I took this girl I met at work to see Skid Row, cause she had a major crush on Sebastian Bach. When they played this song it was the first time we kissed, so we dedicated this to be our song. That was our first date and now 21 years later were married with a 17 year old son...thank you Sebastian.

When I hear an old Skid Row song I'm still amazed at Sebastian Bach's range.
Not with Skid Row, but I got to see him live while he was still in his prime in an outdoor environment and he was excellent. Got to meet him a couple times and hang a tad, too. Awesome dude, at least in my experiences.

As a straight woman, if I see a beautiful woman, I have no issue telling her she looks beautiful. Did I lift her spirit a little? Maybe... might she think I'm gay or creepy? Also maybe lol. I'm a 80's child (52 y/o now) and let me tell you it was THE time to be a teenager/20's. Sebastian Bach HANDS DOWN has the best rock voice, IMO. He's 53 years old now. Makes me want to cry.

I love Sebastion Bach but vocally nobody can bear Miljenko Matijevic from Steelheart, not even Sebastian. That guy can still sing those notes today and sing then live just as good as he did then.
In 1989 and in the early 90's, every single girl was in love with Sebastian. Even I. Still listening to this and 18 and life and remember back.
I had his picture in my wallet when I was in high school. 😂 But those beautiful rock singers was one of the reasons women in the 80's and 90's loved rock music. For Gen Xs, rock is for everyone not only for men.

It is definitely up there. A few other contenders off the top of my head, Love Song by Tesla, Love Bites by Def Leppard and Don't Know What You've Got('Til It's Gone) by Cinderella.
It's a good one but not as good as songs like Dokken - Alone again, WASP - Sleeping in the fire, Savatage - Summer's rain, Fifth Angel - Broken dreams, White Lion - Lady Of The Valley and not to forget Skid Row - Quicksand Jesus, according to me.

The thing about this song, and Sebastian’s performance, was this was BEFORE he was vocally trained. He ended up getting vocal training, in the late 90’s/early 2000’s to play lead in Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. He was amazing in that role, and Skid Row’s concerts during that period had some AMAZING vocal performances that you could also check out online!

i love him in trailer park boys. i saw him do an interview on ricki lake (i think) when i was in second or third grade. skid row was my favorite band so i was pumped for the interview. most of the interview was baz advocating to legalize marijuana. at that moment i knew i was going to be a pothead.

Especially the mandatory solos mid-song. Every time. Haha! My 1st real exposure to rock was in 1981 on MTV (yep-they used to play music videos 24 hrs a day. I know-- hard to believe) Anyway, it was Def Leppard with "Bringin on the Heartbreak" Would you do a react to that? Killer tune.

They didn’t even want to put this on their album, because it was a “chick song”, and they wanted to be a Rock group. Management said they really had to put it on their album and it became one of their most popular songs of their career. Guess you should always listen to management! Sebastian had prettier hair than most females and also a prettier face 😁😁! Loved this song and still do. Ah, wish I could go back in time. This album, along with Dr. Feelgood, were the soundtracks to my summer working at a waterslide park. It was reminiscent of life in a teen summer movie, and this song bring back great memories.
