    I also just bought a new da polisher, liquid elements T4000 V2 pro. 15mm, 950w, 9 meters of cable (354 inches or 29.5 feet, very practical), 2000-5000opm, but the most interesting are the 2 LEDs, green when the pressure is correct and red if you need to lower the pressure exerted. • @MirandaDetailing

      Hi...its really just personal choice, the pneumatic ones are nice also, but then you need a large enough compressor or one that fills extremely fast, and that just doubles the cost. when an electric polisher is easier to work with and does not need a compressor to power it.

      Mark III 15 has more pad spinning torque for sure. You shouldn't need to crank a polisher up to speed 6. The Meg's MF finishing pads Phil used contour very well with any polisher. Put a bit stiffer foam pad on the Maxshine on speed 4 and it will stall easily. The Maxshine looks to be very smooth, however. Use a washer with any long throw where the backing plate contacts the shroud.

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 роки тому +3

      Mmmm. I haven’t found that to be the case in my situation. It’s be the way I handle the polisher. I find that both polishers will stall around the same areas. But it’s all in the way I handle it. I have observed more pad spin on the Maxshine green myself. But each has there own style when polishing and that effects it also. Thanks.

    Have you ever used the griots garage G9? I saw a video where a shop with over 4 employees tested all DA polishers, pretty much and their preferred choice was the G9, based on longer hours of use, ergonomics, cutting ability etc. Maybe one of the subscribers can send you one with prepaid round trip shipping label, to check it out.

      I have used it actually. It’s nice. But after using tons of different polishers, it just comes down to personal choice. I can use pretty much any polisher and make it work. I’m not bias towards any certain brand or anything. I can adapt to using almost anything.

      You have to understand that you can’t compare a 9 mm with the 15mm , the time it’ll take cutting will definitely vary , max shine are great machines and I recommend it over the G8 and G9 ( don’t get me wrong they are amazing tools ) but close to the Same price you can buy the M15 pro II and the M312 and you get a 5” inch 15 mm and a 3” 12 mm , so 2 long throws for almost the same price as 2 short throws . I personally have owned rupes , and I switched over maxshine because you are literally getting the same machine . Rupes stalls , maxshine it does as well and they improved with the II version. Quality will definitely be different but the maxshine polishers are still great quality for what you are paying . In my opinion gets rupes only if you have the extra money and want to be part of the rupes group ( sarcasm) , but if you want to professionally detail with 2 long throws machines , the M15 pro II and 312 will be more than enough for your entire life

      They have an improved 15 mm griots garage polisher, I'm sure it will be as good if not better than the maxshine one $40 more and lifetime warranty, maybe someone will test it soon.

      @@dossegundos7145 they had issues with vibrations and heat on the head , still a great polisher for sure , maxshines offers lifetime warranty as well . But the only thing it pushed me back to maxshine from the new griots is the weighted screws , when you use certain pads you must change it , otherwise your vibration will be horrible . And for some people may not be a big deal but I’m not looking to change the backing late screw based on the pads I decide to use . For me that extra time I don’t want to waste . But as I said and as he said . It’s up to everyone choice I’ve purchased before
      Mark ii , duetto , mini, G9 , G8 , M15 pro II , M312 a nd tested the New G15 . And my choice was still maxshine , the hate to maxshine comes mostly because it’s made in China .
