Registration is now 7 years instead of 3
it just changed recently thats why its not really mentioned well there
I dig the format. Please do more to help us student pilots.
ELT gets inspected every 12 cal months not 24.
Best way I have to remember this is 121.5 which is the helicopter emergency freq. 12mo, 1hr of cumulative use, half of battery usage
@@brockd1218 holy shit that's an actual amazing way to remember it
@@brockd1218 I'll be damned that is an amazing way to remember it!!!
@@brockd1218niceeeee

Correct
This video was extremely helpful! I will be looking forward to the next upcoming mock checkride videos!
Thanks for this! Im now prepping for my checkride. This was great
Very helpful, thank you! He did a great job :)
Darn it make this guy a DPE!!!! Wonderful mock oral, loved the relaxed nature of it!
Right??! Tim is the best CFI out there.
this is great. the best one i've fount yet
Essential for student pilots to have a solid understanding of airspace, navigation techniques, and fuel management to ensure safe and efficient flights. Great informative video thanks
Very interesting tidbit about how the vor works.
Yep was going to fly monday but I would have to leave the door unlocked for the contractor to get in and then I would be thinking all during my flight if They took anything. So therefore, I am not going to fly Monday so that I do not have that stress and nagging worry to mess up my flying.
My recommendation is to keep your answers short and sweet. Answer only the question you’ve been asked in 5 words or less. If they want you to elaborate then they’ll ask. 👍
This was the method my CFIs told me to utilize, so I did. The DPE still drug the oral out to last 4hrs. It was brutal.
Please do an instrument one!
the examiner is a legend
This video is great. Should have a million views.
Thank you for the support!
It's a small audience. Pilots are a rare breed.
Registration is good for 7 years now.
And B has 200 kts restrictions

currently in training to get my A&P license and was thinking about getting my private pilot’s license afterwards. this video was very informative and enjoyable. keep up the great videos!
also shoutout to the guy taking the mock oral. even with a newborn kid, he studied his ass off in order to get his info right for this. seems like a great guy
Thank you!
Waiting for part 2 of this video! Good stuff!
We are filming every week now so the videos will be coming soon!
like this guy. Qualioty
Thank you!
Thanks! I have my Checkride tomorrow and this has been the most helpful. Also a very well edited video
How did it go?
@@powerliftingpilot passed! I feel like I got extremely lucky with the oral though, he didn’t ask me all that much. He would ask me one question and then talk for 20 minutes lol
I’m getting close to my checkride. I’m confident in my ability to fly the plan within standards but nervous for the oral. How did you study for your oral?
@@derickvo317 I watched a lot of mocks online and I also used a lot of flash cards. I preordered tabs for the FAR/AIM and put them in and highlighted the main sections. But mainly just went over stuff with my instructor. Airspace and weather and the two biggest things in my opinion. If you have those dialed in, you should be fine! You go this!
My CFI wanted me to fly over the mountains at 500 feet above them and I refused and stayed 1000 feet above. We where crossing a small mountain. He said I am cautious when it comes to the flying over mountains and told me that 500 feet is acceptable. Well not for me - I have a minimum of 1000 feet above a mountain and If I can not do that then I will fly around or some other alternative. I stood up to the CFI as I was flying the airplane is there working on my first cross country. Very hard to get flight following in the LA basin. I will would of just taken the long way around then fly that close to a mountain to Deal with a Bravo Shelf.
ELT is 12 calendar months
25:18 is low key a genius way to remember the difference
Glad to hear that stood out!

questions, to be a flight instructor. Does the flight instructor who is building their hours flying also have to teach ground class and give oral exams like this one to the students or is another teacher or does the flight instructor have to teach all of this as well.
I really want to watch this, but I can't take the left-channel-only sound. Maybe I'll download it and fix it.

If I had a Beer for every time he said "cool" I would be to drunk to fly for an entire week.
This was great! Can you make more? IFR? Commercial and cfi oral checkrides?
Yes! We have 3 more Private that will be uploaded this week and next. We'll be uploading Instrument and others next! Glad you like it :)
@@pilotessentials would you be able to offer mock oral via zoom? I am in California and i need help. My checkride on the 20th of this month.

Did you pass ?
Aircraft registration is 7 years now not 3
Bravo does have a speed restriction (200kts)
Below the bravo and within VFR cooridors yes but not within the bravo itself. Unless under 10,000 feet 91.117(c)
I thought registration is every seven years now?
My man Brad Keselowski flying airplanes now!
Registration is good for 7 years?
Registration for the aircraft expires in seven years now
Isn't registration good for 7 years now?
yes 47.40
I was just about to ask that question. I was 3, now I thought 7.
"The FAA is extending the duration of aircraft registration certificates from three to seven years, effective January 23, 2023."
@@jamilsalomonJan. 23rd is already passed so they already did
So much info to remember jeez
It can feel intimidating, but just take it one day at a time and you will get there!
If you were to mess up a couple of things but then correct yourself immediately does that affect your exam?
If you correct yourself that would be fine, but there’s no guarantee the examiner will give you time to correct yourself.
I recommend to slow down, take your time, and don’t blurt out answers before you’ve had a moment to think it over!
6:30 "Operating Handbook" is not a satisfactory answer and this airline pilot examiner should know that!
It would have been useful to share the iPad screen.
We'll keep that in mind for the next video, thanks for the feedback!
20:15 “4,000’ MSL” ** CRACK ** lol
The student giving the responses spoke too soft could barely hear his responses
Microphone sounds scuffed
Everyone please repent and keep Gods commandments
