  • I've been wanting to shoot this car for a very long time now. I'm not sure if I first saw it online or at a NMCA autocross event in California but all I know is once I saw it, I knew right away that this had to be the baddest Ford Falcon ever built. What makes this build even more special is #1 he built it in the garage with his dad and #2 it was a car he purchased back in high school.
Anyways, I hope everyone enjoys the video and I'd like to thank Brent for allowing me to shoot the car but also Michael for being my driver for the day.

A perfect build in my opinion, modern enough with respect to the old school.
Love the story behind the car and the fact you talked about nearly everything and who was involved in the build.
If one was building a Falcon or Ranchero of the same period, this would be an excellent example of what to go off of.
    Thank you for sharing 👍🏻

I appreciate the nice comments. I try to have the owners tell as much as they can about their vehicles. Probably a selfish decision but I like to know what they did and why they did it.

Hey, it coulda been a real street monster at the time! We lost one run on the zoo
Street! They had a good positive tractaction rear end! Sadly, the positive traction unit gave them an advantage! First time we lost! Good combination!

This is a beautiful falcon! I think the whole story is awesome. Really tells the skill set his father had too. This is something that took skill ,patience, and of course a lot of money to accomplish. I really wish I could see exactly how that exhaust system was ran . Great job and great story

You need to know that for most of my life I was a Chevy/Pontiac guy. It was in 1996 that I purchased a 1969 Ford Galaxie 500 and it had been a 4 door ugly drab green Police car from Ocala Florida.
I bought it from a marine for $850.
After driving it for about 3 or 4 months and I had a sheet covering the front seat that was all torn up the dash was all look like a rat had chewed on it the headliner was gone but the car had these low guts in it and so I got curious and I did some investigating and I found out that I had a 428 Cobra jet block under the hood.
After 5 years and a lot of time spent I ended up with a magnificent running 428 Cobra jet 850 Holly high-rise hooker heads new cam knew everything on that engine and 3 inch exhaust with the Mopar turbo mufflers going back and I have to tell you that that was one of the coolest cars I've ever.
I consider the car that you're showing us today is by far the best most interesting and exciting Ford I've ever seen especially a falcon ... all of us used to make fun of Falcons.
Thank you so much for sharing your car and it's amazing great great car it's just ideal it's a Fabulous car.

You wouldn't have made fun of a friend of mine's 289 built hypo Falcon.. That little car was a big block killer. His best friend had a 68 Chevelle with a 396. That little Falcon smoked that Chevelle and other big blocks. That Chevelle was pretty quick, but no match for that Falcon.

Beautiful build and great story. The best part is you continuing to pursue the Ford family legacy. I worked for your father and grandfather at Jennings Auto and Marine while a senior at San Marcos high school. I knocked on your grandfather’s door several times asking for a chance to work at his shop so I could begin to learn the trade. Your Dad also had an incredible Falcon when he was in high school. I stumbled across this video tonight and was pleasantly surprised by it. I heard your Dad was building a mustang but had no idea he had a son who also was a car enthusiast. This video made me think about my beginnings in the automotive industry. Your Grandfather gave me a chance and I will never forget his passion for Ford automobiles . I currently own my own shop in Goleta since 1989 . Please tell your Dad Robert says hello. I have not seen your car on the road yet in town. If I had it would have definitely caught my attention. Thanks for sharing your story and experience.

I've always loved the " NOT A MUSTANG" body lines the 64-65 has. I spotted one in the early 90s sitting in a driveway with debris under it indicating it'd been sitting for a while. No answer at the door so I left a note to call me if it was for sale. For the next 10 years every time I was close by I'd leave a note. I was in shock when the owner, a truck driver, called me and said I could have it for $500. He said it runs and he'd get it running good enough to get it home and could pick it up at noon the next day. I couldn't sleep that night. I drove it home the next day. I spent the next two months getting the cobwebs off and out of it to where it wouldn't break down. Unfortunately I ran into money problems and sold it for $2000. That was 1999 and since then they've been growing further and further out of my price range.

Hot Nod and Car Crap Ragazine writers will probably yawn and cover their crap holes and say; "It's too bad it doesn't have a Shevy in it. It might've made an inset picture on the front page of our rags." Beautiful ride. We need more young men and women like your family to find and polish these old Ford gems. Hope your next video will have the sound of what this Falcon sounds like when it hits the rev limiter.

My dad was a gear head (drove a 62 Galaxie 406) The first time My sisters friend picked her up you could hear the car a block away. My dad said we gotta check this out. He had to see the car!! It ran mis 11's & that was fast at the time.

I bought a 64 falcon off a guy that had redone it for his son but then decided to sell it. He was an airplane mechanic and put a lot of work into it. The car had some rust issues when he started and he rounded out the wheel wells to get rid of the bad metal. He painted it 69 GT red and his paint was flawless. It had a 302 out of a mustang and ran perfect. He took me for a test ride and I offered him all the money I had, $2,500. He was asking $3,000 and if I had that much I would have gladly paid it. He took the $2,500. This car turned heads it was beautiful and I was half way home before I looked up and noticed the headliner was the one thing he didn't work on. How didn't I notice that? It didn't matter I worked for my Uncle and he had basically invented modern headliners working for a company in Indy that promised him the moon then they moved to Detroit and they cheated him out what he had made. He never trusted any business men after that. That didn't matter either he started his own business after that and even though he's gone now his son runs it and it's still in business today. I started in 1977 and not many small businesses manage to make it that far.
That's one bad azz Falcon you've got just awesome. Thanks for sharing it!

Nicest US Falcon I've ever seen. There is some wild Aussie stuff down under, where the Falcon never died...cars like Mad Max's 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT coupe....Rancheros (utes they call em)...etc, etc. Max would have gladly driven your car instead! Or raced you with the XB. (would pay $$ to see that!)

When is the next time you are there and maybe it might be when I'm racing and I could check out your car. My 64 has a 260 with a couple motor mods and a C4, it's enough power for now but maybe in the future there could be a 302...

Hey, bro, I'm 15 seconds inside the video. That is an absolute sexy, beautiful Falcon, great year, what is it? I'm not even going to go past 15 seconds. But I would say 6465. Probably probably a Coyote. But I don't wanna guess. And be an idiot, but from the sounds a bit and the way that it looks. That is a priceless falcon absolutely beautiful job

I had a 66 falcon futura and not much $$$ back in 94. 6 cylinder 3 on the tree I wanted it faster but first brakes handling so I bought a maverick grabbed the disc brakes and the rear end and axle that gave me a lot better breaks and two more inches for tires in the back got some heavy duty springs with 2 inches cut off Koni shocks sway bar thing was so slow but very few people entered a freeway clover leaf right behind me and were still right behind me entering the next straight away lol

@315squared4 well considering, the 351c is a big heavy but powerful tq moster vs the 351w which can or could be a lightweight high rpm muncher that's cheaper and easier to build

How much longer will California allow you to own a car like this? 😆 I'm joking I'm joking... seriously though super nice car sir. I have a soft spot for the falcons. I was a sophomore in 1999. Got my first car then, 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook. Found it in a barn, fixed it up enough to drive around. Really like the direction of your build, absolutely amazing.
