I love to learn more on the instant pot cooking. I will pass this on to my grand children. I taught my two children, when they were younger, how to cook and now I want to show my teenager grand children the easier way to cook with the instant pot. They are loving the kitchen and how to cook their own foods. This is perfect for them. Thanks
All 6 sisters and your Mom in the kitchen at the same time, each showing their all time favorite thing to make. Now wouldnt that be cool? Cross my fingers
I love your recipes and use them often. Since Christmas I have gone from worrying about an IP explosion to using it nearly every day. It is the kind where you can air fry as well so this piece of equipment is always in use.
For the broth, step it up by adding bay leaves and peppercorns. A half lemon is also great. If you want to make bone broth for drinking, it's a totally different recipe. The IP is great for making broths. I make it really concentrated, pour into Classico pasta sauce jars, and freeze.
all are game changers ... I can't imagine. Maybe a million or a new cookbook for air frying and instant pot. Anyway looking forward to next week to see
These are some great ideas. For the sugar syrup, I'd just use the stove or microwave. I'm from the South. Cornbread is best baked in an iron skillet so it will be golden brown on the outside and fluffy on the inside. For the dulce de leche, I'd definitely use my Instant Pot. Making it on the stove takes hours and you have to babysit the water. Making bone broth on the stove takes a few hours, too. So, using the Instant Pot saves so much time. I cooked a 7 lb. pork roast in 70 minutes compared to 8 hours in a crock pot or 3-4 hours in the oven. I use the Instant Pot on foods that usually take hours in the oven or stove. But, if I can make something faster on the stove rather than waiting for the pressure to build, then cook, I'll do that. Like sugar syrup. But, I doubt I'd use it to cook seafood.
Im overseas and I am getting an instant pot as soon as I get home. I have been watching Six Sisters and your (Julia Pacheco) vids habitually for the last week. I love that I see you posting on her vids too. Very awesome! ❤❤❤
I love your videos so much . Can you give me a list of the accessories that you have for your instant pot as I would like to get them for mine as I’m not sure which ones are the most needed . Thanks
Hey! I actually needed some caramel for a recipe and didn’t really want to buy a whole jar of caramel sauce and waste half of it. This was perfect since I already have the sweet condensed milk. Thanks!
These are so super cool! If you dont have an ice shaver machine for sno cones, can you use a drink mixer to shave or a food processor,,, And i may have to try these out! Thank you!
One day my oven quit and I had to have cornbread so I made Jiffy cornbread in the microwave. Doesn’t have the slightly crispy crunch on the crust that the regular oven baked would’ve, but surprisingly very moist. The surprise is a TV show? Or a chance for one of us to meet and cook with you? Can’t wait to hear!
I make dulce de leche all the time for easy banoffee pie: Slice up a few bananas to fill a graham cracker crust in a single layer, top with two cans or so of dulce de leche and sprinkle just a bit of flaky or sea salt on top (if you like salted caramel), let it set in the fridge for a few hours and top with whipped cream just before serving
Wow!! 🤯 Thank you!! We just got a Ice Shaver Machine and now I don't have to wait tell summer time for syrup to come in the stores. Awesome can't wait to try it out!!
@@darlenecoplin5657 Sorry about that. It's an ice shaver machine. We just go get ice at the gas station or use the ice in the icebox and it crushes the ice really fine. Love it. I ordered it on Walmart (Zeny 300w Ice shaver Machine Ice Crusher Electric Snow Cone Maker)
Your corn bread reminds me of corn pone or grits from freshman home economics. We had a unit on differing world cuisines. Our teacher was from Hawaii. So thankful for her and you for teaching me. I haven't thought of that in years now I'm going to have to make it.
I am going to have to try the box mix Mac and cheese next time the Grand babies are here as they love it. It would make it so much easier than having to keep an eye on it the whole time. More time for playing. Win win
So excited to make chicken broth after I bought the steaming basket. It was really difficult to get the bones out of the broth before. I also add bay leaves from my tree and pepper corns.
Your videos made me buy an instapot and honestly I'm wondering why I took so long. Thank you for the idiotproof tutorials on freezer prep, and instapot cooking, my husband and 2 kids thank you
About mac & cheese; I usually just get elbow macaroni, cook it and whatever add-ons, like bacon bits, cook it for 4 minutes, and use either a Velveeta pouch, or a deluxe shells and cheese pouch (I work in a plant that makes both powdered cheese and deluxe mac and cheese, and Ican just buy cheese pouches at the company store), and stir it in.
Good video-- trying the sno cone syrup in there today. Do you have a link to the springform pan or strainer? I don't have the accessories... tried one and it didn't last. Thanks.

That’s why my husband (before we were married) bought a pressure cooker n tells everyone he can make macaroni in 5 min -must have been on the late night infomercial) of course he never does, I get to do ALL the cooking, when we combined our belongings my ninja PC found a home on the counter, his (off brand but still good PC) went to the camper 😎
My evo duo plus was deliverd tonight my first one had a problem with my oatmeal prest. It went to 2 bars preheating and then did not go to cooking time this is why I am returning it. the 2nd one I tried the saure to reheat some rice and chicken I used level 3 in the custom fuction. 1-6 are the levels is it the same as low and high fuction. should I just keep it on high, or is it good to use the custom function and is 6 level like the high fuction?
I can make cornbread in my breville smart oven faster than 55 minutes and with a crispy bottom crust. I heat up my iron skillet with oil on the stove top. Pour in cornbread mixture. Bring it to where it starts to bubble then put in the preheated Oven and finish up with baking. Best cornbread. My mom show me this method
Wow I am going to have to try the homemade caramel. I've always made it by putting a can of sweetened condensed milk (still sealed with lid on) in a big pan of water and boiling it for 3 hours. Every half hour you flip the can over so you get even cooking. It turns out great for making my homemade turtles. If I can now switch and make it in a fraction of the time with no setting timers over the 3 hour period, well that just makes my day. Lol. And I grew up with a southern mama so beans and corn bread were a weekly meal. There's nothing like warm corn bread with butter and sugar layered on top. Yummy. The beans, not so much, lol
Wow! I love the snow cone idea n already have koolaid on my grocery list! Thanks! I’ll bet the surprise is a 6 sisters cookbook with accessory set! Or the launch of a new channel
I just bought an Instapot Duo 8 quart 9 in 1 from Walmart. I am having a HARD TIME finding recipes for this model specifically. There are some buttons, (like dehydrate and yogurt) that are not on this appliance. Also the lid is very different than the one you use. It does not have a separate plug or buttons. Instead it is controlled from the instapot itself. Also mine did not come with any extra sealing ring, so I don't know if I need to buy this accessory to make some of the baked goods or if this model doesn't need it. HELP PLEASE! Can you recommend a channel that uses this pot, or do you have any videos using it? Or maybe a recipe website or cookbook for this model???
Hello 6 Sisters... I have 8 Sisters... I purchased an off brand 2 quart pressure cooker... (before I found you gals)... I like cooking in a pressure cooker... but since this is an off brand, I can NOT find accessories or replacement seal... sometimes my seal lets steam out the side thus taking longer to pressure up... I am considering purchasing a 3 quart instant pot unit... Any tips / suggestion / model would be greatly appreciated... I live alone and mainly cook for one... Thanks in advance... Frank
I make a big batch of stock and boil it down until it’s super condensed (like maybe from 16 cups to 2) and freeze it in muffin tins so I always have homemade stock in the freezer and it doesn’t take up much space. Just remember how much you condensed it so you can add back water to reconstitute it if you need! If I’m making soup I reconstitute it to the original volume but for things like pan sauces I leave it condensed to thicken up my sauce quickly.
Was that a family size box of Mac? I tried it today and there was so much water! Next time I may have to cook noodles and drain before adding the goodies.
