I got a flan pan for my 6qt instant pot and have used it to make the tastiest quiche I have ever had. It can also make of course flan and cheesecake. Just make sure to get one that has a clamping lid so that everything stays inside the flan pan. It’s placed inside the pot with some water of course. I found the instructions online but I’ve forgotten where, I’m sure they can be found thru google though. Happy cooking :)

Don’t add any salt to beans until after they’re cooked. The salt keeps them from getting soft & done. I experimented with this & there’s a big difference. This applies to any kind of beans. Not trying to be critical, just trying to help. I love your videos.
These recipes look delish. I live in a 2nd floor apartment in Houston Texas. I hate turning on my oven in the summer time. These are going to be so helpful to not heat my house up. The cherry dump cake looks so good. One variation I do is add 1 can of cherry pie filling and I can of crushed pineapple. I would guess you would drain it for the instant pot method. I do not drain it for the oven since you need the juice to help bake the cake mix. I am gonna give it a try in the IP. Maybe I don’t need to know how to make this in the IP as I am trying to eat healthier right now 😜

@@sbrian123 I know she didn't cook the sauce under pressure, but the saute setting was too high of a heat for the sugary sauce. It looked like it scorched the bottom of the pot, so just to be safe, I'll cook the sauce on the stove top at a lower heat. The beans looked good tho, didn't they! 😋😊
Do you have any instant pot video showing how to make breakfast egg bites? The ones like the new Hormel egg bites, a friend told me they can be done in the cupcake/muffin silicone accessory for the IP but wasn’t certain how to do it with the egg beaters liquid egg substitute. I love that I have an IP now for the summer! Your recipes definitely will be tried, esp. the haystacks and the beans. Cooking eggs in the IP was life-changing for me, even though it is such a simple thing. If you want to lighten your potato salad, replace part of the mayo with your favourite plain yoghurt/sour cream and add a little chopped fresh dill or parsley. My mom always does that. Diced onion is also good if you like it. :)

Maybe I'm weird, but I like my potato salad to be a bit more "mushy". I still want some chunks of recognizable potato, but I definitely want the corners to mix into the sauce. To promote this, I use larger chunks of russet potatoes instead of red.
Hi I have a question, you only put 1 cup in most of your instapot recipes but when I do even in low heat (you do high) it always says burnt and never has enough water for me. I have also put 2 cups and it does the same thing. I have an instapot that doesn't have a sealant knob, I only have the steam release button on mine. My Instant Pot is Duo Nova kind.
Would have been nice had you just told us what seasoning you were using in your chicken dish rather then sending us out to find it on the internet. I mean come on. If you aren't going to do the recipe...don't do recipes???
Get a second steel pot. If you cook meat in the instapot it will burn if you try to cook using the pot you fried the meat in even if you deglaze it. I have the second clean pot ready to cook in after cooking the meat.
Hey, a tip for the eggs. Do them pot-in-pot and crack the eggs into your inner pot. When you take them out just use your chop-n-stir and break the eggs up. No need to fight peeling the boiled eggs.
Can’t wait to try your potato salad ip recipe! For a little extra kick to your potato or egg salad...Add chopped pickled jalapeños and smoked paprika. Delish!

I had never heard of Hawaiian Haystacks before! Is the rice and chicken mixture hot and the toppings cold? Do you chill the rice and chicken and all of it is cold? It looked like the chicken was going out of the IP and then toppings cold, but it wasn't steamy so I'm not sure. Looks good though, I want to try it!

But I do have my strong Tex-Mex family recipes down! Just made the potato salad tonight, easy-peasy looks great, tastes great! Also, a tip that I heard somewhere for peeling eggs that was a game-changer for me...after too many years of doing it wrong...use a small spoon to get under the shell to help peel. I knew about cooling the eggs before peeling but I was still destroying eggs at times with these gorilla paws of mine. Tonight the potato salad (and the egg peeling) was a success! I hope this helps someone. :)

Look for these pots at yard sales, thrift store, FB market place. ~$25 ea. You can cook with 3 and be very efficient.
