Excellent video! I have a 2009 EZGO TXT 36V in very good condition. However, when it comes time for new batteries would like to convert it over to Navitas motor and controller and 48 volt lithium. Couple of concerns. Can you still use stock wiring harness for lights, horn, turn signals? At what point does the cost to do all this make it unrealistic? Guess that will be an individual decision. Thanks so much for posting these videos!
Hey Joel. You will NOT need a new harness for lights, horn etc. However, you WILL need a new harness for the controller.…good news is it’s only about $140.
Excellent Video. I am in the middle of converting and having the same issue with my pedal assembly. Could you explain what colors went to what? My cart is a 2020 EZGO Express that was a flooded, so I ripped every single switch and wire out to bare frame. Original pedal assembly had 2 micro switches on top of each other, so I have a total of 4 wires from micro switches and then the 2 from the sensor. Appreciate your help brother!
I’m sorry if you mentioned it earlier, but where did you buy the navitas conversion kit? Also, how can you tell if the bushings are bad? I’m rebuilding a cart and following your lead😊. Thank you!
Thanks for watching!! The Navitas kit came from Golfcartsmodified.com The easiest way to tell if the bushings are bad as jack up the front end and grab the wheel on the top and the bottom and try to wiggle it. If there is movement the bushings are worn.
Dude, I just ran into the accelerator harness issue. Your video just saved me hours. Thank you!
@@HonestInvestor you are very welcome 👍🏻
LOVE THE VOLUME!!!! Finally, a creator that doesn't whisper.
Thank you!!

Honestly, I’m not sure on a 2020…my wire colors matched up exactly what the four wires from my peddle box.
Looks like fun
It is!!
is the mro paint for frame restore? Looking to take care of some frame rust and looking for paint options. Any videos on some minor rust repair?
Thankfully I really don’t have to deal with rust.
But a little primer and then MRO and you should be golden.
To reduce the volume on the reverse buzzer, just stick a foam earplug into the opening (horn speaker) and the volume will drop by many many decibels.
Roger that

I have the same cart. Can you tell me which Navitas kit part# did you order. It’s so confusing
My invoice does not show the part number…
Sorry 😞
Where did you get all your components and wiring harness?
Most everything came from Golfcartsmodified.com
Where you bought the wire harness from? Do you also bought wire harness for the accelerator pedal ?
I bought the wire harness from golf carts modified…I re-used the accelerator pedal harness
What is that aluminum plate the controller is mounted to? I need one
🤔 not sure where to get one other than EZ GO. Or you could make one.
Are you using flat black or gloss black when painting the frame?
Flat
Are you a snap on dealer or you just use all their stuff? 😂 Asking coming from an addict myself
🤔
Anyone interested in navitas can help me please?
