Excellent video! Keep them coming Pan!!!
Thanks!
Thank you Pan, for always offering this enormous light at the end of the tunnel, in the immense range of choices in the world of car detailing, and so we can choose at low cost good options ... Thank you for sharing this good video

@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks You Pan
Great review Pan! Those look pretty amazing for the money. And having different throws they should be great for everything! Nice work!
Thanks Todd!
Another great video, thanks Pan!
Thanks Chris!
Hell yeah first one!
Keep up the good work legend!
Thanks Dino!
Hi Pan here from Brunei. Thanks for making great vids! Keep them coming hehe
Thanks Nadi!
Pan, you are seriously an amazing person at what you do. I can tell that you put hours in these videos and they are consistently good. Keep up the good videos Pan. May God bless you, and keep you safe. Happy Detailing!
Thanks!!
@@PanTheOrganizer Random question, but how much do you charge for your detailing services? I'm just curious....
Unfortunately, I never discuss prices on UA-cam.
Awesome review Pan,they both work very well.
Thanks Steven!
Thanks for the vid Pan! I threw some flyby30 on my window and it makes a huge difference. Really good for safety and not just aesthetics
Yes it's pretty good!
That one of maxshine polisher will be my next « big » order. Thanks Pan fir the review.
Thanks Sylvain!
I really enjoy your videos. You are a reliable person who let me take a lot in this world of detailers. I was super indecisive about which polisher to buy and thanks to this video I decided to spend my money on this beauty. I hope I can make the most of it. thank you very much Pan.
Thanks Carlos! How did you discover my channel?
Like I wrote. I has been looking for a good but cheap polisher for my personal use. I think I found it😁 I love your explications a lot! Success bro!
Great explanation pan and thanks for this good machine
Thanks Francisco!
Thanks for this video Pan, I’ve been wanting these for a while now. Most of us would be using these for our older cars, likely with a lot of paint defects. Maybe you could make a video using these polishers on an older car of darker color or a car with more paint defects. That would give us a better idea of what kind of results we should expect from these budget polishers.
Thanks Vishal!
Always Great Pan! Thank you👍👍👍
Thanks!
I bought a MaxShine 5" backing plate for my Harbor Freight DA polisher and for $10.39 USD it was a bargain. I would suspect the same from their polishers. Great video, thanks Pan.
Yes they’re great value polishers for the money.
Thanks for watching!
Great Review!
Thanks Ian!
Excellent presentation
I like the M8 for my guys to take on the road, i just finished doing the M21 video last week its a good value to get started.
Yup. I'm testing a few other new models too at the moment.
Awesome!
Thank you! Cheers!
Looks like a good DAP, thanks Pan👍
Thanks Shaun!
Very nice review Pan. For a beginner I think the 15mm would be perfect!
Hi PAN... Thx a lot for your reply and advise.
👍🏻
Hey pan what do you think of the vertool as a first polisher ? What pads and compound would be best to use on a 2015 Mazda 6 with heavy swirling. I will also be getting a air compressor da for spot pads .
I'm trying to order this machine to Iceland, can't wait to try it out!
Go on the ShineMaster Europe website.
@@PanTheOrganizer They actually don't include Iceland in their shipping program but I'm in contact with them in China :)
Nice video pan! Have you ever did a review on rotary polishers that you thought are good also?
You’ll soon see one on my channel.
However, big caution with rotaries. You need a lot of polishing experience with them as they can easily burn through the clear coat and also cause holograms and buffer trails. Rotaries are not for beginners.
Awesome video, been debating what to get between Torq, Griot and Maxshine. I’m leaning towards the Maxshine thanks
Thanks for watching!
These closely resemble my Griot’s Garage BOSS G21! The BOSS polishers are made in China so now I am thinking Maxshine made them. I was thinking about buying the BOSS G15 for a shorter throw. Now I will look into this one and save some money. Thanks for the info!
Many polishers are often made by the same company, just rebadged and a few cosmetic differences to make them look different. ;)
FAB Automotive Detailing don’t bother with the G15. It lacks pad spinning torque.
Brewinz It has the same motor as my G21 which is great so I don’t see how it would be different. I just want a smaller throw for tighter areas.
FAB Automotive Detailing buy it, you’ll then see what I mean. 😉
Brewinz Well i plan on buying a cheaper 15mm now anyways. Did you buy the G15 and not like it or where did you get the info about the spinning?
Hi Pan, I hope all is well in Quebec. I have been following your detailing channel and have a question. I have a 2015 Lexus GS350 that’s new to me and I have a few scratches on the rocker panel that are exposing the plastic underneath. It’s a atomic silver and the scratch is deep enough to show the black plastic of the rocker panel. Do you recommend a specific touch up system like Dr colorchip? Or should I get the touch up pen from the dealer and get at it with a very fine pin point brush? I appreciate your advice and all your reviews.
Thanks for make this video pan
Thanks Lennard!
BTW Pan I wanted to ask you, what do you think of that meguiars DA tool that mounts on a drill and polishes. I need a minor paint correcting every few years on my car, and I find a pro polisher too much of a tool for me. Also I could polish my car in Europe with that meguiars DA tool. I would appreciate some feedback.
Hello Pan! Thank you so much for all the great videos that help us so much! I learned so much from your videos. One question. How easy it's to get parts for the MaxShines?
I never had to replace parts so I don’t have the answer unfortunately. Perhaps a viewer will read your comment and help you.
Hey pan. Do u use pad conditioners when you spread waxed and sealants or only when you compound and polish? Ans what are some good pad conditioners?
Question on the handle switch, is this stout or soft/loose?
I'll have to pick one up
Thanks for watching Ricardo!
Hey Pan! What is your opinion on the ShineMate EX 610 15 throw oscillating polisher? Just ordered one, as well as most of the CarPro polishing products! :)
3dfx.. could you give us an update on the shinemate ex610 polisher??? What do you think of it? Any stalling on vertical panels??
I can't wait to get me the M15 d.a buffer...
as always pan great video. great price point. if both less than 400 bucks I kinda tells u that a lot of companies are doing rebranding and killn customers by charging almost twice as much.got 2 love detailing industry 4 that. lol.b well 👍👍
Thanks Richard!
What do you think of maxshine m312 12mm polisher for beginner vs m15 pro
Hi nice videos, I get a M8 pro on amazon (open box by $175) I can´t wait to handled it. I´m starting with car detailing. I use to wash the car with my brother since we are children but it's time to improve.
Hi Dieter! Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on UA-cam as we surpassed 840,000 subscribers and 105 million views! I have been detailing for 25 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers.

How did you discover my channel by the way?
@@PanTheOrganizer Nice to meet you. Well locking for DA polishers I found some of your videos directly on you tube.
And I have a question and probably its a total error to ask it, but Is it possible to use a random orbital sander (with speed control), like the Makita BO5041 for car polishing?
That´s because I saw some videos where people use this kind of tools for that job, and I was tented to consider it.
Thanks.
Hey Pan you should review those $10 ceramic coating to see if its a functional product. I been seeing videos on them and they look pretty promising.
I will not use the cheap 10$ eBay knockoff ceramics.
Dear Pan,
I would like to ask your advice on how to wash and waterproof the canvas top of my 2015 Audi A3 convertible.
I didn't find a tutorial in your videos.
Thanks and bye,
Carlo
Hey Pan, for starters great videos but I also wanted to ask you if you can somehow make time and make a review of what you think of SHINE ARMOR. I've read many great thing's about it but would like to see what a professional detailer with as much of experience like you thinks about it... Look forward to hearing back from you.
Thanks! Maybe I’ll get to review their products one day.
Awesome video Pan!! Do you need to use the washer on these to work properly or is that just a preference? I am completely new to polishing, it is the most intimidating thing about detailing at the moment.
No need to use the washer. If you're new to polishing, you have to watch my super popular beginner's tutorial on machine polishing and paint correction here: ua-cam.com/video/X2qjO5xZZ2E/v-deo.html
@@PanTheOrganizer Yes I do like that video I've watched it probably 4 times lol trying to learn everything before I start on my car, i don't want to do more harm then good haha
Thanks for your time and effort! I have multiple DA polishing machines, but Shine Master has been equal to or better than my Rupes, Flex and DAS. Use the washer (spacer) and there is no stalling and it runs just as smooth as those that cost 2 X more $!
Thanks for watching and sharing your experience Todd!
Bro can u explain to me whata is washer/washee ur talking about..my english is bad
merci pour la présentation.
As tu déjà essayé les produits zvizzer ? polishs et pad, ça serait interessant d'avoir ton avis car ils sont vraiment bon :)
Would you recommend this or the Rupes LHR15 or another? I have the Torq10fx but not sure if theirs a difference between my Torq to this Maxshine or Rupes
Rupes and Flex are much higher end polishers. You can't compare those to Maxshine. If you have the money and want the best, get the Rupes.
Hello pan, I plan on buying my first da polisher, so I'm basically a beginner when it comes to detailing, do you suggest griot's "6" or the M15?
M15
Paaaannnn! I love your channel and I never cared about detailing until I got a Black Model 3 Tesla in April. I am trying to keep the outside of the car in good shape using what I learn from this channel but I'm finding out that hand polishing really doesn't do much. I am doing all you say but the scratches remain. Since I hate cords I haven't bought a polisher and I was wondering if you could recommend a good cordless polisher. I really don't care how much it costs as long as it is good. I just want to be able to buff out small accidents and scratches in the clear coat. I've literally tried almost every product you recommend here except the polishers lol. Hopefully, you know of a good cordless. I am thinking orbital/dual action too.
Thanks for the kind words about my channel Travis.
Unfortunately, I don’t use cordless polishers. But I heard Flex has a good one and they’re one of the best polisher brands.
Like always you the best
Thanks!
Hey Pan
I have been using the PC 2474xp for a couple years now. How does this compare to these. Plus can you go over what you mean by 15 or 8 throw.
Thanks
I had a Porter Cable 7424XP (not 2474) when I started polishing. It was an ok starter tool, but this ShineMaster M15 Pro is way more powerful and has a longer throw to get the job done quicker. You can't even compare both tools. M15 Pro is better.
A "throw" is how far the backing plate spins out (left or right). The longer throw (15mm) will cover more surface area in a single pass compared to an 8mm throw, so you are more efficient.
Great video as always Pan!
Question: Have you seen Adam’s Polishes new Ceramic lineup that was just launched last week? Will you be doing a review? Would love to hear your thoughts. I don’t buy anything anymore unless you give it your approval 😁
Thanks for the trust you place in my opinion Andrew! I appreciate that. I don't know if I'll review the new lineup, time will tell! :)
Until watching this, I had settled and planned on buying the M8 Pro (V.2) as my first machine polisher. Currently, It's only $130 vs. the M15 Pro's $216. I feel as though once you reach over $200, you might as well hold off and buy a Rupes Mark III.
Watch my more recent videos on affordable polishers: ua-cam.com/video/LvPCkCqXEq0/v-deo.html
I'd love for you to compare max shine polishers with Adam's swirl killer ...both models 😁
Merci Pan,
toujours au top !! je n'ai pas encore de polisseur, si tu devez en achetez une seule, tu choisirais quelle taille pour la polyvalence?
merci
15mm
I wanna get the M8 pro as well.
Hi,
Can you use a 3 inches backing plate and pad on the M15.?
4" minimum size. If you want a good 3" DA buy the Shinemaster M312
Salut Pan merci pour toutes tes vidéos et conseils qui sont vraiment très clairs et précis. Peux tu faire cette vidéo de la M15 et M8 en Français ? Merci d'avance. Amicalement. Greg
Merci Greg
Hi PAN...I applied EPIC CR2 onto my vehicle, which will give some extra protection for several months. Is it OK to, after that, apply BEAD MAKER when doing maintenance washes until I get to 3-4 months down the road before reapplying EPIC CR2 ?
Also, once I'm reaching 3-4 months and it's that time again to apply a sealant, is it OK to try and apply another one, such as TLC2 ?
One last question : How do you best clean those emblems (which nowadays are not really chrome) such as the lettering CX-5 AWD on this white mazda. I have got some light staining ?
Yes to your two questions. For the emblems, search for “how to clean car emblems and badges” on UA-cam. You’ll find my tutorial.
OK. Thx.
Aaaaanother great video pan I was hoping for a discount code for that polisher I guess we can't get every thing we want great show though always look forward to the next one
Thanks John!
Pan! So im about to polish and wax my truck very soon and i purchased my new Maxshine M15 pro II. The only thing im scared of is the polishing part cux ive never polished before. The trucks paint is brand new. Like 3 months ago it was newly painted, but im still going to polish it with sonax perfect finish with maxshine yellow foam pad. Any tips?
Yes, you should watch my paint polishing tutorial for beginners: ua-cam.com/video/X2qjO5xZZ2E/v-deo.html
You have the right products and tools to do a good job. You can do it!
Hi Pan, the 21 and 15 pro are very similarly priced currently. Is there any advantage to the 15 over the 21 if the price is close?
15 is more versatile
Salut Pan, excellent vidéo as usual. Quick question : Meguiars have a microfiber kit for polishing / compound. In the kit, they provide a back plate. Donc you really need it? What's do thing about Sonax perfect finish?
I use the backing plate that comes with the polishers that I use. I like Meguiar’s Microfiber Correction Compound. For polishes, Sonax Perfect Finish is awesome.
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks Pan I will try that combinaison. Merci Beaucoup
Hey Pan, if one already has a Flex 3401, is there any reason to purchase the M15 Pro? Is there ever a situation where you would want to use the M15 polisher instead of the 3401? Will it finish out better than the 3401 since it is not a forced rotation polisher?
No need to purchase the M15
Thanks for another great video Pan, appreciate it! As I am new to DA polishers I would like to know if the additional 100 watts of the M15 Pro makes a significant difference to justify the additional $30.00 cost between the M15 and M15 Pro?
It's en evolution, not a world of a difference. If you already have the M15 and like it, stick with it. It's like an iPhone X vs iPhone XS...
The Pro versions actually have less pad spinning torque vs. the M15. Don’t let the watts fool you.
That's what I had read from a lot of the reviews and why I asked if it was worth the additional $30.00. I think I am going to stick with purchasing the M15 and not the pro. Thank's for the input it's appreciated.
52wml I’ve tried both, the M15 definitely has more pad spinning torque. No doubt about it.
So the 15mm vs the pro isnt going to be a big of a difference?
Hey Pan, i am really enjoying your program. I bought the Karcher K5 premium washer you recommended as well as the max shine foam cannon, however it is not fitting. What else do i have to buy to get it working?
Karcher pressure washers have proprietary fittings. You need a K series bayonet style adapter. Like this: amzn.to/2TIcgKd
man, you are super cool.
:)
If you only had one to choose between the Shinemaster M15 Pro -or- Rupes LRH 15ES? Thank you
Rupes is the higher end machine for sure.
Hey Pan, For a home detailer looking to buy their first polisher would you recommend buying the M8 Pro or M15 Pro?
Get the 8mm but depending on vehicle the 15 is nice if it's a larger car. Been detailing for 7 years now. From experience.
@@johnny535ss large car like SUV, truck?
@blue fox yes a suv anything like trailblazer size to f-150 and up.
Hi Pan, i hope you can answer this comment - as a beginner, should I go with 8mm or 15mm throw? I'll only be polishing at the most twice a year since I only drive 1 car.
15mm is more versatile. It has nothing to do with beginner vs expert.
Can you please review the m312?
I’ve been considering a maxshine M15 pro 2 or a Shinemate EX620. Do you have any expierence with the Shinemate? I heard the M15 had stalling issues but it was resolved with the pro 2. What are your thoughts?
I never had issues even with the original M15, but the Pro was for sure an improvement. I haven't tested the Shinemate though.
My favourite polishers overall are still Flex and Rupes though. If you have the extra money, go for those.
@@PanTheOrganizer thank you! I’m trying to spend around $200-$250ish. I’m going to graphene coat my car and probably use it sparingly for polishing jobs and light paint correction. I do detailing on the side, but only a few cars for friends and family.
Pan please PLEASE do a wet sanding test for us w these nacientes. I still use my dewalt rotary polisher to crear beautiful finishes buying this machine will not be an upgrade but more like an update to my arsenal. Please do a wet sanding test
What would be the purpose of the 8mm? I mean isn’t more throw better for correcting? Great video!
More throw simply means you're covering more surface area thus decreasing time spent polishing. For more focused polishing, a smaller throw can be more appropriate. It's good having different tools in your arsenal so you can use according to your needs.
Thanks pan. Huge fan from Toronto. Do we need a washer mod for these? And what about a Canadian link?
You never "need" a washer mod. It depends if you like a free spinning backing plate. The washer mod comes with the tool if you want it. No Canadian link for now unfortunately.
Order it directly from Maxshine/Shinemaster. I bought the M15 Pro and it only took & business days to get to BC. Very impressed.
@@Suspicious0ne amazing! I want to pick one up this summer! Cheers from TO
Amazon isn't showing the black grip top, only the white grip which will become dirty fast. How can I source the black grip pro as shown in your video?
'
This video is already a few years old. They must have changed models since then.
Hey pan do u use pad conditioners when u spread waxes or sealants?
No as very little heat will be generated and when you simply apply liquid waxes or sealants, you are running at low speed (speed 2 normally).
Hi Pan, a question for you sir, I'm looking at these 2 polishers w which would you recommend for my first polisher. ? TORQ BUF501X 10FX Random Orbital Polisher or Maxshine ShineMaster M15 Pro DA Polisher: 15mm/1000 Watt.
I haven't tried the TorQ.
ok, thank you.
Hi Pan! I recently purchased the Rupes Mille Bigfoot per your older video.I think I made a mistake according to this video. Should I sell my Rupes and by this Shinemaster? Your expert opinion is appreciated!
The Mille is a direct drive (forced rotation) polisher and is not like the ShineMaster dual action polisher. The comparable model at Rupes is the LHR15 MKIII or MKII. Your Rupes is much more high end, stick to that if you like it.
Hey pan do you only use pad conditioner when u compound and polish or is it when you use a foam pad in general
On foam pads like Lake Country CCS Foam pads. Rupes foam pads only need to be primed with their compound or polish, no pad conditioner needed.
@@PanTheOrganizer ok cool so just lake country ccs foam pads ok cool thanks also do u have any recommendation for a good pad conditioner?
Hey man, question what’s the best degreaser to use on paint ? To get off old wax and what not...
Chemicals alone won't fully remove waxes and paint sealants. They can help to break down a big part of the older layers of waxes or sealants, but to fully remove them, you'll have to do some paint polishing steps as mechanical abrasion is what truly removes those. When you're done polishing, do an IPA wipe down (isopropyl alcohol) to remove polishing oils. You can use a paint prep like Dupli Color too. Then you'll have a 100% prepped surface, ready to accept fresh layers of your favourite wax, paint sealant or better yet, ceramic coating.
To give you an idea of the steps, watch how I detail a vehicle: ua-cam.com/video/epBqfhMeGR0/v-deo.html
But good strip washes like Purple Power Vehicle and Boat Wash with a foam cannon will start breaking those down. Adam's Strip Wash is another good decon soap.
Pan TheOrganizer awesome thank you for the information
Hi Pan I don't see u using cordless polisher is there a reason for its?
No. I simply haven’t had the chance to try some yet. I would like to try the Flex cordless polishers.
What do you think about the torq polisher vs this oned?
I haven't used the TorQ
Ok now I am torn.. I like the idea of a long throw, but also only have the funds for 1 machine. My thought is for occasional paint correction, and mostly to help speed up polishing & waxing, I would be better off with the 8mm version?
15mm is more versatile
Have you tried the Adam's Swirl Killer and if so what are your thoughts?
05on20s lol I have asked him this question a few times, and my answer is always no
@@7_0_sav5 ok cool. I have one and will test it out in a fee weeks but curious if he had time to play with one.

Hey pan what do you think of the porter cable 7424xp
It’s a good beginner polisher, but this one is better: ua-cam.com/video/DOMbdkroUqA/v-deo.html
How it sound like??

😂
Thanks for another awesome video Pan! Do you know if these will work with 220V also? Or where they can be found to be working e.g. in Europe?
Thanks! You would have to check the ShineMaster Europe for 220V versions.
The DAS6 Pro+ v2 is the same, and you can get that one in Europe
PAN, Im trying to find the M8 PRO in Canada but your link in the comments goes to the older red version not the newer black M8 PRO...how do you get that unit in Canada?
It seems they are phasing out the M8 Pro which isn't as versatile as the longer throw 15mm option. So in Canada, get this: bit.ly/3jjeg9k
Or get the M8 Pro here: amzn.to/49vb1kr
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks PAN. I thought the M8 Pro would be same price but for that difference I will grab the M15 Pro Hopefully the 7 mm of extra movement wont make it too hard to maneuver around door handles
Under what circumstances would you reach for the 8mm rather than the 15mm?
I always use a 15mm.
Comment sa sappelle je le vois pas sur amazon
Is it for beginners better to use 5 inch or 6 inch buffing pads
It's not a question of beginner vs expert, it's just a matter of personal preference.
Pan. I bought the maxshine pro 2 da polisher per your recommendation. Very disappointed in it. It stalls all the time even just the weight of it on the paint. Any suggestions. Going to return it. Do you recommend a direct drive polisher which I’m told is not related to pressure to prevent stalling. If so which one do you recommend. Please help
Hmmm. I never had issues. Usually when a D/A stalls, it's because you need to readjust your technique and apply less pressure. Any D/A even my very expensive Rupes LHR15 MKII will stall if you apply too much pressure. It's the nature of the technology. If you never want your pads to stall, then yes a direct drive polisher like my Flex 3401 is the way to go, but that costs triple the price of the MaxShine.
You can also try another value oriented solid D/A like the Griot's Garage G9: amzn.to/3bYY6vt
If this stalls too, it's really your technique that you have to readjust.
@@PanTheOrganizer even if I just set the polisher on the car hood the weight of the polisher causes it to stall. That doesn’t seem like too much pressure
@@PanTheOrganizer can you recommend a less expensive direct drive. Also do you know of any 4 inch pad polisher. 5 inch seems too big for me to polish most of my Acura MDX. 5 inch is only good for the hood but once again I am a beginner. Appreciate your feedback so promptly
Unfortunately all the gear driven polishers I know are quite expensive, as they are usually more pro-oriented tools. Another one is the Rupes Mille here: amzn.to/3vAxSqY
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks Pan I’ll just revert to the old fashion hand polishing. Hope you like your Porsche. I have a 997
I just received mine today and didn't come with the canvas bag?? Did they stop including these? Was looking forward to it to keep everything in one spot
I know they now have the updated Pro II version, which is likely what you got. Maybe they did stop providing the canvas bag to keep costs low.
@@PanTheOrganizer ahh that's a shame!
What kind of pad I could used with the m15 pro
Any 5" pads will do. For suggestions on pads, see my favourite polishing compounds and pads video here: ua-cam.com/video/2JDvQBs1viM/v-deo.html
How does these compare to the adams polishes swirl killer?
@A Google User no thanks, ill stick with my swirl killer for the price.
