I have a 36 volt cart that I converted to 48 volt and it never used a run/tow switch. I see that the TXT 48 harness only has 2 wires but the run/tow switch has 4 wires. Do I just use a SPST switch or do I need to get a factory switch that uses 4 wires? From what I see 2 of the wires from the switch are not used. Thanks for taking the time to make this video!
Hey I was wondering if you can help me out .. I’m looking to put this in my ezgo 36v golf cart but its a series model.. which one do I need to purchase?
I skipped around in the video so I don’t know if this was covered or not, but is there a way to keep the kids from cranking this thing to max when they drive it, without me having to go into the app and change all the settings?
Yes, The kit comes with 2 keys. You can adjust the on the fly controller and then lock it. Once you do that they can adjust it all the want but nothing will happen until you physically unlock it.
Just depends on what you want really. The navitas provides a lot of low end torque, otf remote, good support. The teekon is quicker but doesnt have the same low end torque.
Hello Sir, will you help me do this to my 2016 TXT ? I am mechanically inclined and can do the work. I just don’t want to hook up anything wrong. Your video is awesome and I can see mostly what to do. After I finish this , I will buy a big battery and go lithium!
One more question: I see that the small red wire was connected to the solenoid terminal that also had the larger wire coming from the battery (which matches how mine is today). However, your new solenoid install shows that same red wire is now connected to the solenoid terminal on the side going to your controller. Can you explain why this got switched?
Nevermind. It looks like you changed your wiring for the solenoid from what you had at (10:00) to the way I would think you want it (matching existing) at (14:54).
On the AC conversion, you previously cut the panel for the controller connection, is that still necessary with the AC conversion? The connecter didn't appear to protrude in the ac pictures.
This is the way to go right here why i am just looking for me old club cart with allium frame an fix me a cart go forever less than i could buy one for an it will be all custom my son is a body man he said he would paint me a awesome cart..I want a Crusader theme on it
I’m new to this channel,I watched your other Band video first I can now see what happened in the first part of this video you call him out about “this is not his bread and butter” he must have struck a nerve with you on the comment
As for the top speed of the cart, I feel it's nice to have it if you need it ! My Corvette would peg the speedo at 160+mph ! I didn't drive at that speed, but is was nice to know it was there if need be. Same thing here !
Obviously you are the go to guy to make these changes. Fabulous fixins. Thanks for sharing.
Im just trying to place content people ask for on the internet.
I like that you do everything and it don't have to be macho stuff and you include the kids. Well done!
Great video! Will be ordering this kit. Thank you for the walk through. Now I'm about to walk it out.
Why didn’t you re-install the resistor for the big terminals on the solenoid (9:49)?
Please disregard...I spoke to Navitas and they do not require a resistor or a diode on the solenoid for their controllers.

@@Fentertainment awesome! Thanks for the reply
anything for clubcar onward?
How are the rear hubs holding up with the added speed and power?
This was my neighbors cart. Its still going strong. Just last night he was popping wheelies with it.
Can you do an update on this cart? Like the dash kit and stereo and what batteries he is running.
I’ll see what I can do
You made a video about the Teekon DC to AC along with the plumquick DC to AC - is there a better fit for one or the other?
Just depends on what you want really. The navitas provides a lot of low end torque, otf remote, good support. The teekon is quicker but doesnt have the same low end torque.
any clearance issues with the rear shocks??
What do I need to convert a 2007 TXT PDS 36v to 48 volt AC?
Emailed PlumQuick, will most likely order from them because of you, great job on your videos.
Is it possible to get 30+mph on DC motor with Nativas controller Yamaha golf cart ?
I don’t see why not. I have a ds on the channel that is dc plum quick motor and all trac controller doing 31
@@Fentertainment awesome thanks, i enjoy your Channel keep up the good work
Is there any way I could chat with you? I just installed mine and followed your video, but I have no power. Suggestions?

I cut the panel for the controller on the club car precedent. This is my neighbors ezgo.
thanks will cut.
I’m looking to upgrade the speed/ torque on our club car precedent. Are these constructions essentially the same for the clubcar?
I have a video on the same thing with a club car precedent on my channel
@@Fentertainment thank you brother. Your videos are awesome and easy to follow.
Great videos! What did you have to do to get the Navitas Dealer app?
download it from the app store, set it up
@@Fentertainment so the one on the App Store is the dealer app too? On Apple it only has 1 app to choose from.
@@Addison2580 There is no more dealer app. The one app will cover it all now. Just follow directions on the app to set it up
Great videos !!! What is the labor cost to do this job ?
Will this application work for a 2016 EZGO TXT gas?
No sir this is an electric golf cart
will this work with 36 volts
The company says no. I’ve asked before. I’ve ran it on 42.5vs before tho.
Full speed and acceleration on a stock solenoid? 🤔🥴
Another great video

The #1
EDGO i don't think are safe to run at 35 miles being the way there framing are constructed Club Car has a frame that can handle that speed
Club car is superior I agree I have an 03 ds
I agree, my precedent handles better at that speed.
@@Fentertainment yes I can take my lifted stock speed (with speed codes ) ds around bends without lifting
@@Caleb-tv8pu just be carefilul man. A buddy of mine just rolled his doing that.

Any one want to sell the old motor and controler?
