As astounding as it seems now, I bought one of these Falcons for the princely sum of $25.00 back in 1974. It ran and drove decent, but came with a 6 cylinder motor. But still it was a cool little car. I think I got $50.00 for it when I sold it a couple of years later.

Bought mine in 93, for $100. He wanted to keep the tires, they were new, and would fit his Mustang II. That was okay, I had a set of 5 window aluminum mags (ET style) that would fit. When he saw what a transformation a set of wheels made, he tried to make me sell it back. It's still sitting in my 'junkyard', needs floors replaced. 😔

@@anthonyangeli256 That was the standard engine for the Falcons, but starting in '61, you could opt for the 101hp 170cid I6. Joey was talking about the 260, it could have been put into his dad's car later, but it wasn't a factory option until midway through the '63 model year. (Feb, 63. The ID plates will say '63B'.) And then, it was only offered in the Sprint models. 2 door hardtop and convertible models. The Sprints could be readily identified by the bucket seats. They were very limited, and I think they were the test beds for the Mustang, released in mid 64. If you examined the two, you'd be surprised how similar they were. The only differences I ever saw were the body panels, dash, steering wheel, etc. The running gear is completely interchangeable.

for8861 , they're just Chevy Mickey Thompson valve covers , with a ford sticker on it , you could put a ford sticker on your tricycle and it would still be your tricycle , not a ford , it's a entire Chevy engine

Stop watching as soon as I saw the Chevy engine in it. There's no excuse for that anymore. People spend a fortune on a car body itself and paint work and customisation then cheap out by putting a Chevy engine in it.
