge lol
Jesse Razo No thanks 😂
I’m impressed!!!
after seeing how well the bit stayed in the screws im thinking I'll give them a try and compare them to the max fit.
TheVdog12 and you’re talking about what? Max fit?
It’s good to see higher quality bits are finally being sold in the US. I’ve been using Japanese and Wera bits for 20 years. Most Japanese tools follow JIS standards along with fasteners. That means the fit is perfect 98% of the time.
I thought wera was a German company?
@@robertopics it is German, but their + tips are JIS standard.
So nice to see a quality bit, quality tool, quality operator in one video. Just a really good presentation of a really good tool.
Rafael Marin tocayo
Thanks Rafael, we appreciate it!
Bought them few hours ago and the 6 inch adapter actually got what u got in video and was thinking wish Vince had a video on the bits and bam here it is live the channel
Makita is latin for SUPERIOR JAPANESE TECHNOLOGY!
Milwaukee is American for American Superior Tech!!!
@@timmytombstone2028 It’s owned by a Chinese company.
I was freaking out after the extension held on the threads of that screw. Great job Makita and VCG.
I bought these today had a good feeling they were quality. Now I watch this and it confirms my intuition. Good stuff man. Keep up the good vids.
How did they hold up ? How many you broke already?
#2 grabber bits are my all time favorite. Never had a bit that works that well.
Thanks for the feedback cuz!
@VCG CONSTRUCTION Another awesome video thank you for all the info and knowledge
I wish I could get half as excited about anything as this guy gets about everything 😁 Love the energy man.......never stop 👍🏻
Have you tried cocaine?
Thank u for the great content VCG Construction 👍
Thanks George we appreciate it!
Almost bought these today, guess I’ll be going back to Home Depot tomorrow morning for some bits.
just got these couple weeks ago, use it with my bosch impact and I love it
I'm impressed nice job Vince
I have to confess. The first time I came across one of your videos, I thought “this guy is loud and obnoxious” and I went away. Then every so often I’d come across another, and yeah still the same guy. Thing is, I kept coming back. That loud, obnoxious guy who I normally wouldn’t watch was actually really knowledgeable, entertaining and yes, still loud, obnoxious and I really enjoyed his content! As a homeowner/DIY/amateur woodworker I find so much value in your channel. Keep up the great work and keep being you! Subbed and notifications on!
Nice! Can’t wait to see the wall finished 👍
❤️
Me and my brother were just talking about bits the other day. 16gauge flat strap killing our bits. Glad I saw this.
Sometimes you just can’t help having to pre-drill
@@VCGConstruction that sounds chill, but my boss would bitch me out for predrilling haha.
Hope you guys are having a good evening! Great Video ! Keep up the good work! 🤙🧰🤙
Glad I didn't stock up on the gold bits while they were on clearance. Thx for the review!
Thanks Donnie!
Wow I'm impressed! I know Makita makes quality products, but these bits are on another level.
Yea they make some of the best if not the best imo. Only just to have have more bits I bought another kit after my first one several years ago. They are extremely durable as well.
Bro! So glad I went with makita! Make that last frame the thumbnail haha that's crazy its holding that driver up
NIIIICE! Gotta say I love the Makita Mag Boost bit adapter, have like 11 of them. But I will say after extensive use when your switching bits back and forth the adapter loosens up a bit and I sometimes pull the older adapters off of the bit when removing the bit from the impact driver. Looks like the new ball bearing bit adapter from Makita might solve that problem. Kinda looks like a Dewalt one I have thats been out for a while. Just hope its as magnetic as the mag boost. One of my fav things to do with the mag boost is to dip my boosted #2 bit into my pouch of screws and let the magnetic power of the mag boost pull a nice amount of screws out that I can grab off the bit so I dont have to dig my hand into my pouch poking my fingertips.
Love this channel!!
Thanks Amrit we appreciate it!
Nice set!👍🏻
And here I was thinking the thumbnail was gonna be click bait needless to say I'm thoroughly impressed
Getting this set today
Heck yeah Vince! Bad to the bone channel for builders!!!!
I bought that set and I’ve been impressed
I’ll be at Home Depot in the morning
If there not closed that is lol.
Very nice makita know what thier doing might have to buy some myself I like the box as well Vince
Love the Makita 3in ph2's I leave them on a high powered magnet for about a week and they stay magnetized
my jaw hit the floor when the driver hung on with the extension bit.. shocked.. staggered... amazed... wtf.. hahha
I just ordered the kit. They look like the best out there now for sure.
Who doesn’t like a “tight fit”😉 great vid Vince
very nice
These bits will make an excellent addition to my XDT16 18V!!! Great video.
I saw this and decided to pick up the 6" #2 phils, I could set 3" brass wood screws upside down, and it would hold my 12v milwackme with a 4ah battery... overall that bit holds way better than the other craps that would keep snapping every time I wanted to set a screw larger than 6"
Outstanding
Great show, I love my Makita tools ⚒ ...
Making me want to buy Makita stuff again now
Wow.... Amazing. I´m sure gonna get that set of bits.
You should!
nice demo on holding power!!!
Thanks
Yeah, I'm sold!
Great show vince
More importantly, these bits are made in TAIWAN!
I am a veterinary student form Taiwan college. Also, I am Taiwanese!!!
Hey, who says you can’t use 3” drywall screws for building construction. I’ve built so many things with those😂 Now I use the T25 wood screws! Much easier!
OK... The balancing act with the long bit got me sold. And ONLY the long bit.
That’s crazy!
Cray
AGREED! Last the longest above all competitors. Thanks for the video!!!
Thanks for watching!
Woooooowww!!!!!!! That's crazy bro
Broke a Dewalt impact bit two days ago and started to look around for other options. Happen on your video and was very excited about this new Makita XPS. Bought one of their sets today so I could get multiple # 2 XPS bits. Holy cow, they did not disappoint. One of my buddies was also amazed at how well those bits fit in the screws. Thanks so much
Nice vid man, definitely getting some of those! If you havent check out makitas oil impulse driver, its nice when youre in a box or an enclosed space.
You just made a believer and all so Makita a million
That really is AMAZING...nerver saw that kind of a tight fit...you should test some WIHA or WERA bits to see if they do that(because they ar better then dewalt milwaukee etc im general) that i would love to see 😊😊
By chance, about a month ago, it was a random Wiha bit I used when I hung (hanged?) the same Makita impact off of a phillips screw to show a friend how bits are supposed to fit. So, depending on the production run, sure. I throw bits out when they don’t hold a screw tight as showcased in this video. It’s my expectation and not novel to these Makita bits. There are exceptions, however. Coincidentally, the Vessel bits that Makita were previously distributing are purposely rounded down in the tumbler with the end goal of them lasting longer. Pretty much the same philosophy as edge tools: the sharper it is, the quicker it loses that edge. I don’t want to knock HD, Lowes, Ace and Menards too hard, but from what I’ve seen, I imagine their buyers muscle the power tool brands to resell cut rate bits that the retailers, in turn, charge way too much for. They tend to stock some excellent consumables in other categories. When I look at the prices at HD on suspect bits...they’re higher than the industrial brands. But yes, Zephyr, Apex, Felo, PB Swiss, Witte, Wiha, Klein, and Wera all do that. However, I’d have to imagine that there’s stuff from Taiwan and China that do just as well. Makita’s getting these from a Taiwanese company. Wiha’s bits come out of their Vietnamese plant now. Wera moved production to Czech Republic ages ago. That makes these fancy German bits as German as Makita. 😂
That made me happy.
Glad we could help!
@@VCGConstruction makita NEEDS to cut you a fat check for this one bro. Lol
Sweet!
@VGC Construction. Wow Vince. An 18V impact driver with a 5AH battery being held by a 6 inch Phillips bit with no magnet is truly amazing! Do you know any other magic tricks? Great review.
im a makita guy lol and im gald there stepping things up
Love this video. It proves your point very well! I too will be buying more bits I don't need and hardly ever use. lol
Damn bro. An i thought i was a makita fan. Shit u just started a war at my job LMMFAO. Other guys have Milwaukee. Dewalt. Ryobe. Bosch. Rigid. Its gonna be the power tool Olympics. Thanks for the idea!!!!
🤣🤣👍🏻
All hail the power tool Olympics!!✊
makita is the ONLY japanese brand and japanese machinery is supreme!
AMAZING
Yes yes yes... So far so good.
Been up all night with Arthitus and what seems to be the start off corana but thanks Vince ya made me laugh with all the enthusiasm you put into playing with your bits wifes going to let me get some if the virus dont get me first, keep up the good work Guys :). GB
I love my Makita impact. I do use Dewalt impact rated bits, I will be buying Makita impact rated bits once I run out of #2 philips bits. Great content.
Nice I was checking one out just yesterday for 99$ this video made want to pick one up today if they still have them.🤙
Love it when vince says "well lets test it out"
Followed by him stabbing a block of wood with a screw. 😄 🤣
Nice video quality.
good stuff
That makita looks nice....Makes me wanna go buy one LOL.
Brilliant
I think im gonna try these out
Lol. that is incredible. Makita is the goat for drill drivers hands down. I'm starting to come around on their other products too.
Need these in the UK!!!
That is crazy
I use Vega Bits and they will not do that. Very cool.
Thanks Vince and also I like your choice in gloves. I use the same gloves from the Depo.
Thanks Stephen Lee!
