    Yep was going to fly monday but I would have to leave the door unlocked for the contractor to get in and then I would be thinking all during my flight if They took anything. So therefore, I am not going to fly Monday so that I do not have that stress and nagging worry to mess up my flying.

    My recommendation is to keep your answers short and sweet. Answer only the question you’ve been asked in 5 words or less. If they want you to elaborate then they’ll ask. 👍

    • @Vincent12
      @Vincent12 10 місяців тому +2

      @@derickvo317 I watched a lot of mocks online and I also used a lot of flash cards. I preordered tabs for the FAR/AIM and put them in and highlighted the main sections. But mainly just went over stuff with my instructor. Airspace and weather and the two biggest things in my opinion. If you have those dialed in, you should be fine! You go this!

    My CFI wanted me to fly over the mountains at 500 feet above them and I refused and stayed 1000 feet above. We where crossing a small mountain. He said I am cautious when it comes to the flying over mountains and told me that 500 feet is acceptable. Well not for me - I have a minimum of 1000 feet above a mountain and If I can not do that then I will fly around or some other alternative. I stood up to the CFI as I was flying the airplane is there working on my first cross country. Very hard to get flight following in the LA basin. I will would of just taken the long way around then fly that close to a mountain to Deal with a Bravo Shelf.

    questions, to be a flight instructor. Does the flight instructor who is building their hours flying also have to teach ground class and give oral exams like this one to the students or is another teacher or does the flight instructor have to teach all of this as well.
