New sub ! Liked 🙏😊👍✌️
Thanks!
He didn't mention the Falcon Ranchero, that was a super cool car in the 60s, and a Falcon....
Or the Falcon van.
Once saw a pearl white 62 with a Boss 302 4 spd, straight axle and 9 inch Ford rear end with 456 gears. GEEZ LOUISE that thing put some humility in the local chevelle, camaro & nova and mopar crowd.
My 63 Sprint has 5-lug wheels with factory drum brakes all around. 8" rear, looks like the 9"
yeah, I forgot to check what lugs the falcon sprint has. thanks for the correction.
You can tell a 9" or top loader just by looking...
Ahhh, a 351 Windsor 260 look alike stroked to 460 cubic inches high compression and leave the 260 emblem on the front fender
THERE IS A 63 FALCON SPRINT WITH AN FE 427 FORD ENGINE IN IT AT THE CAR SHOW AT RUBYS DINER IN WHITTIER CA, TALK ABOUT SHOEHORN! TRIPPLE AAAs INSURED MY 63 1/2 RANCHERO FOR $35K, SO THE VALUES ARE HEADING UP FINALLY. GREAT LITTLE LIGHT WEIGHT CARS, MINE HAS ONE OF THE 1.615 260 V8 ENGINES IN IT, KINDA RARE.
The 2nd Gen Falcon is one of the single best classics for aftermarket support, because the mustang is literally the same car reskinned. So you can get a reasonably priced classic, but get the benefits of its more popular son having oodles of the same parts it needs reproduced.
The convertibles could also be bought with Sprint package … AND … the Sprints plus the other 63-65 models fit with V8s have five lug wheels.
Thanks for the corrections. I try to give the best information I can but, it's hard to find reliable sources.
@@maddenmadness This is a falcon
1971 XY FALCON GTHO
The 66-67 Falcons represent good value as well and can accommodate larger engines if that is your thing
After watching Jay Leno's Garage with his 63 Sprint, I had to get one. It took about a year of looking, but I eventually found one. Mine already had a 302/C4 and a Mustang II front suspension with power disc brakes and power steering. It is Rangoon Red. I already own a 65 Mustang FB that I bought 41 years ago.
I saw a 63 sprint at the ruby's cruise in a few yrs ago with a 427 ford FE engine in it,
it was stuffed in, but it still fit, must make a pretty heavy front end though! you can plow thru the corners,
but it must be very fast in a straight line.
4:00 Shock tower upgrade for Falcon.
My 61 is mostly 72 maverick along with a couple of 66 Mustang parts to make it all mesh up
As a Falcon owner, if you plan to do anything with a Falcon besides racing or Sunday drive, get a 4 door or a wagon. Two doors and rancheros have NO space at all in them.
Have a 99 Aussie Falcon ute, plenty of room for 6 foot 200 lb man. And storage behind seat.. tray fits a palette. No problem.
@@stuarthynes6136 sadly we only have falcons up to 1970 in the states, the second generation American rancheros are what I’m referencing. Y’all didn’t get that gen.
@@jackalnerf6230 torino/ranchers. Nice.
Readily available is a relative term. These cars rusted out long ago in Northern states.
I would still like to have one though. My brother had a 64 convertible with 260 V8 at 16 yrs old.
Good information!
Thank you. Thanks for watching
How much is a 64 Falcon Futura 4 door worth?
nice
Thank you
Aussie..first car was a 72 falcon.. now, a 99 falcon ute. Still a 2 door sports car i can carry my man stuff in the back of, or put a matress in for drive in movies.. The automotive equivalent of a mullet. Oh, both manual transmissions...
That's so cool! you guys got soooo many cool falcons we never got
@maddenmadness cheers mate, bought first one in 77.. remember sitting on hood at drive in watching mad max .. you guys had some fast cars, and cheap gas to run them.. was jealous.
@@stuarthynes6136 "sitting on the hood of a falcon watching mad max at the drive in" that's exactly how i picture Australia in my head! Thanks for sharing
@@maddenmadness if you watch Mad Max, before pursuit car goes through the caravan, you will see a yellow sign with black writing saying Noyes Brothers.. that's where my dad worked, and I sat on his lap in 60s in his car, " Learning to drive" 🤣🤣
@@maddenmadness thanks mate for your content... and conversation. Too cool.
Is that white 4-door one still available thanks
I believe all the falcons in this video have been sold
Cheap? Go price one!

Would love to build a 62 with a built 289 , 351W or 351 C 4V and maybe it to a top loader 4 spd and Detrout locker 456 reatend. Paint it Candy apple red with a black hood scoop.
that'd be a PERFECT falcon
